      Current phone call to cancel service is 17 mins long. I have been transferred once and put on hold 4 times now. I have been made 4 counter offers not to cancel. It's no wonder there is no online option to cancel. They do everything they can to frustrate you with the hope that you give up. I cannot be more polite in my request to cancel. Also, if they could lower my bill and upgrade my service in the snap of a finger like the many counter offers prove, then it begs the question why they don't just do it before the cancellation request is made. It's clearly a game and their tactics to prevent cancellation should be investigated.

      I am VERY dissatisfied with Optimum and their PRICE GAUGING. My bill keeps going UP for the SAME services. From January, 2024 to June, 2024, my bill went up $89.45 - NO NEW services added, so I don't understand WHY ????? the price keeps INCREASING ??? Actually, there was a "change" made to my service (without my knowledge). I have a landline phone, but have NO ACCESS to listening to my voicemails - when I tried listening to them, I got the message "you have dialed a feature not on your line". But yet, I am being charged $15.00 a month for "phone services". SHAME ON YOU for taking advantage of your customers... or soon to be FORMER customers.

      Avoid Altice at all cost. Vexus came in town decreased the cost of service. Altice is unethical in our conversation. Im requesting that they brought before Congress for creating a difficult environment to cancel.

      Optimum took over and they did not make improvements. I have lived in my house a year and a half now and have had three different modems because they let line run hot rather than fix it and made up a lie why they had to leave it that way. Now for the last three weeks I have had to call probably twenty times because the Wi-Fi does not stay consistently on. They send me their top of the line gateway(modem with built in router) because their equipment flip flops between 5Ghz and 2.4ghz. Most smart home products run on 2.4ghz. In fact everything will work on it except 5k tvs. I complained because their equipment flipped so much it was messing up connection to my smart home equipment. The BIGGEST REASON I need internet to be consistent is so I can make calls in the event of a medical emergency. I have many health issues and live where I can only get cell svs in one spot of the house. Which is why I need wifi to work consistently for calls. It is ridiculous to have to call a place this many times. They dont see to care that their hot line ***** up their equipment or that their customer is ready to pay more for less just to get good, reliable service. Yes their prices are good for the amount of mbps. The people in call center are nice and try. The company and people who decide what is important to fix, well, you can guess how I feel about them.

      This is a horrible company with horrible customer service. My 70 year old mother called to see if any discounts were available for her cable bill and got tricked into signing up for a cellphone plan with 1GB OF DATA PER MONTH! Which anyone under 65 would know is ridiculous. My mother attempted to cancel the plan multiple times and was told she could not do so. I had to call for 3 straight days in order to finally get the plan canceled and they refused to take the "free" phone they offered my mother and stated they would bill her the $183 balance. Moral of the story NEVER sign up for any Optimum/Altice service! THEY'RE SCAMMERS!

      Horrible cable service! Getting charged $170 for crappy cable service.Dvr doesn't work, outages all the time. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!************

      This company is a scammer. About 6 months ago they tricked me into signing up for a $13 cell phone plan and every month they kept raising the price until it reached $27. That's when I decided to cut the service. Now they are charging me for a service I didn't use and it's already at $47. I've been cutting the service for two months. Can you help me? They want to send my bill to collections.

      I was a customer with ******************** (previously Suddenlink) for our internet service for many years. Service was somewhat questionable but basically our only internet option locally. My poor review is based on the unethical billing practice. When our contract expired for the lower rate and they were raising our rate we discontinued our service on the 24th of the month. The customer service representative said that our billing cycle started on the 20th of the month so we would get billed for the coming month, but would receive a credit based at the next billing based on only using the 4 day period. We also received an email the following month saying sorry to see us go and our next bill would be coming (implying the credit). When we did not get the credit back in a timely manner we contacted them. The customer service representative this time said that there was no credit due. They indicated that to have avoided the additional months payment we would have had to notify them 7 days before the 20th!!!. This was before they even notified us of our rate increase. This is fraud plan and simple.

      ZERO STARS.This company should not be in business. They have scripted lies that they shovel down customers throats. They are completely unreliable and not worth a *****. It is a shame that they are still in business. We are in process of switching companies but in a small town, it takes more time than it should. In 2024, consumers should have better options than this. I dont even know how they are held accountable with so few options. What an absolute shame that we (humans) created such a system and continue to let it take advantage of us. This company needs to go by the wayside to make room for an improved future.

      Service *****. Only service available in my area though. Doubled my bill without warning and disconnected my internet because I 'owed' them for this new price that I was unaware of. I called customer service to rectify it; they told me I had to visit the in-person store. Visited the in-person store; they told me only customer service on the phone could help me. Now I am going to have this fraudulent debt attached to me when I move and cancel my account. THEY ARE A SCAM!
