My phone was damaged in-flight by a short circuited TV system that short-circuited my phone in turn because it was connected to the charging port. Im on my return flight on Turkish airlines from ******** to ********. I plug in my phone after the flight attendants indicated it was okay to do so after I while I noticed that my phone stopped working and the screen was glitching pixelated pictures on and off. It would also make a weird woop noise when you tried to press the buttons. I immediately notified the flight attendants that there was something wrong with my phone. The chief collected a report and told me someone would be in touch for reimbursement. My numerous complaint numbers and attempts to contact the merchant are listed here: ***********, **********, ** ************, not including the feedback form I filled out in flight which I have screenshots of. I have videos of the damage as well as reported the damage in flight to flight attendants who I have their names. I still have yet to be contacted by the merchant and I want reimbursement for my inconvenience my lost pictures memories text messages everything was lost that day and I had to spend numerous months without a phone. I have a video of their non functioning machine as well but your form doesn't let me attach videos.Customer Answer

My husband and I booked the following flight.I did a reservation hold on a flight on Monday, August 12 BOOKING NUMBER ****** 06/30/2024 ****** to *********** (needed to be paid for in 2 days)In reading the email we received, if we didnt purchase the ticket by the due date 2 days later, the deposit/ reservation would be canceled. No mention in the email about no refund. Most airlines refund your money if the reservation is dropped/not completed.On Wednesday, August 14, I booked the flight. We decided to use a different credit card since we would earn miles on a card that also charged less interest. The website is not user friendly and gave me no option to change the credit card payment of the original reservation number. So I rebooked the flight, same flight, days, seats, with a different card. New booking number is ******* The $91.93 should have been applied. Ever since then I have been trying to get reimbursed for the $91.83 that we initially booked with was not refunded. I spoke with customer service when we didnt see a credit in September, and the gentleman did agree that since we completed the booking process, we would be eligible for a refund. When I still didnt see a credit on my credit card account, I was forced to go to the Feedback part of Turkish Airlines website and await a response as the customer service phone number was not willing to help me directly. They are unwilling to reimburse me, they are not understanding we did complete the reservation. It is a very strange process to have to click on a random link on their homepage. No one to contact you or speak with you on the phone. ******** customer service.I have contacted the corporate office and received no response. As a result we canceled our flight as I don't feel comfortable flying them. Now they are keeping $344.00 of our fare, which is against DOT policy on cancellations.We would like the $344.00 plus the original $91.83 reimbursed for a total of $435.83Customer Answer

I purchased my round-trip air ticket from ******* to ******** from Turkish Airlines. My ticket booking reference # is ****** and the e-ticket number is *************. For my Turkish Airlines flight TK26 on November 28th 2024, it was delayed by 5 hours 35 minutes by Turkish Airlines due to their operational issues, which were completely in Turkish Airlines control. Based on SHY-Passenger Regulation (the Article 8 - (1)) from *************************************, I should receive 600 euros compensation from Turkish Airlines. I filed feedback to Turkish Airlines to request this compensation (feedback #: TK-********). However, it was declined by Turkish Airlines without any legitimate reason. They completely ignored SHY-Passenger Regulation. I request Turkish Airlines to correct their wring decision and provide me the 600 euros compensation as per the SHY-Passenger Regulation by the *************************************.Customer Answer

I called Turkish and asked if I could add an infant to my reservation later. They told me yes. I purchased a round trip ticket for $1,435 from ******* ****** to *********, *******3 days before my flight, I called to add my infant. They said their computers werent working and to call back later.Later, I pulled up my reservation and saw they had added her. But with an incorrect DOB and misspelled name. The airline *** said I had to submit a feedback ticket to get it fixed.The day before I flew, I called again because it wasnt fixed. I called three different times. It was never fixed.I went to the airport to check in and they said the infant wasnt on the reservation. I showed them she was. They said she needed a ticket number. The airport *** spends 2+ hours on the phone with Turkish and I missed my flight.I spent hours on the phone with Turkish and almost missed my flight the next day.They finally charged me $412 for baby. But their computers werent working so I didnt get a ********** ********, they told me the infant wasnt on the reservation. I tried to explain and showed them the credit card receipt. They refused to accept it and charged me another $460 to fly. (Later, I was reimbursed the initial $412.)BUT, when I tried to fly back to ******, they told me my infant STILL wasnt on my reservation and wanted to charge me AGAIN. They also told me it was 10% of my ticket ($92.80) for baby for my return flight. I tried to call Turkish and ended up missing my flight again. I fought with them for two days, spending hours on the phone with Turkish, but to no avail. I finally just agreed to pay so I could go home. They then charged me $735 to change my ticket since Id missed my flight. When I got home to ******, I tried to call Turkish, but they told me Id need to submit feedback and wait for their response. I waited months. Finally, I submitted feedback again, and they responded no error was detected in the fee you have been charged for the infant.Customer Answer

My wife and I, are with a group of retiree's that travel. Of the many countries and airlines we have visited, our most recent trip was to *****. Turkish Airlines provided transport for my group, from *******, ******* to ********, ******, then to *****. Upon arriving in ********, we had to literally RUN to make the connecting flight to *****. Not the best requirement for a group of people in the 60's and 70's.However, upon our return flights, we had even LESS time to make our connecting flight to *******. Several of our group were forced to argue with the gate attendants and they had already closed the flight. Luckily, they were allowed to board The saddest part of this experience is one of our group was in a wheelchair. Turkish Air employees DID NOT get her to the gate on time thus SHE WAS LEFT IN *****, alone!!!The stress of being ALONE, in a strange country, as well as flying home on a later flight, ALONE was too much for our companion. She passed away from a heart attack after landing in ********I should also mention the toilets on the planes were deplorable and nasty. The food was tasteless and the flight attendants were rude.I NEVER got the onboard wifi to work and the attendant I asked for help was clueless and did not care.We have flown MANY different airlines but will NEVER fly Turkish Airlines again. We paid our hard earned money for a miserable experience not to mention losing a fellow ************ wife and I, along with ALL members of our group, will NEVER fly or recommend Turkish Airlines again.The short version is we do not feel that we should pay for such an experience.Customer Answer

My flight through Turkish Airlines from *** (************* to ******, ***** via ******** aiport) was delayed and hence, my luggage was left in ******** during transit. I submitted a delay baggage reimbursement which was approved. They asked for details about bank account and I've provided that. They say payment has been posted, but they are not giving helpful response on whether it was actually sent as I have not received it. I'm going around in circles. When I message them on their website, they say they will get back to me, but they dont. I tried the same through X(*******) and they say someone will reach out to me, but ***** does.Customer Answer

Denied boarding an hour before flight departure. Agent promised me to put me in the next flight 9:20 pm 12/7/2024 and walked back on her promise and as a result I could not fly and I need help to resolve my issue so I would not lost my ticket. Turkish has just started flights from ******. I want to warn everyone of their tactics. They provide a wonderful business class product! But watch out if you have problems.Due to a mix up on a connecting turkish flight I was late for check in.They made me buy a new ticket. Yet it did not stop there. They charged my credit card for 4 other charges totaling $885 for unexplained fees. This in addition to $589 for a new ticket. Calls to customer service only told me to fill out a feedback formWhen I did that an a 1 generated response said no refund due there is no way to reply to theirfeedback form. You must file a new one. I did that twice and received the same no refund response. There is no one you can talk to about your problem. I contacted the better business bureau.They said they have an FRating with thousands of similar complaints. None are ever settled!I am at ******** to try to settle this. Can you help me?People should know this when traveling with them . If they do this to someone who paid $6000 for a business class ticket, I shudder to think what they would do to an ordinary traveler . Had a flight from ********* to ******* via Turkish Airlines on Nov. 19th 2024 - specifically 2 legs - ********* to ******** + ******** to *******. The airline changed the ******** to ******* leg in October, to Nov. 20th. I let them know that it wouldn't work for me (in Oct. itself), and I require a refund. While I was working with them on processing the refund, they stopped responding to my emails or additional feedback requests - despite me trying to reach out via the call center or the airport office. I am just looking for a one flight refund from a multi-billion $ airline. So frustrating.
