      Worst customer service possible! My poor mother was in hospice care and I reached out to explain to Media Com regarding when I could make a payment and circumstances. They did not care at all. Even though I had never been disconnected. Their coldness and cruelty are beyond words. I was just trying to do the right thing. And yes, life happens to us all, but apparently not to them.

      On June 14th I had Mediacom "installed" and before the tech left my driveway it cut off. He came back, changed out the modem, and left. Still no internet. Called customer support, but they could not get the internet up. Went to the office, and they gave me another modem (#3) and told me to go home and install it. Still no internet. I was told a tech would be out the next day, waited all day, and no show. I went back to the office and the manager said, " I give you my word, a tech will be out tomorrow. " Three days later no tech, no phone call so I canceled Mediacom and went in to return equipment. I was told that I could not get back the $110.00 installation fee. This is such a scam. The equipment was not installed because if it were, I would have had service. I'm notifying my credit card to see what can be done because this is so wrong.

      this company is awful,,,,I have had no tv service since June 13, 2023 and the earliest they can come and repair service is June 23, 2023

      A semi pulled my internet cable down this morning. I work from home, and was told the soonest they can repair the line is 06/22/2023. They should have at least one technician available for one off situations that arise. I called them three times today. One to report the issue. The second time because I got a text stating **** days for them to get here, but I was advised they would get it by 8:00pm today since I work from home. No show, so I placed a third call and was told I have to wait. They also wont let you talk to a supervisor.

      Mediacom was not upfront and honest with me concerning my service. When I asked them what my monthly bill would be they quoted me a price of $49.99, and my 1st months bill was exactly that. On my 2nd months bill there was an additional charge of $23.99 for individual services. I was NEVER informed of these charges! I dont understand why Mediacom would not have full disclosure concerning services and billing. Future customers BEWARE!!!

      This business decided to increase monthly charges by 50%, went from $55/** to $95/mo. Received the bill 2/24. Called 2/25, explained my family couldn't afford an internet bill this expensive. I went the next day, got on ***************** Unplugged mediacoms equipment 2/28, the final day of my month of service - internet service is paid IN ADVANCE. I returned their equipment 3/13 directly to their office. They still attempted to collect for February and again for March, claiming that even though I returned the equipment, I never told them to stop service. I never used the service, I didn't have the equipment, and should not be billed or sent to collections over a service I could not have used as I didn't have the equipment. It's insane to me that they're trying to take me to collections over a service I could not have used because the equipment had already been returned.

      Worst internet service Ive ever had. Internet will just randomly go down and youll wait 10+ days for a technician to help. I will never be using their service again. Not to mention every year they raise the price on your monthly bill. I went from paying $70/month to 2 years later paying $120/month for worthless service.

      Horrible and sarcastic customer service when I called asking questions regarding my bill. I set up auto pay in ***** 10. I also payed any outstanding balance at that time. They told me that auto pay would be ready by the time that my May bill came out which is the 23rd of each month. They then proceeded to charge me 10$ for March and 10$ for ***** for late fees that I still don't understand especially when I paid my bill both of those months and it is now May. On top of that they also charged me tax on a late fee!!! If I did not need internet service for my children whom are in school I would cancel but they are the only ones in my area that provide internet with enough gigs for all of my children to use while doing school work!

      Don't do a move with Mediacom if you value your sanity.In 2013 I did a "mover's deal" with Mediacom. I had service at my address, and paid a fee to activate service at a new address where I was moving. After paying the initial installation fee, thing got a little odd. My first bill showed up a couple weeks later showing two months balance and a late fee. I called in, and the representative told me it was just the initial billing from the new address and that if I paid it I would only receive a bill every month going forward as expected. About three weeks later I received another bill, which I just paid thinking this was getting things back on track. Soon, I received yet another bill. I called in and I was told to just go ahead and disregard it, as my bill was up to date.. wash rinse and repeat, and soon enough I was getting double billed again with "past due balances". Months went by with no resolution, and finally a representative told me that the service disconnect at my old address hadn't been processed correctly, and that I had been paying bills for both my old and new address.Years later, after having moved away from Mediacom's service area and then later returning to the area, I found myself in a situation where Mediacom was the only ISP available. I started up with them again on a fresh account, moved again after two years, and did another mover's deal with them... 15 days after the service went active at the new address their system "automatically applied a late fee" for a bill that wasn't yet due for 15 more days. I called in and I was told it was a glitch. I then received a bill with a totally different billing timeframe and a past due balance for the old address. A new ISP installed their service in the area, and I switched to them as soon as possible. Since cancelling service with Mediacom and paying them in full, I continue to receive bills that their supervisors tell me to "disregard".

      Negligent and unreliable. False advertising. Monopoly that does not care to reimburse customers for failure to provide a promised service. There should be a class action law suit against this corporation.
