      Mediacom holds a monopoly in this area and therefore has no incentive to be better or even attempt to make any improvements. I have to use my data plan to browse on my phone. The WiFi doesnt work with hardly any device. I can only stream shows for about 2 hours and gaming is about the same. Im being over charged because ** having to pay for internet service that doesnt work.

      Worst internet company Ive ever dealt with. My wifi wasnt working within 10 minutes of it being installed, and it took 2 months and 4 or 5 visits from a tech to fix the problem. I live in a tiny apartment, and one tech said just the modem is sufficient, one said Id need an eero, one said I would need two, and no one really knew. It finally took two eeros to get the wifi working up to speed in my tiny apartment, in addition to them replacing the drop cable (which had apparently been identified and they just didnt want to fix it). I was told I could have up to two eeros, but was later told theres an extra charge. They do not document anything and do not communicate with each other, which just makes things take longer. Too bad this is the only wifi provider in my area. It didnt even work for the first two months, and they still charged me until I fought it and then they split it between two months, which doesnt even add up on my account. Get any other provider if you can. *** spent countless hours on the phone and with tech appointments for this. Absolute waste of time and money.

      The ABSOLUTE worst service EVER my parents are older, and planned on watching TV on Thanksgiving Day and weekend and, once again their Mediacom tv service is out AGAIN. Of course Mediacom cant come to their house for SEVEN DAYS!!!They have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and horrible track recordcant wait til mediacom has competition. HORRIBLE company!!!Which I could leave a NO STAR review!

      We are a business and have been down internet for FOUR DAYS. Multiple calls to tech support and the field techs either don't show up, or when they do they don't call like they're supposed to and don't fix the problem! They did an area service disruption but did not give warning to any businesses! They are awful to deal with when it comes to customer service. 4 days of sitting in the office with no internet but having to be here in case they show up!! I wish we could get rid of them immediately.

      We pay good money for highspeed internet with this company. We consistently have dropped internet and internet outages. Company states they will credit our bill for days we did not have service however we never see those credits issued. If you have a different option for internet provider, then I highly recommend you use the alternative.

      They turned our internet off for a "leakage" of which they can't say when or how it started, and they're not coming to fix it for 5 days at a minimum. I've been nice through the spotty outages and slowness but this is ridiculous. If we were stealing or doing something wrong or not paying our bill, I get it. But to flat turn off the service for what sounds like a made up reason, not ok!

      If I could give it less stars, I would. Current monthly bill is nearly $300 for basic cable, phone and internet. I called their loyalty program and they said, Oh, youve been with us over twenty years. Let me see what I can do to help lower your bill. Came back with the SAME plan for MORE money. Our service is out almost weekly. One agent will tell you theres no outage and the next one will tell you there is an outage. Then they tell you that you can pay your bill online, like theyre so worried about getting their money. Im the one not getting what Im paying for. Its absolutely ridiculous. Terrible service, terrible communication. I wish the *** would investigate this sham of a company or some law firm would start a class action lawsuit.

      I'm so sick and tired of MediaCom's lies. All this past Spring they blamed their issue on fiber optic cables being cut. Everything would work for awhile then go out again. Oops. Another fiber optic cable was cut. Darn. Today they're blaming the annual, minor, solar flares for widespread problems around ******* and **********. Hey, MediaCom have you ever heard of NOAA? Yesterday the technician that came out was told to tell me that the Entire national feed for All channels coming out of ******* was having issues. Not true. In every instance they lie. It's never their fault. As someone who was in the Enterprise Network business before networks or internet was a thing, I have a pretty good idea of the real issue. They know that their time in the consumer market place will soon be over. Just like Ma Bell and land line phones. So why replace or update any hardware or software unless absolutely required. Keep expenses as low as possible. Keep raising prices as much as possible. Keep lying to appease customers. Keep raising "C" execs salary, until the the final death gasp comes. This has become the new American Way.

      This is the absolute worst company I have ever seen for internet! Bought my own modem internet kept going in and out called them up they blamed our modem I went and bought a new one and not even a week later same story its our modem! They have charged us several times for a tech coming out and the same day they reported an issue in our area but did not want to refund the charge for the tech! We had an internet outage Friday and than it went out Sunday again and has not been back on since again same **** story its our modem! Absolutely sick of the lord they feed you and dont want to actually fix the problem over paying for an internet we can not use and I work from home ????

      Rarely get the speeds we pay for, channels often pixelate, have lost channels we previously had because they moved them to a "new package" and the bill continuously goes up. On top of that all internet sites or streaming TV's/apps think my entire neighborhood is in ******* when we are actually in ********. The only reason I have relatively stable **************** compared to my neighbors is because I use my own modem and router instead of the crappy Mediacom equipment. Horrible company but they are the only provider available.
