      You almost dont have to write a review when everyone before you has already said the same issue youve already experienced. Instead ill comment on the ceo ***************************. Just an absolute sleazy piece of trash. You almost feel bad calling them knowing some poor employee is paid nothing and gets minimal training while dealing with fed up consumers. Who are forced to use this company *************** and all the other major isp in your area have made deals to make sure they run the show. Our modern world will be a much nicer place when he leaves it.

      Youve been at my home because of YOUR installation issues 3 times, with yesterday being the latest. You disconnected our service ! So I call to report the *********** told it will be at least late Tuesday before anyone can even look at it. Are you kidding ? We pay a lot of $ for your service every *********** completely disregard what we pay for ? I am seriously going elsewhere as soon as I can - run, not walk, from Mediacom ! You will be at their mercy because they certainly do not care about their customers !

      This company does inexplicable things when you try to stop their service, and then sends a large bill with unexplained charges, I'm not sure they disconnected my service two months after I asked to have it shut down.

      Mediacom has taken the market over! At the beginning it was customer driven and great quality! Now the company just cares about not numbers, not customers. Our internet cuts out constantly ( daily basis) costs are thru the roof! Unfortunately where we live plans are limited, but as soon as something comes around Im leaving mediacom!

      I would give ZERO stars if possible. My area has had 7 OUTAGES IN 2 weeks with no explanation as to why, no apology and no customer service. And it keeps happening. Unbelievably terrible internet, terrible company. I work remote and the amount of times that I have had to switch over to my mobile hotspot while working because my internet keeps crashing is ridiculous. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Stay away from these snake oil salesmen.

      Worst ISP of all time for me. They have outages every other day. I've had over 20 in the past 2 months. It makes working from home almost impossible at times. Avoid this company if you can

      High speed internet - yes. Customer service - atrocious!! My internet was out for 6 days due to an issue with Mediacom's equipment. This was NOT acceptable as I work from home and require internet to fulfill my job requirements. I ended up having to utilize a mobile hotspot on my cell phone (and I do not have unlimited data on my phone). In addition, I was not able to access my customer files and other files required to perform my job duties. I either phoned or texted Mediacom at least once a day to get a status update. EVERY conversation provided different information, none of which was helpful. The second day of my outage, I was told by Mediacom that they had ***** hours to resolve the problem. On the 4th day of outage, I was basically told that the ***** hour time frame started over again. 6 full days before my internet was back up!!! I have never worked with an internet provider that was unable to restore my internet within 24 hours! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!

      I asked for my services to be canceled 3 months ago because their service and prices have sky rocketed and I was moving. They told me the disconnect would be processed. Found out today when their collections department called me they never disconnected the service and continued to charge me. Then fought and argued with me on the phone when I told them to fix the mess they made as I was paid in full up to this point. The lady on the phone was unhelpful and kept telling me there was no way for them to apply credit back to the date I requested the disconnect. Extremely unprofessional and taking money from customers is theft.

      We realized Mediacom never cancelled our service on our previous residence after transfer was completed, and we have been charged double for the past 18 months. We do realize this is an oversight on our part. When I spoke to a Mediacom employee, she admitted fault multiple times and was told by a supervisor, per policy, they will only refund six months. I called back and spoke to a supervisor, ****, and I asked him for a copy of this policy because I wanted to see the legality of it and possibly seek legal assistance. He immediately shut me down, and said he would not speak to me if that was the case. I told him I have not done so and would personally like a copy of it. He said to go to the Fair Billing website, and said it was still our fault because we hadn't realized in that amount of time. We are received a refund check for six months, and we will be cancelling due to this error on Mediacom's behalf and the fact their prices just keep going up.
