      Mediacom is a terrible company and does not treat customers right. Absolutely terrible service. We had a new box installed because ours was old. We Were never told that the other tvs in the house would no longer work. We were never informed. Was told would have to buy another box for each TV and would be charged an extra 9.99 each month. The internet goes out every day and Chanels are often scrambled. We ok pay way too much for such crappy service.

      Mediacom had a scheduled, planned outage in my area and NO ONE was notified that the service was going to be down for 3 days. This is Absolutely unexceptable as we work from home and rely on the service. I called today to cancel my service and was told that it will take up to 7 business days for it to take affect. Which means I have already lost 4 days of work and will have to pay for 7 more of which I have NO service. It's extortion. I know they just type in a command and service is off or on. Worst customer service. I'm going with IMON.

      Mediacom is down once @ least once a week. It's ridiculous... If it's regular maintenance they should let their customers know when they are going to do this. Worst internet I have had out of 5 companies.

      If I could put a zero I would! Our neighborhood is constantly having horrible internet service from this so-called business!! They really don't care and want to send someone out to fix it! It's the whole neighborhood! The Internet is always being disrupted!I called today because my bill has gone up, although I was given this rate for a 2 year period. Apparently I need to call them "Every Time" the Internet is not working because THEY are fixing it. The other times it's not working, which could be 5-30 times a day, it doesn't count! I AM expected to let them know each time, because they apparently can't keep track of their business!!!How can I let them know when half the time I am talking to someone in a foreign country!! The great thing is that I won't have to deal with this issue much longer!! I will be leaving this poor service and probably another ****** others!!

      I have experienced a consistent lack of service with Mediacom. Over time, I've dealt with multiple outages and intermittent internet availability. Recently, we were left with absolutely no service. After trying various troubleshooting methods like modem resets, we finally scheduled an appointment with a technician. The earliest availability was FOUR days away, which speaks volumes about their service capacity. This suggests either a shortage of technicians or outdated systems that cannot keep up with the necessary repairs.I am eagerly looking forward to switching to Starlink. Mediacom is fortunate to even receive a one-star rating, as there are no lower options available. If you value reliable service, I highly recommend staying away from Mediacom.

      Terrible customer service, horrible response times waiting over a week for a technician to come out, and when they do show up unable to fix the problem. Untrained inexperienced techs!

      Mediacom is a rip off! They only accommodate new customers. **************** is rude and not helpful at all! They have a monopoly in my small town and charge twice as much here as surrounding towns that have other options! They know I have no other choices, so why be nice???

      Mediacom is horrible. I recently cancelled service at one address at a house I sold. I returned the gateway which was all I thought needed to be returned. They call and say that there were also two white boxes that need to be returned. I can't do that because they must have been left in the house when I sold it. The buyers say they don't have them they might have thrown them out. Mediacom says the charge is $199 so I say ok I guess I have to pay it. Then they say NO it is $199 each. I ask if I can negotiate they say no It is my fault many people move but they return the equipment. So I say I pay my bills put it on my credit card but I am going to try to see if I can find another provider. Then they tell me what is owing is not about $400 but $411. They say I owe them further interest or penalties. There is not a big selection of ******** services providers here but I am certainly going to look for one. I would tell anyone avoid mediacom at all costs.

      Your customer service is wretched and your moral compass/business ethics are appalling. No empathy. Quick to grab money and leave us with poor service.
