      after being a loyal customer for over 20 years, I needed my oven fixed and they were horrible! I will never buy anything here again!

      BUYER BEWARE. Do not shop there. I originally ordered a Maytag set from P.C. Richard and Sons. When they called me to discuss my order they said they didnt have any available for immediate delivery. They could get me GE instead immediately. The dryer ended up being a problem that was a 3 week delay (I had to take 3 days off work for deliveries scheduled with them in the process). The first time I washed my laundry, the dryer started smoking and I called P.C. Richards and requested that they address the situation. They told me that they would send a GE technician out and could not replace the machine without doing that first. Nobody contacted me. This was a month ago.The machine appeared to be functioning the following week, so I went ahead and used it while I was home. Ive used it for a *** of 8 loads. Last night I tried to use it after washing clothes and having an unfortunate situation develop where I unexpectedly had to wash bedding and couch covers, etc. The dryer had no heat and was completely unable to dry my clothes. I have multiple loads still sitting at home that I have to take to a laundromat now. I have been on the phone with P.C. Richards multiple times today. When I called at 10am (as soon as they opened) I was promised a resolution by end of day. I am now currently sitting at P.C. **************************** (******, **) and the manager has sent an email to the servicing manager for me. They are refusing to replace the machine and insisting on scheduling servicing because it is past 30 days since delivery. It was delivered on the 11th of August.Not only has their appliance risked my home catching fire, but they have been completely useless in resolving the issue of their lemon appliance that they originally recommended as a replacement for the original item I wanted to purchase. They have wasted my time with deliveries, servicing promises, and having to seek out alternative places to have my clothes dried.

      I want to say that I had an excellent experience with Hasseeb at *******. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Also I originally went to Atlantic location ***** was professional with excellent customer service. Both were helpful in my decision in buying my replacement refrigerator.

      Warning ?? before you buy anything from PC Richard&Son I bought ac unit for over 2 000$ and within 2 months it was defected ,was making noise very loud I couldn't sleep or rest, so I had to turn it off and suffer the hot night. I called numerous times for help and service, every service man who came said they don't see anything wrong until the 6t time the service man noticed the sound only because I recorded on my cell phone. They still to refuse to give me a new one or to come and fix it. They run around at the same time for 3 months. I am bed ridden patient during summer very humid... I have to choose to sweat all night or choose to not sleep and listen to the defected broken ac which I paid 2000$ for. I will be reporting PC Richard&Son to all outlets as to how they treat customers when the product doesn't work.

      We purchased a dryer & an electric range/stove from P. C. **************************** two days ago and when they brought it to our home yesterday, we noticed that there is a safety instruction sheet attached to the top of the stove. As per the sheet, the range that we received is an induction cook top. We actually wanted a radiant cook top. We looked up on their website to make sure that the range delivered to us is the right kind. But there was no clear answer to our question. Called the location and spoke to the sales person & the manager, who didn't even want to hear my concern. They just reassured me that it is the radiant type even though the safety sheet says that it is an induction stove. They wanted me to pay around $200 dollars restocking fee if I wanted it to exchange it for another range, even though the new range was never even connected to the electric source or used. Protective wrap is still intact. They tried to put the blame on me saying that they delivered what I ordered. And said they can't do anything. I deeply regret my decision to purchase from this company. I am not convinced with their answer. I feel betrayed. Will never ever purchase anything from them again.

      Tech came over my place looked at refrigerator, said it needed new door ,door arrived new tech came with the wrong door ?I told him to put on new gaskets anyway he refused said he would do all at once ,now I call back and they say it won't be replaced because it's cosmetic, so they won't replace the door they brought to me dented that's a new one? And even still they were supposed to replace the leaky gaskets and closed out the work order unreal .

The credit would be for the amount of the original purchase price, which is $1229.99 + tax ($78.10) for a total of $1308.09; we would remove the old appliance when we deliver the new one. The remainder of your service contract will be satisfied. This would mean that you would have to purchase a new service contract if you wish to have additional coverage on the new appliance. Please let us know if this is how you would like to proceed, and we will get things started for you on our end.

      they do not stand behind what they sell. Spent over $2000.00 for a mattress with a 10 year Full warranty they would not replace a 2 year old mattress that collapsed in the middle because my grand child had a little accident when sleeping over which had NOTHING to do with the collapse of the matttress

      Within 2 months of my Friedrich air conditioner purchase the unit broke down. Nobody in their customer service department was able to tell me what the error message meant. The store and the ***** customer service number were of no help. They claim to stand by their sales but thats not true. I would suggest ****** or ******* who wouldve allowed an exchange without any problems.

      I purchased a Haier refrigerator in March, today August 21, 2023, the rubber seal around the door is almost completely unglued. I have called the store and been connected to their service departments three times, to no avail, not one service appointment has been kept. I have to prop water or some other heavy object against the door to try to keep my refrigerator closed. Twice when I called them, they have connected me to a recorder that says, "you're the 4th caller," then I have held on for over thirty minutes only to be hung up on after holding for all that time. If this is what an A+ rating means, I am in big trouble! Or, this company could be in trouble because they seem to choose bad customer service and broken or inferior products over quality products and excellent customer service. God will judge.
