      Not only does this company promote false advertisement by telling you theyre giving you a promotion and then changing your Internet speeds and telling you, you didnt have a choice in the matter raising your bill! Not only that, but they will rent you a monitor for a certain amount per month and not let you own it after youve clearly paid it off by their value. The worst company Ive ever dealt with.

      Be very cautious of this company. Once you sign up for their services, their website will not allow you to see other options or pricing unless you talk to an agent. They would not allow me to look at home phone services; a service I do not pay for. I contact them and all they could say is that I have to contact an agent. It's pretty sad you can sign up for services on their website but you can not change or see other plans or pricing.

      Zero stars. I dont even have the cable company but their lines run through my backyard. I have heard nothing but awful things about this company. I had called on 12/18/22 to have them come out to look/ bury exposed lines in my yard one of which is no longer covered, it is just a metal wire. They told me it would be 72 hours. 3 days later I call back and was told they came out to somebody else's house because they had coded the issue incorrectly when I told them it was an outside issue to begin with. This time they told me they would come out and pull the lines out. I warned them that a snow storm was coming the next day and they said it wouldn't be an issue. Never called or came out like they said. I then called today 12/28/22 and they told me somebody came out (which they didn't) and said they couldn't bury the line because it costs them money and the line in my backyard is under an easement and belongs to my neighbor behind me. I asked them if they were ok with having exposed lines for their customers and they said yeah temporarily....but if you aren't willing to come bury the lines the issue is going to be permanent. They wouldnt let me speak to a supervisor, they put me on hold and relayed information to me and told me to call city hall. I asked why two other agents said they were going to come fix the issue and she stated they were incorrect and that they aren't going to fix it and it's not their problem. If you are looking for a provider DO NOT get mediacom.

      Our line was cut this summer. Rather than fix the line, they laid a temp cable over the street. When the snow began falling, the plows tear the line out. They had to fix it December 13. It went out again on the 22nd. The only reason they would come look was because the local tech felt bad that no one was responding to the situation. They again laid the cable on the street. This morning, the cable is literally torn and laying down the street. I have a field audit scheduled but was told it wasnt guaranteed when they would come.I too have been told I will get a credit and never see anything.This situation should have been fixed this summer or even this fall. Now I have to play the scheduling game because they wont fix their problem. Their only saving ***** is the technician who is advocating for **.

      I'm not surprised mediacom isn't BBB accredited. I have absolutely nothing good to say about mediacom except treat your customers better. Mediacom is simply shameful!!!!

      Actually Zero stars for unreliability of their cable internet. It constantly buffers or goes down during high traffic volumes and sometimes for the entire day. Our security system and home phone rely on it and it's unreliable to say the least. Their technicians have said our neighborhood cable signals are poor and the company does not intend to invest in making it better. Our entire neighbor **** has complained. Its also very expensive for what we get. We have no other option for cable, so it's a monopoly here.

      I have had Mediacom for YEARS!!!....all good til this last year!! Watch out if you have smart tv/ roku tvs! They will run your usage up like crazy!! I was the ONLY person in a apt and they were trying to say I was using over **** GB when I was barely ever home!! Trying to get customer service OR someone to understand you or you understand them is a JOKE!! MULTIPLE calls to them, got the run around EVERY TIME!! But they had NO PROBLEM charging me all the overage!! And refused to help at all! NEVER AGAIN will I recommend Mediacom to ANYONE! I couldn't even have my phone on wifi cuz nothing would come thru

      I would leave a zero star review if I could. This may be the worst company I have ever dealt with. The consistent lack of customer service is unbearable and the only reason I currently have this service is that it has a monopoly on the coverage in my area. The plans they offer increase in price every year with no warning, The customer service center is in Bangladesh filled with people who do not have any idea about the plans they are trying to upcharge you for. I currently use 10% percent of my monthly allowable usage and every time I call they just give me the runaround transferring me to different people just to disconnect my call and start the whole process over again. Not to mention the actual location in town! The absolute worst people work for their "customer service team" and they are just the most rude and aggravating people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. **** you Mediacom.

      Absolute trash pay 100 dollars a month for 300mbps and get 75 on a good day have to reset the modem once a day for the internet to even work this company should be shut down ????????
