1 starPC Richards the worst experience I had with this company. First I had purchased a refrigerator under store credit in ********* **, and I was explained that they dont have it in the warehouse yet but theres supposed to receive more shipments coming in couple weeks. Delivery date and time was set up in 3 weeks, but when I made the call the day before of my delivery, they said they stopped making that brand, and they also couldnt find my information in their system, I had to give them the order number. Note: they did not bother to notify me to let me know that they stopped making this brand, if I wouldnt made the call I wouldve waited all day for nothing. Second I decided to go ********** ** branch I purchased a different refrigerator. Everything went through ok, but for some reason they kept pulling up my old information so provided them with updated address. My refrigerator got delivered to the correct address but I never received **************** card or a bill by mail. Ive called the store and they said I had to call the bank that purchased the store card, when I called the bank they said that PC Richard placed the wrong address, this is why I never received anything. I called PC Richards service out to fix my GE washer that I bought in 2017. I scheduled an appointment in September 2022. Waited all day for them. They never showed. I called. They said there was no appointment in their computer so I made another appointment which they couldnt give me for at least another two weeks while my washer is leaking all over my basement floor. When they finally came the serviceman came in for a minute and said there was a hole in the hose which made me happy, not a big job. I figured it would be done that day but he said he didnt have the part but he would order it. I couldnt believe he didnt have the part since it is a common repair but, we ordered it. It took about six weeks for them to call I did not make the appointment right away because it was a busy time for us. When I called they said they cancelled the order and I owed them $199.97 for the diagnosis. They never left any message saying they were cancelling my order. The deal with PC Richards is it cost $199 for diagnosis and labor. Parts are separate. I told them I had no problem paying once they finished the job. They would not re do the order and are insisting I owe them the money even though they didnt come and finish the job. I tried several times talking to customer service. They have threatened collections but never said they would come in and finish the job. I buy all my appliances from them and bring my family to do the same. They no longer have mine or my familys business if they dont fix this. Im willing to pay cash once the job is finished and they are saying no!?!?!P.C. Richard & Son Inc.

sale made and thats it..frig door taken off not put back squared, frig not leveled so it rocks,door slams closed on its own closure, items fall off shelves of door, installers do not speak english, asked to fix problem p c richards says what day can i take off my job to fix there mistake?P.C. I bought a ******* 24 in. Smart Built-In Dishwasher with Top Control, 42 dBA Sound Level, 15 Place Settings, 7 Wash ***************** Cycle - Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel on November 30th 2022. On February 15th 2023 it stopped working. PC Richards has been attempting to assist me with the manufacture warranty from *******. I have had multiple service calls from one of their service companies who states that the dishwasher needs to be replaced however, PC Richards continuously says they need a second opinion and need to send another tech out to service the dishwasher. The tech has already change out the mother board and investigated the drain pump. I have called PC Richards multiple times. They have stated they will call me back to set up an appointment for a tech visit but never call me back. I am completely disgusted with how they are handling this. I have not had this dishwasher for two months and it has stopped working. I understand that they need to go through the warranty from ******* but I have had multiple service calls stating the dishwasher is faulty. I will never purchase any further products from PC Richards. If / when the manufactures warranty comes through I will ask for a refund and buy a dishwasher from another company (not PC Richard or *******). I recommend the same for any other person looking for any appliances. Please avoid the headache and use any other company.P.C. Richard & Son Inc.

1 starBUYER BEWARE! I bought a NEW refrigerator costing over 2k. They send me a banged up scratch and dent. I asked for a refund and they refused. Also they wouldn't be able to exchange it for over 2 months! This is why you stay with the big box stores. *** NOT BUY FROM PC RICHARDS UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR SCRATCH AND DENT. We purchased a Fridgidare refrigerator about 6 months ago with the additional $250 service agreement that provided us with service or a replacement if something should go wrong. Well, about a month ago the refrigerator started freezing food and after a failed replacement we are 3 weeks in a no cold situation. It took 3 weeks to receive the ordered part and in that the the fridge has declined to being fully inoperable. We have asked the Assistant Store Manager in Ledgewood to honor our service agreement and replace the fridge. He said he would. That they still dont know exactly what is wrong with the fridge and we in a no cold situation for 3 weeks. Yet, the **************** isnt honoring our service agreement and forcing another visit with another part and then if it doesnt work we have to go into a review with the manufacturer to maybe receive the replacement we were promised in the paid service agreement. We are getting the run around with promises from ************ Store Manger and the disconnect with the service division. Meanwhile, we are 3 weeks now without a properly working refrigerator. How is this acceptable living standard when we paid for a service agreement that included a replacement for an inoperable device. We would request P.C. Richard honor the service contract they sold us that clearly states a replacement in the ****************** agreement. The service agreement doesnt state what they are telling us that we have to go through 3 service calls first then a review with the manufacturer before a replacement may be made. How is it they expect ** to live without a working refrigerator? We have tried to resolve this matter at the store level with the Assistant Manager and we are just getting the run around at this point. We have been patient but it is time they honor our service agreement we paid for. How would the *** like to live according to how they honor service agreements?P.C. Richard & Son Inc.

1 starI have an extended warranty on ** refrigerator. Last august it went dead,lost everything .Called for service took them a week and a half ,but by the time they came it came back on after 1 week. When service came they said they couldnt do anything because compressor now working.In the middle of this feb. refrigerator again stopped working and has not turned on again-again everting lost.Requested an after 2 appointment with service even called their headquarters,no luck.Tech came and said he had to order parts,had to call for another appointment,another week later.Tech comes this time and evaporator coil bent.He had the nerve to ask me do you want me to put this in,Im sure if I hadnt seen it he would haveNow another appointment has to be made,meanwhile I was E-mailed that my part are in.Pc richards wont come the next day so Im out another week,plus three days of pay for each time the tech.,was there but no job was done.Its almost a month now and no working refrigerator.I payed a lot of money for a service plan ,and they think they can take as long as they want to fix it.Dont buy from ** or Pc richards,their a different kind of company than they were years ago.My next action will be a class action suitReview fromCarol L

If there was a half star thats the one I would choose to rate this company. This company used to be one of the best bar none now its the worst around. I have bought a refrigerator and a stove in the last year it and both inferior products. I cannot even begin to express how bad the customer service was to me. From day one the refrigerator didnt work right. Let them try to fix it twice and as soon as they fixed one thing something else was broke. Even before they left my house. I ended up having to buy another one from a different store. Then I tried again with a stove this Nov. came scratched and unable to clean the top from smudges. Had service come said scratches werent that bad and to use more elbow grease on stove top. Finally fed up called corporate office. Well since the stove top and the scratches it came with and smudgy cook top are just cosmetic we will do nothing for you. Hung up on me. This is customer service today. 1 starI purchased an ****** Dryer and Washer from PC Richards in **********, ** (over the phone) in Feb 2023. Two men showed up to deliver and install the appliances on 2/25 and immediately claimed my gas line was leaking (pointing to plumbers grease and calling it "wet"), but that I could pay them $175 cash to change the valve themselves. We declined and said we would call a plumber. They then said the washer was too heavy for two people to carry and that a four person team would need to come back to carry it and install it and they left the machine in my kitchen after taking my existing machines. I call Monday to confirm the new delivery date and am told that Thursday 3/2 is the soonest a four person team is available. The morning of 3/2 two men show up and carry the washer down the stairs, but say they can't install it. An hour or so later three men show up to install the machines and they immediately say the mechanical valve on my gas line is too old so they can't install it. They call their manager who encourages me over the phone to pay them $80 cash to install a new valve and "save myself money on a plumber." The guy even came prepared with a valve in his pocket. Again we declined and accepted the fact that we would not have a working dryer until we could pay a plumber to come out. We left the team to finish up and they wound up installing it fully and it works fine. No smell of gas whatsoever and no apparent concerns with my gas line. I called customer service and they confirmed this practice is allowed by PC Richards and that the drivers get to keep the cash. This practice preys on vulnerable people that won't understand the situation or that can't afford to call a plumber. Two separate teams on two separate days tried to scam us to "fix" a gas line that is fully functional and not leaking. I'm just glad we didn't waste money falling for their scare tactics.Review fromSarra A

I purchased a 75 inch *********** It was delivered on Friday, the guy that delivered it tested the tv it was working, I asked him to move it into my bedroom where Im going to put it . He moved it for me . When I plugged it in. The screen was cracked and tv wasnt working properly. I called and emailed pc Richard. They basically said the box is open and it is not their problem, when the delivery guy tested it it was working . Asking for it to be moved was my request therefore my fault . Never buying anything from them again.
