      If I could give this company a 1 star I would. Had surgery and tried for two months to get a flight credit with all of the documentation they wanted from my surgeon, and every time I called, my claim was in process. No manager to speak to and no credit given.

      Do not travel with Turkish airline. They are always late and wont give you any compensation for the delay. All my 4 flights were late and their excuse for all of them is out of their hands. Worst airline. Save your time and money. Go to a big airline. I had to stay in the airport for more than 9 hours because. I was late for work. My bags were late and I had a wedding and all my clothes were in the bags. They dont speak English and dont care about customers time. Do not travel with them

      Turkish Airlines charged me for the ticket even though I thought it did not go through on my credit card. It seems the website went through and I thought it was canceled. They refused to refund the ticket price. Do not deal with this company. They are Foreign and do not follow American laws nor do they have good customer service!

      My experience with Turkish Airlines turned into a harrowing ordeal. I bought a round-trip ticket from IST to TIV in June 2023, only for it to be canceled by Turkish Airlines on the same day, without any prior notification. This unexpected action left a family member stranded in a foreign land, grappling with language barriers.Turkish Airlines, rather than assisting, resorted to denial and indifference. Despite their claims of a refund, none was forthcoming.With no other option, I purchased two replacement tickets at a premium price. Turkish Airlines disregarded this added expense, offering no compensation.Thanks to the intervention of ***** Fargo, I finally received a refund for the original ticket. However, the silence from Turkish Airlines regarding their role in this chaos was disconcerting.This ordeal revealed an unsettling truth about Turkish Airlines: they can disappoint and abandon you when needed most. Remember this cautionary tale before entrusting your travel plans to them.

      My daughter flew overseas via United Airlines. Her flight was delayed by 2.5 hours. Because of the delay, we had revise her itinerary beyond the first leg of the trip because she will miss the next connection and so on. Also, United overbooked the first leg of the flight, so the flight was extremely full. As a result they made her check her carry on containing clothing & personal items that she needs for her 2 months stay overseas. She flew from *************** ******* to ****** Airport (United flight #****), connecting with Lot Airlines to ****** ****** (flight #Lo16) from ******, I flew on flight #L5377 to *********, *******. From *******, then I flew on Turkish Airlines flight #Tk1594 to ********, ******. From ********, I flew to Amalty, ********** on flight #TK352 arriving on 6/15/2023.Upon arrival at the final destination, she tracked luggages and they showed that they were still at the **************. The final destination airline, Turkish Airline staff refused to help her because they are unable to track the bags. I contacted United several times. I spoke with a number of supervisors, but they refused to help us to get the bags to my daughter at her temporary home overseas. Although Turkish Airlines claims that they are not the final destination airline, they somehow had the authority to ***** one of the luggages to me in ***************, ** instead of shipping to my daughter in **********. Shes there for a summer language course for 2 months. Overall, both airlines keep shifting responsibilities to the other. Leaving us the consumer with very little choice or recourse or accountability.

      My wife had confused the date of departure of April 28, 2023 with the next day departure of April 29, 2023 and then ended up missing her flight. She has realized that six hours prior to the next day flight departure time using ***/ ************************************. Her flight is from ************** to ******, ******* and had booked this flight almost two months earlier. So as panicky as we were and confused we had to call the Turkish Airlines so we could rectify the situation so we don't miss the next day flight. We were told to have to pay a penalty of $270 plus the difference in ticket price fee for a total of a whopping $1327.00. As panicky and confused and nervous not to miss this next flight with same timing because we were already packed up and ready to leave for airport, we accepted this outrageous charge thinking that the difference in ticket price as they claimed was indeed just over a thousand dollars. After the airlines booked ** for this next flight we realized that the difference in ticket price was only around 100 dollars and not just over a thousand as they claimed it to be. We tried calling both the airlines as well as the credit card to point out this huge injustice in trying to recoup this $1000 but to no avail unfortunately. Can the Better Business Bureau help us in this situation? We truly believe that this is a huge scam to s**** flyers dwelling on their on their fear and panic and utilizing it to pass their ugly rip off. Please anybody help us!

      Would choose negative stars if I could. Used to love Turkish Airlines but not anymore. These days, they have adopted highly unethical business practices and a subpar product. Completely arbitrary change fees, which we disputed and amex found in our favor for half the fees. As a result, they suspended / cancelled our tickets without telling us, forcing us to purchase last minute segments, for 3x the price, at the gate so as to not ruin our honeymoon further. There are numerous other cases on other sites of having tickets arbitrarily suspended without notice. Their ****** manager *********************** was highly unprofessional, refused to help one bit, and tried to convince us it was our own fault. Fly this airline *at your own risk* You will not be able to make changes, receive refunds or do any customer service action of any value through the phone with them and you're forced to communicate through an antiquated online feedback form, designed to frustrate customers and force them to quit (there is no record of previous discussions, new agents each message, 5 day replies) Think you can get an issue resolves in person? think again -- in any airport, including in ********, there is not one person that has authority to issue flight changes, credits or refunds. You have to keep fighting through the feedback form and hoping that your message gets routed to the right corporate department. Flying this airline is absolutely not worth it anymore. The planes are old, the food is a LOT worse than it used to be, the prices are high - and if you have any service issue whatsoever, you will waste many hours, if not weeks or months of aggravation. For those that are having issues - know your rights, carefully review the below documents and present them to Turkish and your local authorities where possible. ********************************************** and ****************************************************************************************

      I had to cancel my flight due to a non sence Turkish *************** in Airport that did not let me out of ****** without getting update on my **** and my status.I contacted the customer service and they placed my ticket on the open date status. Asked me to open the feedback and submit all the necessary documentation to the feedback.I have submitted my tickets , Ticket numbers , cancellation, new flight tickets that weve got in 3 business day again . I submitted all of the requirements and received the auto reply of "sorry , you have to fly to ******** in One year , we were 3 people (3 tickets cancelled) , otherwise i need to file another request to get some refuds. I have not seen or dealt with such a poor customer service in my life. I ended up opening alot of feedbacks and spending hours on the call with the Turkish airlines representatives (starting from scratch with each call). The worst customer service. Nothing is resolved to this date, flight was in Aug 2021 and now is Jan 2023. ended up buying the ticket myself asking for a refund. The latest feedback TK- ******* hasn't been resolved and no one got back to me yet.They still want me to submit another feedback tickets!!! Duh !

      We got emergency call from ******* our mom passed away. We call Turkish airlines ask tickets prices they told me ticket prices too high I ask we have Bereavement is there any help They say no I buy tickets prices was double I had no chance I pay After my travel I sent msg to Turkish airlines company costumer service complain proof everything this is the answer I get

      I had a flight from *** to *** with 12 hours layover in ******** while I was at IKA a Turkish Airline representative approached ** and told us they overbooked the flight and asked me to change my flight and in return they would upgrade both of my flights to business he said once you land in ******** another representative will help you to do the upgrade I agreed since it sounds legit once I arrived in ******** nobody was aware of this and basically the guy lied to me to make me change my flight and when I asked them to reach out to the person who made this arrangement they refused then they offered me legroom seat for my second flight to compensate my inconvenience and I accepted that but when I got into the airplane I figured out they lied again and it was a normal seat.
