1 starAbsolute worst company I have ever dealt with for appliances. Bought a washer. 1 year later it stopped working -6 months of “trouble shooting “ to find the issues with me having to take 7 days from work. Half the time the technicians falsifying records claiming they serviced the machine when they never showed up. They finally agreed to replace the washer. Went to the store. The sales rep was as horrible as the technicians. So I went to a new location- that sales rep was decent. Guys come to deliver the washer and claim they aren’t allowed to move the dryer off- fine, I moved it myself. Then they say that they aren’t allowed to disconnect the machine- (which had they told me before I moved the dryer , I would have rescheduled). I turned off the water line and was disconnecting the washer and I told them I would put it outside. To which they said they are leaving and I can reschedule the delivery. So another day off of work for no reason and 10 people one who is on oxygen 24 hours a day with 24 hour care still no washer. IReview fromAlberto L

We purchased a fridge about 1 year ago and over 10 service appointments later we continue to have issues and are given the run-around. We are actually calling a local TV channel to do a report on the poor customer service and multiple issues we've had with PC Richards. We've lost over $2000.00 on groceries gone bad since we purchased the fridge and countless hours of work, since we are always given a 4-hour window. Every time we have an appointment schedule we miss time from work. I've also started the process of contacting our credit card to see if they can pull the payment.P.C. Richard & Son Inc.

The showroom personnel will assist you further. The credit is in the amount of the original purchase price, which is $1298.97 + tax ($115.28) for a total of $1414.25; we will remove the old appliance when we deliver the new one. We bought a fridge from PC Richards and son.It lasted two months now the fridge does not work our food is spoiled and we have to throw food out. we contacted them and now we are getting the run-around. They give us credit but they will not give us a new fridge.P.C. Richard & Son Inc.

1 starI purchased an ** washer and dryer less than 2 years ago with a service warranty. Mid-October when we needed it the most the washer stopped working as we recently moved my 92 year old father in-law into our home as he was ill and could no longer live in his own home. When I contacted the service department I mentioned and pleaded with them to please expedite the service repair as the daily laundry needs for our elder were enormous and his health was rapidly failing. Needless to say, my father in-law passed away on October 29th and we are still without a working washing machine. I find that the compassion shown by this company for a customer in need is negligible at best. We will never shop at PC Richards again, there are many other companies out there with great customer service etiquette to choose from.Review fromGail R

This company is the absolute worst, and so does their warranty. I shouldve bought my appliances from *********** After a year of using my $3000+ ******* refrigerator, the compressor went bad. Its been going onto 3 weeks and theyre telling me that the part is backorder and cant give me an ETA. I have 2 little kids who needs milk everyday and cant even prep their lunches for school. Its been so difficult and pc Richard dont give a c*** what were going through. All of foods have to be dumped, we cant save any leftovers. So disappointed and very aggravated at this point. Ive been a loyal customers for decades but Im begging everyone that is reading this, please dont purchase appliances from PC richards, ********** is way way better and they reimburse you up to $300 for food you have to throw away and your applicances actually gets fixed within a week or 2.P.C. I purchased a gas stove it was delivered damaged and refurbished. there was exposed wires on the top of stove it also had the wrong back plate covers the rubber gasket for the stove was old and dry. damage to the enamel top left corner of stove. why would you deliver a damaged stove to customer. yes they did replace the stove but you don't treat your customer with disrespect and a slap in the face with a damaged stove. last time going there. I've been having an issue with service. I e seen 5 service men and they have changed parts 3x. To no avail nothing has been fixed it's Sept 23rd and they decided to send another person other then replace it. Finally after taking to cooperate in getting a replacement however I have to buy a new warranty. The terms of the warranty are of they replace item that satisfies term every though I have 5 more years. Read fine print people. Be careful when purchasing warranties read everything.P.C. We ordered through a salesperson in *********** a Whirlpool washer/dryer unit on Aug 20th. Both units were delivered to our home on August 23rd. Within 7 days we realised that the dryer was leaking. The installer did not attach a hose to the drain pipe and the water had been leaking damaging my floor to a point where they need to be replaced. On Aug 31st the salesperson was notified and a pipe/hose was sent to us and delivered Sept 7 which we attached to a bucket that was placed on top of the dryer unit to collect the water. On Sept 10 when attempting to use the dryer the unit flashed "LF" and would not start to dry the clothes. After calling the salesperson, and then the service hotline 3 times (the first time I called the rep did not even have my phone number or name on file) I was able to secure a service technician to come.When the technician came he said that he could not fix the dryer as the computer inside the machine is not functioning correctly causing it to say there is no lint filter, even though the lint filter is clean and inserted correctly. He said he would write a report to ask for a new unit to be replaced. I asked him to stay and file the report in my home and upload the images as I am desperate to get a machine that will work.I called PC Richards to follow up 10 minutes after the technician left. She told me since the technician only wrote "cannot fix" it did not mean the dryer could not be fixed and therefore she needed to speak with the technician and see what the issue was and whether they could send a replacement dryer. This made absolutely no sense to me. If your technician says he cannot fix it, then what else does he have to write? The customer service rep promised she would call me back by the end of today. It is 9:14pm. I still have not heard from her and probably never will.WHAT TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.P.C. Richard & Son Inc.

Where do I start. I purchased a ******* washer machine on march 3 2023. I purchased a five year warranty and with tax everything came up to ****. Now in September we are hearing a loud banging noise on the spin cycle. I go downstairs to investigate and the washing machine is in the middle of the floor and the detergent liquid dispenser is on the floor and all the clothes that were on top of the machine is now on the floor. Also when I go to the washing machine window, there is a bulge so now you cannot close that door/window. ** Richards sends in a repair technician on 9/19/2023 and he is there no more than five minutes and tells us that the washing machine cannot be fixed and we would need a new one. Call ** Richards customer service and no update, the tech did not submit a report yet. Next day still no updates, but I receive a phone call to inform that we should receive a tech report soon. Then on Thursday I receive the great news that the washing machine has physical damage and they will refund me my warranty money. Wow!! I requested they send in a tech again for a second opinion but I have a feeling that it will go absolutely no where. It is clear that the machine is defective and looking at the other reviews of the machine posted on the ** Richards site, a lot of others are having the same issue with the machine specifically the spin cycle which possibly caused the weight to break causing the lump on the side of the machine. Shame on ** Richards for not sticking by their products that they sell. The mere fact that you offered to give back the warranty money shows that you know the machine is faulty and will always have issues and would rather back away from it. I am so disappointed in the behavior presented. We have always purchased from you for many years but this is truly the last.P.C. Richard & Son Inc.
