      I attempted to cancel my service, and they told me to be available on a Sunday from 8 am to 8 pm. I told them thats a ridiculous window, but they insisted and told me someone would contact me that day to give me a smaller window. Waited till, I believe, 6 pm and contacted them, and they told me that they will actually appear sometime within the next two weeks, starting at 8 am that Sunday. No one appeared in the next two weeks and I was charged for another month of Wi-Fi. My Wi-Fi stopped working in my house and thats why I was trying to get it turned off, because I had all these other issues leading up to it. They continued to charge me for the month I didnt have wifi the full month, and charged me for the following month after my Wi-Fi was supposed to be turned off, and no one appeared, and then sent me to collections and call me to knock 50% off of what I owe them, even though my service was supposed to be canceled! They give me the run around now, that it wasnt scheduled to be turned off till the day it actually was, when that wasnt obviously the case. Long story short: took about a month to turn off my Wi-Fi when it did not work, charged me, and then sent me to collections.

      They will work with private investigators by letting them come inside your house by switching drivers they'll copy your internet information and sell it to a private investigator try to get you kicked off disability

      Been loyal customer for years **** went up with internet to almost $300 mo, I finally called thier retention **** to see if they could go back and offer me a lower price, nope no offer so ill be searching for alternatives for sure, n9thing for loyalty

      Worst customer service ever! We have been having the same internet/TV issue for almost a month now and have been reporting it almost everyday. They keep sending technicians who have been reporting to their maintenance the same problem - intermittent speed, so unreliable! The problem still exists and they need to figure out what's causing this. Until now, we do not have any clear answer if this problem is going to be resolved. I work from home & this has already caused me so mych stress & frustration. We have been paying for a high speed internet that doesn't even work.

      Mediacom is crap! **** goes up and up, and the service gets worse. Always having connection issues at all hours. Switching services due to lack of service and customer service

      4 days in a row my internet cuts out randomly for 5, 10, sometimes 30 minutes. No warning. I'm a gamer, this kind of stuff gets you banned from your favorite games. On top of that my bill randomly went from 80 a month to 230. Will be switching providers asap.

      Worst internet provider I have felt with. In my area they were the only provider for about 3yrs of living there as soon as other options came around I jumped on it. But when disconnecting my service I spent multiple hours on the phone with with customer service to disconnect it and thought it was said and done. Well 2 months later I received a call from a debt collector saying I owed money to mediacom for the months I wasnt using the service so I called the office and they said they had discontinued my service but turned it back on 2 weeks later and they said it was a mistake but I would still have to pay $82 out of the $350 bill I caved and payed it. Fast forward another month I get another call from a debt collector saying I owed another $135 to mediacom which I am still in an ongoing fight with them about. Long story short do not choose Mediacom if you have another option.

      I have been enrolled in Autopay for 6 months. 4 out of 6 months the autopay failed to work and they tried to charge me a $10 late fee. After numerous phone calls and lots of hold time I was refunded the late fee's. I question if this is a scam on the companies end to collect more money? The website does not show a history of payments and there is no communications by email when payments have been made or if their is a late payment. Their business model for customer service is extremely poor in my opinion.
