      I recently found a different provider for my internet. I told ******* to turn off my internet because I no longer needed them they shut off the service one day on 10/15/2024. Then turned out back on on 10/16/2024. I called and asked them why it was still on and the woman I spoke with told me it was no longer active. My services were still on the day the new provider came so I reached out again and they told me I no longer had service with them. My services were still active. I went to the local store here in ********, OK *****. The man said that they will be billing me for the entire month. An entire month for 1 week of service? This seems the very least illegal. I will be reaching out to a lawyer about this.

      ZERO stars. This company owns Optimum, who has a monopoly in the area I live in. On top of near constant outages, the internet access in my home disconnects approximately every five to ten minutes. It is impossible for anyone to work from home, or for children to do their homework. It is almost impossible to reach a human for customer service, the help chat disconnects along with the internet, and they refuse to give service credits because the length of disconnection does not meet their terms. I have recently begged them to cancel my subscription because I am bleeding money to pay for a service that doesnt work. I can go to the library two days a week for free if thats how often Im going to have internet. Not only did they refuse to cancel my account, the customer *** told me my problem was fixed when that days outage was. Its not. At this point I dont know what to do. They just keep taking my money and I get to use wifi two minutes at a time.

      On the phone with them right now worst company ever dealing with they just kept putting me on hold they would not easily let me disconnect my service. I'm so frustrated I looked up BBB so I could report them. Reading the reviews I now know they ****. They need to be put out of business. Ridiculous.

      I don't know my true opinion about this company, but the tech that came ***** ***** text id *****, he did an amazing job and he fixed our issue that kept putting off, thank you ***** *****!!!

      After years of subpar service, I finally tried to cancel and had an agent that wouldn't let me cancel my service. It was incredible. In my 70 years on this planet, I have never experienced a call like this. He was argumentative with me and refused to cancel my service. It was unbelievably unprofessional. I had to call back later to cancel. I am glad to be free.On 10/15/2024, the same thing happened to me, not with just 1 rep, but several. I kept asking to speak with a supervisor but was told there are not any. Then, I was asked to pay my bill over the phone with them using my routing and account number for my checking account. This is the most miserable place I have ever had to deal with. They said the service could not be cancelled without doing so.

      ZERO STARS!!! Looks like quite a few people are having a bad experience with optimum. Why are they still allowed to operate in the ************************** area?Optimum should not be allowed to operate business here. Lets get rid of them and bring in a company that is genuine. Rates are all over the place, they continually increase the bill month-to-month. You have to call anytime theres a rate change and speak with somebody who says that they will lower your bill only to have the next month bill be higher. Which means you have to call yet again. This is insanity. We are looking to get rid of this company for our home, and do wish that the ************************** area had more options to choose from for internet.

      This is the worst company I have ever encountered. The wait to get a hold of someone is interminable. They took money directly out of my account for failing to return the equipment. I had no emails or instructions from them to do so and was very busy with my move. Once I returned their box, I've had to contact them several times to get my money credited back after months and countless hours on hold to get my money refunded. And I still have not received it back. Next stop is the ***.

      Something fraud or scam is going on with optimum mobile. I am trying to cancel the service but they keep giving reasons to not able to cancel. Do not fall for the scam do not signup for the this service for any discounts they are *********** has been a nightmare to try to cancel the service and have lost lots of time taking to these people. Not sure what else can I do.

      Since Optimum took over, service has only gotten worse. I pay for a gig and lucky to get 300 mb. They change your bill without telling you and then add a partial month onto your bill.nothing about this company is customer friendly.they deserve no stars.

      I contacted optimum about my internet being out and one of their lines being down in my backyard. A technician comes out, says the line down is the reason for the internet being out and that they well sent someone of in a couple of days to fix. So I felt they were lying so I contacted customer service to see if a work order had been put in and of course it had not been, the *** the told me they would escalate my ***ort and I would hear in 24 to ******************************************************************* it will be another 24 hours to just get a update not even a ***air when they know what the problem is. Total incompetence!!
