Had a flight from ********* to ******* via Turkish Airlines on Nov. 19th 2024 - specifically 2 legs - ********* to ******** + ******** to *******. The airline changed the ******** to ******* leg in October, to Nov. 20th. I let them know that it wouldn't work for me (in Oct. itself), and I require a refund. While I was working with them on processing the refund, they stopped responding to my emails or additional feedback requests - despite me trying to reach out via the call center or the airport office. I am just looking for a one flight refund from a multi-billion $ airline. So frustrating.Initial Complaint

I have filed a compliant with Turkish Airline since Nov 11th and got Turkish TK-******** as the number and was promised a follow up within 14 days. Since then, I haven't heard anything from Turkish airline. The customer service has been really poor in following up given the magnitude of this complaint and it involves them charging me money and they should return it back.Initial Complaint

Ticket number: ************* References number: ****** Name: **** **** I have a flight from ******* to ****** on 3rd December, 2024 (tomorrow) and I have been calling for the past month on Turkish Helpline to book a Bassinet seat since I am flying with an infant. All the agents on call sound completely clueless about the matter and they were so confused to book a bassinet seat in advance. Then I was told that I can get this done when check-in opens for my flight. So, now (23 hours before my flight) I am contacting the help center to book a bassinet seat and to request that me and my husband sit together (WE ARE READY TO PAY FOR THE SEATS AND THE BASSINET) and I am told that the system wont let them check-in for my seat or to select my seat. I have been getting this answer for a month now that the system wont allow/show anything.This is SO frustrating and annoying that I have to ask for all these things at the airport?And what if these requests are not accommodated at the airport as well? I had a Turkish Airlines flight from ***** to ******** on the 3rd of September. Unfortunately the trip resulted a broken luggage, the claim was submitted on the 5th of September. Since the there is no answer of my questions of the compensation even the case has been asked at least 10 times by phone and feedback ********* long can a mighty airline hold not answering the claim and just reply "in progress".Customer Answer

When I went to check-in for my flight from ********, ****** to ******, *******, I was given the option to upgrade my economy ticket to business class. One of the perks shown in the app was access to the business class lounge at the ****************. Once I got to the airport to finish checking in and drop my bags, I was told my ticket did not include access to the lounge, despite what was shown in the Turkish Airlines app. Due to the short nature of the flight, my main motivation for upgrading was lounge access, due to the fact that I was arriving at the airport about 4 hours early. Once I was denied access, I asked to have my ticket downgraded back to my original economy seat, that was also denied. Due to not getting the promised lounge access, I was forced to spend more money on top of the upgrade cost for food and drink at the airport. I was told there was nothing that could be done for me by Turkish Airlines. I'd like a partial refund, since I did not receive everything the upgrade promised.Customer Answer

Purchased round trip tickets for mother in law from *** to *** with layover in ******** both ways. On the trip from *** to IST flight got delayed for over an hour due to which connection was missed, airline rebooked to another flight next day which was delayed for more then 2 hrs again. Which caused a total delay for almost a day. Also paid seat in the flight from IST to *** was not honored nor refunded. Made multiple calls and multiple back and forth communication over their ticketing system which did not produce any meaningful response to flight delays and inconvenience nor refund for the seat that was purchased. More over on the flight from *** to IST I received multiple emails that due to operational reasons they moved the seat that I purchased for $15 at the time of booking, which gave me an option to select another seat or refund first time I selected another seat in the head of the plain, a day later got another email with the same story, I opted to cancel this time and got a refund then was able to rebook the same seat that originally purchased but already for $24. I book a round trip with Turkish airlines through Expedia and I paid for 4 extra legroom window seats and they changed the flight at least ten times and in doing so changed my seat without offering a new one and then i had to call Expedia and confirm my flight then fill out a feedback form *********** and then call MULTIPLE time just to get to the airport and they gave away my seats for my flight to *** and then now on my return flight they gave away my seat again to which i called and they refuse to give me my seat back saying there are no extra legroom seats available and then i requested A refund to which they refused to give me a refund or even a solution to the issue they cause. The customer service **** were rude incompetent and just outwardly disrespectful. This is the worst experience Ive ever had with an airline and I WANT MY MONEY BACKCustomer Answer

I am writing to file a complaint against Turkish Airlines concerning their handling of my lost baggage claim (#**********).Turkish Airlines lost my baggage, valued at over $3,000 in luggage and personal belongings. Since submitting my claim over a month ago, I have not received any updates on the investigation, nor has the compensation process begun. I have reached out twice to their customer service line at ************, specifically on October 29 and November 2, 2024. On my most recent call, a male representative answered around 5:40 PM Pacific Time. Unfortunately, he was unable to provide any assistance, lacked sufficient English proficiency, and dismissed my concerns without offering a timeline for a response.This prolonged lack of communication and inadequate customer support is unacceptable. On August 1st 2024, I received the worst news of my life as far that my ******************************************* a car accident. He lived in *******. My family and I decided to go to ******* to pay the last respect to his memory. Within a few hours, I looked for tickets to leave that same day so we could have made it for the funeral. I saw Turkish Airlines had a flight leaving that night at 8:30p. I completed all the steps on the Turkish Airline website and for 4 tickets (my parents, brother and I) it came out total of $3,641.2. I put my credit card information through ***** and as i was on my last step, hit submit and it loaded that the i had to repeat the trasections again as it did not go through. I repeated the same steps 4 times and each time, was getting the same error as the website was not working properly. The last one, the tickets were $7029.20 and it went through after going through multiple credit cards (rest assure, all credits cards had sufficient amount). When i went to the airport at *****, i was told that each one of us had two tickets each for the same flight as it was pur*****d twice; however, i did not know. I contacted Discover a week later that i needed a refund on the $7029.20 as it was a fault due to a website glitch. I contact Turkish Airlines as well and keep submitted "feedbacks" as per them and did not receive a response. Discover took about a month to go with them and they denied my request. I am still in process with Turkish Airlines and they keep pushing my case. I was even once told my a Turkish airline representative that I should not gotten charged double the amount of the tickets if its due to a website glitch. I already paid my bill with ***** for $3,641 and Turkish Airlines is making me pay twice for the same tickets. Due to my family emergency, they are trying to take advantage of their customers and want to charge twice.
