      FRAUD. This business is the mastermind of deception. I was recommended a service plan based on my usage only to be charged a minimum of $1500 more than the less than $100 a month I was told it would be. I keep all my household bill money in one account and only knew of the overcharge because of the shortage in my account. When I reached out, Mediacom claimed they notified me anytime a charge would occur which was entirely false and never happened until I reached out at which point I received daily notifications that I was over my service when there was zero occupancy in the home for 6 months. Then I have to jump through see real hoops just to cancel the service because I work from 8-6. Unbelievable.

      Service is horrible then they have a technician working on a box outside which caused ** to lose internet and when we call they say we cant sent anyone for 2 days. Your technician caused the internet to go out.

      we live in **** and pay over 100/month and my wife works from home. now she's about to get fired because Mediacom is absolute trash. their technicians don't know a aerial drop vs buried drop. they are the most trash service next to century link.0/10 never would reccomend to anyone.

      This company is totally ridiculous I have no Internet upload speed so therefore I have no download speed this is been going on for nine months first they tried to tell me it was my equipment they were proven wrong now theyve been telling me for nine months Ive been working on it I am paying for quality high-speed service and Im getting unusable service. Theres no other service in my area that I can get There a telling me its in my neighborhood and thats correct but its also all over the Midwest the website says everythings fine its company needs to be stopped they need to start paying people their money back immediately if they cant run a business the way they advertise which is *****% reliability they are clearly lying and they know it

      There are only two things reliable about mediacom: your internet failing 3-4 times per day (for varying amounts of time) and the connection being terrible on the off chance that it is "working"

      Mediacom use to be the best internet service you could get, we had them for over a year now, and now they are over charging us for streaming. Isn't that what you pay for internet for to stream? They started charging us for Gigabytes usage, then next thing I know, our bill went from $59.99 a month to us owing them over $500. we had to pay over $200 for fees and then they're still saying we owe over $300. It doesn't make any sense, we spoke to a guy that said we were in the wrong plan so they switched us to another plan and then sent us another box for us to hook up ourselves. I have no idea why they sent ** the Xtreme Wi-Fi 360 Pro, but said we could hook it up ourselves. This company is absolutely the worst. We tried to speak with customer service about it, the lady we spoke to hung up the phone while we were still on it. When we tried to call back, the line sounded like it was disconnected. I feel like they owe my mother money for all the money she had to send them that wasn't necessary. She paid them $254 before and they still say she owe $400 more. When we asked them why is the bill so high, their response was " well, it's because you went over your gigabytes when you stream movies and the web." I'm confused, I thought is the whole reason to get WIFI to stream the internet. They brought *********************** Video games, and watching live shows the reason for going over our gigabyte data. so now we don't have internet, i have classes, and have to go to the library to get on my classes. I would not recommend Mediacom to anyone! you will be paying them your rent money every month for how they say you can't stream anything. It's Ridiculous, but we need to be compensated for the money we gave them because we gave them too much money.

      This company is a scam! They raise their billing a minimum of $5 every month starting at the $99 **** you in price. Now they are at $242.71 a month and nothing has changed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just called again and they said they can put me at a new promotional package for $20 less if i agree to a new 3 year contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT????????????????? Yes please. **** us some more for 3 more years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why hasn't this company been caught for what they are doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are millions of complaints on them and NOTHING IS DONE TO STOP THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Mediacom lied to me! I was told they had a great deal internet and tv for arou nd 117 a month. that was a lie! I have been billed 154 every month.. they tell me my 3 month promo has stopped.. well I got it! and I would have never signed up for a 3 month promo to start with. I have called 5 times now and no one will help me.. i am on the phone a good hour while they look into it.. but never fix.. I was given a number to call who could help me... no help... I looked online fo rjust internet service it said it was ***** and I have had that before a few years back but they it was ***** well now I cant have that service if I want internet it will be 100 a month.. I will not use medicom a again and I have always been a loyal customer.. I will be looking into switching!! very unhappy

      MediaCon - Pay too much and get too little in return. Lousy customer service. Always raising prices. Poor reliability. Zero stars would be the appropriate rating.

      Very poor service. When dealing with Mediacom I feel like they have guns. Your about to get robbed. If you have mediacom run away as fast as you can . If your thinking about hooking up . Run away as fast as you can . Mediacom will tell you what they want you to hear . Total scam & rip off .
