      Forget about all those ads that they gave you and instead they will put a charge for something that you did not buy they don't even give you the gift card to help you pay for it they are imposters they should not be anywhere here they probably have scammed over thousands of people or even Millions please take them off of business

      I cancelled my account with Optimum on Sept,9 2021. at their store. No one mentioned the policy on cancellations. I was charged the whole month $328.74. I thought using the service for 9 days I sent a check for $125.00. They were not satisfied and gave it to a collection agency. I contacted the ************** ************** Comm. asked they to look into it. They told me Optimum would contact me. They gave me a *** answer and would not do anything. In their reply they stated the billing service started on the 9th. If I was aware of their policy which is printed on the back of the **** in small print I would have handed the equipment on the 8th. As a senior citizen and a veteran I think this company is very unfair.

      Horrible service. As a customer who pays them every month, they are so inconsiderate to not offer an extension 3 days out for me to make a payment due to my hardship. Mis information when you speak to someone through chat confirming it can be done and then another person saying it cannot. You cant speak to a live person. If you can find another service do it.

      I have been trying to get my wifi service working correctly for 1 year. I have switched modems, service etc. Basically everything that has been suggested. Myself and my husband have had them to do repairs at our house they told us it was a Problem with ****. **** came and told us told us it was optimum that did not update update their equipment on I mean on the outside polls. Optimum informed us that that wasn't the case so for the last 8 months unce we have been trying to rectify this problem. We have both been on the phone for hours at a time. We recently were switching our service to fiber optic baropic hoping that it would improve or fix our issues. When calling today to try to rectify this ongoing problem I was told told that I had to wait Until my service was upgraded because it because it required a service call And if they fixed the issue now that would cause a problem with them upgrading my service. So basically they're telling me that I need to wait one week in order to have phone service and Wi-Fi. I asked to speak to somebody and either retention or a supervisor and I was told I couldn't. I would have to wait 24 to ************************************* back. Absolutely ridiculous and insulting.

      Last week my cable went out on four consecutive days from late morning to late afternoon and sometimes mid-evening. I lost TV, landline phone and computer network access as did my neighbors.

      I was told that a technical technician would be at my address to install service but when he did come he was rude and left without returning was told by Optimum that another technician would come but never showed spoke to a manager who simply did nothing now I am waiting for service to be rendered 3 days later I feel that this is unacceptable especially when you paying high prices for cable on time to the ***** and the service *****

      worst company by far of any company in the world regardless of category. suddenlink/optimum is a flat out SCAM. 100%. there the only provider in the area capable of high speeds so your forced to use them. i've been paying for speeds i've NEVER gotten. HORRIBLE customer service. no issues EVER resolved. SOMEBODY has to stop this nonsense.

      For the whole month of July I didnt have any service. Finally on August 6th 2022 they got it back on! How?, a box outside on the pole. Butttt, they want me to pay 184$ for service I didnt have and then just gave me 40$ off my ****, then I look at the **** and only 20$ has been taken off. Im thinking maybe to changing to ****** ***
