      What a poor customer service model! I received an item I didnt want as an internet purchase gift but live somewhere that is nowhere close to a PC Richard location. *********, a poor excuse for an internet sales supervisor, accused me of not trying to return the item sooner as if my life is surrounded by getting rid of that item. The lack of flexibility in their returns policy is exactly why they have so many unpurchased items sitting on their shelves currently. Best of luck as they try to keep doors open.

      I have been a customer of PC Richard for decades now and my parents would always shop there. This complaint is for the Levittown store. We bought a stackable washer and dryer a month ago. We thought we were getting a great deal because we got free delivery and 24 months interest free financing. We also were glad because we were able to get it delivered on a Saturday. The day before delivery a rep called us to set up a delivery window. She asked us if we had the stacking device. We told her no and she said they couldn't do the delivery without our having the stacking device. We called the store and spoke to the salesman who sold us the washer/dryer, ********. He told us he offered us the stacking device but we refused it. The truth is we were offered but were led to believe that the stacking device was optional. He claimed he asked us several times to purchase it. He only asked us once. He told me on the phone it would cost us almost 200 dollars more for the device and set up. Our other option was to get a refund. I told him I would pay because I didn't want to wait any longer for the washer/dryer. He then put me on hold and then came back on the phone to tell me they didn't have it in stock, so I got the refund. My question is why they would set us up for an installation of a stackable washer if he knew we didn't have the stacking devices. We went to ****** to purchase a washer/dryer after this fiasco. She told us the stacking device was part of the accessories. She said the salesman should have worked that into the order automatically and not offered it. ******** was completely wrong. Now I have to wait another week to get my washer/dryer. We did get a better deal at ****** though.

      My washer has been broke for six weeks. Have an extended service contract. Every tech that comes to fix it and change a part does not except the last one. Btw he was rude to my wife. Spoke to her like a child. He came back a week later. Changed the actuator and said to myself in a nice tone guess cause I am a man. If this does not work you need a new washer. Low and behold first wash did not work. Now new tech did not show up to deem it un-fixable. No managers call back. Now they want me to use an outside company to fix it cause their techs can not figure it out. Six weeks without a washer is an extreme hardship with a wife and two kids. I will never go into or buy anything from this establishment. The local appliance store treats me with respect. Not this company. I will give it minus five star review. They do honor their extended warranties. I bought this washer from their store in ********* ******. STAY AWAY!!!!!

      Do not buy appliances from PC Richards... they're defective. We bought a refrigerator for $2500 with a service contract. The freezer was not working and the water line from the beginning. We called PC Richards they sent a technician the guy didn't fix it told us to push the freezer in more. We called multiple times and the problems were never fixed. Then the fridge went hot and completely stopped working. PC Richards took weeks to send out a tech. The tech came and said he had to order part and would come back in 2 days. He never returned I called PC Richards and they said the parts are on order. I escalated it and they provided a credit to go buy a new fridge. Went in to the store bought a ***** that they said were better parts and paid a difference of over $1400. The delivery people brought the new fridge and it's broken. The fridge doors wouldn't even close. Months of complaining, 1 month without the fridge actually working, $3500 down the drain. Horrible company!

      I purchased four appliances for my kitchen in 2019. They are all ******** I also purchased a service contract for each appliance. I have no complaint against the technicians who have been sent to repair the two appliances which have both been deemed unrepairable. My complaint is with PC Richard. Three weeks ago, the igniter on my oven stopped functioning. Last week, PC Richard emailed me, stating that ******* is no longer making the igniter. PC Richard offered to give me the original cost of my range/oven . The stipulations are that I have to purchase a new range/oven through them and my service contract on the original appliance is then satisfied. In the meantime, I will pay a couple hundred more for a new oven/ range and I certainly never got my moneys worth on the service contract. When PC Richard could not locate the part I needed for my freezer drawer last year ( they continued to send the same wrong part) , they deemed I could get a new refrigerator from them ( but I would pay more). They only offered to give me the original cost of the refrigerator. Again, this meant this service contract was also satisfied. Is this a scam?

      We purchased a ******* double oven stove with a 10 year service contract 5 years ago it stopped working and a repair man came about a month ago we were waiting on a part ever since then the part finally came in and they came to install it today the repair man was here for 15 minutes. The stove was working when he left but a half hour later it stopped working again when we called PC Richard we asked to have the stove replace and theyre refusing were waiting for a manager to call ** back so we can resolve this the repairmen are playing a hit and miss game trying to figure out what is wrong which is why we want the stove replaced weve been without a stove for about a month and we need to get this resolved ASAP especially with the holidays right around the corner. We paid $2000 for the stove along with another $4000 for a refrigerator dishwasher and microwave all with 10 year contracts PC Richards has always been our go to place for appliances but this experience will change this

      Update. PC Richard Manger called us back and with the part needed for the stove still on back order he was very empathetic with our situation since we were hosting thanksgiving and provided us with a credit for a new stove delivered in time for the holiday

      Bought an LG refrigerator for approximately $2800 in the ******* **. store. Not very long after delivery, the service department on Long Island, NY had to fix it. They said the defective compressor on this model was a common problem on this model. They came back three days later to replace it, then said I would have to pay for labor. (before they installed it). I refused, then they called their office for further instructions, and then they said ok and replaced the defective parts. I have been getting harassment for $160.00 payment and called Mike and AL in the service department. They said the manager will call me, but never did. These people have no clue. They know the product is defective, and they don't back it up. Never again.

      I recently had a terrible experience in the aftermath of purchasing an air conditioner. I was shocked, when receiving the bill to find the total to be almost twice the price of the a/c when installation charges, etc., were added in. I was not advised of all of these charges in advance of making the purchase.
      Arrangements for the installation were cumbersome and characterized by delays and miscommunication on the part of the company. The representative with whom I spoke on the phone insisted on addressing me as "Mama," and offered no apology when I pointed out that I was not her mother and didn't want to be spoken to in that way.
      The installation was most unsatisfactory. The servicemen arrived with no masks and only grudgingly agreed to put on the ones we gave them. The main one was surly. He had no idea how to install the special filters we had ordered. He demanded an additional $100 in cash for a piece of plexiglass needed to close the gap with the window. He applied the sealant to the plexiglass very sloppily, leaving gaps, and faied to advise us not to touch it until it had thoroughly dried.
      During this process, which took 2 weeks to complete, I wrote 2 detailed letters and went in person to complain to the store manager, ***** ******. He never replied to my letters, though a credit of $150 appeared on my credit card account.
      I am disappointed to discover that P.C. Richard is listed as an "Accredited Business" on a recent full-page ad in The ** *****. It makes me wonder if this complaint will fall on deaf ears and what the conflict of interest might be if the BBB is itself the sponsor of this shoddy business.

      I thought I was doing the right thing by ordering with a local company and also expecting to not have complications. Boy was I wrong. I ordered a refrigerator and spare water filter online. My confirmation email said I would be getting a call to schedule delivery. I never got a call but an email so I scheduled my delivery. I took half a day off of work, emptied my old refrigerator into coolers in order to make room for my new one. The delivery driver never showed up. Upon calling I was told that my delivery for the refrigerator was never scheduled and the delivery was for the water filter which also never showed up. I physically have a confirmation email stating the delivery of the two items including unboxing placement and leveling of the refrigerator. Do not use this company. It is unfortunate that our hands are tied to these large companies nowadays that obviously cannot manage their size.

      Had service on my washer. Tech cleared the issue and then continued to work on the machine and caused the whole machine to become inoperable. After multiple visits after and being told by the same tech that he didn't order the correct parts, was offered a replacement. Misled by the rep before agreeing to the replacement. Can't order the same brand because they don't have any available. Switch to another brand, lied to again by the store reps themselves, and then delivered the wrong replacement washer. Then when I asked for a contact above the store manager, there is no phone number available and was given an undeliverable email. How much ineptitude and apathy is enough?
