      They out right lie about unlimited service on their mobile, unlimited expires within hours of paying your bill, then they say they'll extend it for another $6.00.so you pay it and they give you another few hours before they say it's expired again and if you want more it'll be another $6.00. Also if you are not on wifi, don't expect to be able to surf the web because there is no service. They are the worst move service I've ever encountered

      HORRIBLE SERVICE. HORRIBLE, RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL customer service representatives. I could not get her to resolve my issure. Rather she chose to speak to me like I was her child.

      I have been a customer 5 years and recently I was a little late on my bill how very I was late for this same time ********** but still had time to pay th y remov d my cabl but k pt Internet and when I ask d they told me it was removed because the *** program ended and it was a lie they told me I can get th service back after paying past due which I did then they lied saying they no longer offer the Internet speed or the cable boxes so I would have to change them but said they can still offer th *** promotion and credits after switching and getting the upgrade of internet I was up charged tremendously this was such a huge disappointment and lie and I need the Internet for my son which I ended up having to get basic cable with their lowest speed I can take for internet. They had no promo to give me or ongoing credits as promised. The whole situation ****** me off. I will be switching companies.

      Install looks questionable and there are stripped wires, not to mention their WiFi isnt secure.

      Optimum sent and ad to my mailbox stating that if I enrolled in the $100 complete deal that an iPhone 15 would be "on them". After talking to a representative come to find out that the iPhone would be an extra charge. After asking the agent what does on you mean he said it doesn't mean free. I asked him if someone took you to dinner and said it on them what does that mean. He kept side stepping that question. Horrible and misleading advertising. I'm currently filling a complaint with the BBB.

      Absolutely horrible customer service! On 6/26/24 my cable/internet/ phone went out. When I realized it was just me, I contacted Optimum first thing the morning of 6/27/24 because I need internet since I work remote. A tech was scheduled for 6/28/24 from 2-5pm. They were no call no show. I contacted Optimum and they said as a courtesy please give them 2 more hrs. 45 minutes later I got a text it was rescheduled to 7/1/24 between 2-5pm. I saw the tech show up, get out of his car, go to the side of my house and then get in his truck and leave. Again I called Optimum and they said it was rescheduled to 7/1/24 between 5-8pm. They were no call no show. It was rescheduled to 7/2/24. Again, no call no show. It was rescheduled to 7/3/24. The guy shows up and the entire cable to my house was gone. Apparently the local police contacted Optimum on 6/27/24 to tell them the cable was laying in the road and they did nothing! I had to use 41 hours of annual leave and called and texted upwards of 20 times. I got a $15 credit to my account for my trouble. Optimum is a horrible company and the contracted repair workers who were lying about the circumstances of each visit should be fired.

      I receive internet service via my Lease and pay my leasing company for it, handled in a Bulk contract through my leasing company. The bundle included in the service switched on May 1 and I returned the equipment that needed to be returned, plus had the new equipment installed. Optimum then incorrectly charged me diorectly and withdrew $265 from my bank account. I've spent numerous hours with them on the phone, trying to get a refund, as I pay my service through my lease and have no direct business with them. I have been told, managers would call me, tickets had been opened, but to no avail. Complete dis-service, and one hand does not know what the other does. Would never recommend this company to anyone who had any other option.

      I do not understand how this company is allowed to be a thing! They ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST! I can't decide if the service they provide or their customer service is the worst. They are simply awful! If they are saying anything, it is a lie. They will raise your bill without notice and for no reason regularly and out of the blue. We have never paid one bill late and our bill has gone up over $100 over the last 5 years. It is ridiculous but they do not care because they know we don't have any other providers in our area yet. **** my words, the SECOND another provider is available to us, I will be switching and NEVER looking back! Altice/Suddenlink/Optimum, you are not worthy of being called a business. You are scamming monopoly and should be ashamed of yourselves! I wish there was a way to put you out of business because NO ONE deserves to be treated the way you treat your customers and rob them blind! AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!

      Service down over a week. Terrible communication for when it will be fixed.
