      Worst company ever. My wife broke her back. We were behind. Called them told them when we would pay it. Said ok we will stop hard disconnect. Paid it today like we told them and guess what its still disconnected. And come to find out the person who identified themselves as an agent from the collection department really wasnt from that department at all. And now they refuse to come turn it back on. Dont do business with them they dont care about you or your family unless your wealthy and donate to their company. S**** mediacom

      Please take note this coverage is horrible. Also found out I was being charged a Xtream Xpert Tech Advisor charge 9.99 a month, which they apparently applied first 3 months of it free. They do not communicate this. They state its used for support if you have issues with your computer or phone, cant screenshot something or need help with your computer printing. None of which have anything to do with WiFi or internet. I tried to get my charges back and they wouldnt. They would only stop the charge going forward.

      Literally, the worst service Ive have ever had. Service is always going in an out with no solution other than continuing to give you a new router that is as crappy as the last one they gave you previously. If your service is ever suspended youll be asked to pay a large amount including every fee you can think of only to have to wait almost a week for a technician to come and cut your services back on.

      They have awful service, they keep raising their prices, and the service doesn't improve, how can they stay in business when they give subpar service. I have connection issues nearly everyday, but they second I call Its just magically fixed, it's like they want you to call, so they can charge you more and a service fee when they didn't even do anything. They should be taken out of business.

      This is the worst company Ive ever had to deal with. Day after Christmas, Mediacom comes out to repair my neighbors Internet. To do so, they CUT our line, and left it in our yard. Someone else comes out the next day to replace our line. Now, my yard will have to be dug up for this line to be buried, which, according to them may take up to six months. The tech that replaces our line tells us there are less than half the amount of ports we need for our road for the number of customers. The first service rep we talked to about this glazes over everything and says shell put in a request to credit for us. We receive an $80 credit. My bill is 125 a month - $30 of that is a speed upgrade that we have been paying for years and apparently never been getting. The second tells me credits can only go back three months, and that it is my fault I havent been paying attention to the speeds and reporting issues. I could have called and reported Internet issues every single day this past month but Im not that person. They dont keep billing statements past 12 months or do credits past three months, and yet they can tell me the date of every service Call that Ive made. This person continues to mansplain to me why this is my fault and that my modem is old which contributes to not getting high speeds and that to think I would get credited past the three months is obviously insane. Apparently, they have no quality assurance - that is completely the responsibility of the customer.

      Mediacom is very sheisty I have been having problems with my internet signal being weak for over a year. They have a monopoly of internet in ******* and so they charge over $100 for internet that does not provide what they advertise. I am very frustrated with this I have had service come out and change my modem numerous times. They have changed the wires in my home. They have dug up the wires outside my home and still the same issue. The agent of phone refused to give me corporate number. They have not given me credit over a day or two. They are offering me two weeks credit now while I have been a paying customer for over ******. No one has been noting my complaints. I asked to have my complaints noted today, not sure if she did so because many reps have told me this and yet no change. I want the problem fixed. I do not want anymore Im sorry. At this point I believe I deserve a years worth of free internet service. Due to the many dropped calls, interrupted business on computer, documents lost because when I push save lost internet connection. Emails I thought were sent but werent because of interrupted internet service. Interrupted video calls to loved ones whom I am not always able to visit etc.. Why are consumers treated so poorly and yet service prices continue INCREASING!!!

      Mediacom installed router and didn't finish setting it up. Mediacom also gave me hidden fees, won't let me cancel my auto payments, and I can't adjust settings without knowing a 4 digit code sent via mail. If you have any other option don't use mediacom.

      My cable went out One of the gentleman on the phone told me it was outside work, and it would be fixed in a couple of hours. Everyone else was having issues.I called back in a couple hours, and that was not true. They are sending someone out tomorrow. So the first guy lied to me. For that reason, I am going to start looking for another company. Thank you, Mediacom.I told them I had Covid and theyre sending someone anyway??????First, they lied to me Second theyre sending an employee when I told him I had *****

      They price ***** because in many places they have no competitor. The service itself is not always stable, consistent or reliable. The only reason they received 1 star was because it is required to comment.
