      This provider was previously called Suddenlink, or as I called them Not-so-Suddenlink, and over time their charges increased while their services decreased.Cancelling service was also a headache. ***** this company if you can.

      I don't know how this company is still in business. Their false advertising gave me a price for mobile service and phone. At the very end of the transaction it stated that there will be a $20 surcharge for customers who don't have internet through them. I called immediately to cancel, but nobody could help me for the first two days because my new account wasn't processed yet. Finally got through and then they said they can't help me until I receive the new phone that I've been trying to prevent being sent. They are doing everything they possibly can to squeeze as much money as they can get. I'll be paying at least $200 to cancel a service I've never even used. **************** is snarky and rude, but I can't imagine how they are treated by their employers. They couldn't email an agreement or terms but told me to "screenshot our conversation". They were clearly reading from a script saying "as of today, you won't be charged a surcharge" whereas I talked to someone else saying I would in two business cycles. They want no paper trail coming back to them and they don't have a contract so they can ******* you as they please. It is absolutely disgusting that this company exists.

      I have never been so disappointed in the lack of ethics and service to customers as I am with ********************. I was without service for 5 months and continued to pay my bill on time every month as they tried to fix the issue. The issue was never resolved. I requested for my money to be returned to me since I did not receive the services that I paid for during that timeframe. Not only did I never receive a refund, but they will not even return a call once it has been escalated. This company should be shut down. They DO NOT care about their customers and use the monopoly of the industry to continue to profit off of their lack of services. DO NOT USE!!!

      The Optimum phone customer service I just received for inquiring about why my internet bill increased was just awful. Not even half a star worthy system make you click a star.I have a balance e due which I told the *** I would pay on Friday when I get paid. I work in education which we all know gets paid only once a month and mine is at the end of the month. Anyway the *** tells me he could lower the bill once the bill is paid. I ask to how much it would be he said he couldnt tell me at the moment, the bill need to be paid first. Mighty funny you can tell mew people how much your internet tiers are, but anyway. I say okay I will call back on Friday when I get paid. He then refuses to accept the answer and starts repeated asking me to make the payment. I told him more than twice I would call back on Friday when I get paid to make the payment. Had to hang up on him. I will be looking for a new service provider this week.

      Ive had a frustrating experience with Optimum. My account was canceled and upgraded without my consent, leading to higher costs and unnecessary fees. Recently, my service was canceled by another person in the same building, raising serious security concerns. **************** was unhelpful in resolving these issues. Optimum needs to improve transparency, security protocols, and support to rebuild trust with customers.

      i have made numerous calls to optimum to try to get my bill reasonable for my particular income. on Nov ******* i was offered a plan that i thought was a good. in order to dot his particular plan i had to include optimum mobile for a discount. the plan included a free ******* a15 cellphone. 1gig internet, value tv with family and movie channels addons totaling $120 a month. i was assured that this was not a promotion and the bill would remain the same as long as i had these items. fast forward to today, i have not received the cellphone and i have called optimum several times with several different excuses. Also today i received a bill for cellphone services yet i do not have a cellphone from optimum. with this being a separate bill from the rest of my account the amount to pay will be more than what they offered. I am having a most difficult time getting this issued resolved

      Story time !Ive been having packet loss and random drops of internet to the point where streaming, gaming, or just doing basic work is undoable.1st tech I called for an 8am-11am Window showed up 2 hours late I ignored them fully.2nd tech on 11/19 speaks only spanish I cant even begin to explain my frustrations with this because I cant explain my issue.turns out he was decent he understood the coax cables are old as s*** in my building said he would get a *** to come and check it out.I follow up the next day to see if anything was confirmed turns out he never made the request. can you believe that hahaha I hop on chat support because I notice my bill raised another $80 and the *** cant even begin to explain to me why this has happened all he was able to say he couldnt revert it and "thats crazy"OPTIMUM IS BY FAR THE MOST USELESS COMPANY EVER, I HOPE THEY SHUT DOWN AT SOME POINT WHILE I AM ALIVE.

      On October 4, 2024 I returned to cable boxes and cancelled one of my telephone lines. Despite having multiple calls (over several hours) with their customer service they continue to include the returned cable boxes and phone line on my monthly invoices - 2 months later they refuse to correct the bill and issue the credits that were promised. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. Horrible business practices, taking advantage of consumers.

      Dont do it they have false advertisments what they show is not what they will charge you.And charge you a 150 install fee and dont tell you that its that price. Upon sign up it said 25, and packages are showing one price and they bill you a diffrant price
