      Zero stars if I could. I called to transfer service. It was supposed to be done on a Monday and it was never done. I called back. They said they had no order for Transfer of service. They said theyd have to try to put it in again and they did. I didnt notice the transfer of service as an appointment on my Mediacom app so I called Mediacom and they said oh we have a transfer for service and lets check your address and the address didnt even come close to where it was supposed to be Transferring to! I said I dont even know where that is. Then they said well, we can put in a third transfer and I said absolutely not. Im disconnecting. Im done with all of this. So they said well waive your fee to disconnect now and youll have an ending balance of $11.50. I paid that on the app. Then today I get a text message from Mediacom Molli Telling me, (Mediacom - Molli) We were not able to approve your request for a service credit made on 11/11/2024. If you would like to text with an agent for additional details, reply with "agent". and of course I call Mediacom back, asking him whats going on and the woman on the phone tells me theres nothing in here about a credit. Theres no notes anywhere. What in the world is wrong with this company and who are they hiring? So now youre telling me I owe even more money after they did all of their mess *** and lying to me??

      If I could rate this zero stars, I would. I have relocated to a different state and have no choice, but to be with this company for ***************** Mediacom have been the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life the amount of Internet issues I have had in the last two months have been something I have never seen or experience in my life and the fact that they will not compensate me for the connectivity issues scream volumes. The technicians are extremely lazy. They manipulate you in a way of canceling appointments to benefit them because corporate only cared about numbers. If youre going to move an area that Mediacom dominates I would recommend rethinking. I wish I wouldve known this before. I selected the location to move to just off the sake of them.

      Video goes out on my TV at least once a day at night. Now it goes out during a football game that half the state is watching. Every single day. It is horrible. I also pay over $300 a month for basically nothing.

      I had Mediacom for 2 years. They were more expensive, and for about 3-4 months medicine services did not even work and I was charged for the services. Extremely poor customer service, bad attitude from service techs. The worst service provider in the area not even close.

      Mediacom is terribly inconsistent with their internet speed. Sometimes I'll have around 90Mbps and then 5 minutes later it'll slow down to a measly 5Mbps download. The upload is always slow, never going higher than 25Mbps and usually sitting at around 5Mbps, but it gets as low as 0.05Mbps. Not to mention it goes down twice a week for the entire day!! How am I supposed to work from home, luckily I have an understanding employer and a mobile hotspot. If you are considering using Mediacom I highly suggest you look elsewhere, it's a shock this company is in business.

      I got internet through Mediacom shortly after moving into my apartment in November of last year and had issues with the Internet from day 1 with my internet going out repeatedly I was paying around 100 dollars a month for there 1 gigabyte Internet I called them repeatedly and I had technicians out 4-6 times they always found something wrong like the buried line needed replaced to the wrong power supply being used on the modem which I got the feeling they was blaming me for and it wasn't me it was one of the techs that used that power supply on the modem so since I kept having problems I decided that it wasn't worth paying for so I quit paying my bill they eventually shut it off but I was still having issues with the Internet going out every day usually around 10 times a day and some days it went out a lot more 15 - 20 but it doesn't seem like they care about their customers anymore because when the techs came out they never stayed very long and I still had the issues sometimes seconds to minutes after they left I put up with that for 7 or 8 months and when they shut me off I switched to a different carrier and I am dealing with a lot slower download speed of 10 megabytes but at least I don't lose my internet multiple times a day I am really disappointed in Mediacom because I have had them before and not had issues like this I will never use them again because of it I still have the equipment and I have tried to return it I was told a tech would pick it up Friday so I stayed home but he never called I didn't get a call till then following Tuesday but I wasn't home because my daughter had an appointment so I was in ****** when he called my experience has been so bad that I don't feel they eventually deserve one star.

      The issues with Mediacom are due to an update made in early Sep 2024 (OFDMA Issue). This is a known issue and the problem is that it is not impacting everyone. Mediacom knows and are not doing anything about it. Call and demand a credit. The most the call center can do is 3 weeks and I will keep doing that until the issue is fixed.I am also going to try and report to the news to see if they will take the story. It is impacting ***********. I am so tired of Mediacom not sending out an update and telling us this is us and not them.

      The service provided is horrible! Internet always going out! Ive had issues since I moved into my home 7 years ago. No other internet provider is allowed in my area, why? I have no clue! Im sick to my stomach even having to write this! Its like theyve tied our hands to only being allowed to deal with them! I *** and calls dropped constantly! A tech has to come out to my home at least every 3 weeks to look at the system! We need other providers in the *********, DE area! Mediacom is THE WORST!!

      Pieces of s*** I hope they all get what's coming to them. They constantly lie and gaslight people into believing whatever they say when the reality is in front of their eyes. They keep saying that their ppl are "working around the clock" to fix the issue. Which is a lie, I have been from one end of the county to the other.. there is not one of their trucks to be seen anywhere in this city. F****** LIARS

      Poor service. Without Internet for 2 weeks. And still waiting for service. Filed a complaint with *** also
