      My apartment complex building changed the *** laundry machines from card-operated to app-operated in early March. They told us to mail our laundry cards to *** and request a transfer of funds. I mailed my card around the start of April, with approx. $40 of funds on it, and have had no sign of notification / fund transfer from ***. I have tried emailing, using the live chat and recently calling (where the call was cut off), but with no response from ***. I am not sure if there are any other options, apart from filing a complaint via BBB.

      CSC changed their system to use the washers and dryers here at the ***** ***** **** in Philadelphia in the beginning of Jan. 2023 from their credit card type usage to a digital, smart phone system. See attached.

      I filled out their form requesting a refund on 1/13/23 (see attached) and still haven't gotten it. Nor have I heard anything from them.

      So, I would like my refund and am asking the BBB to help with this. Also I think it's questionable and unfair for them to not have used the code on the back of their card to send us a refund. Seems like they're just trying to get a windfall profit doing it their way.
      Also, they have nerve stating: "We will evaluate your card and mail the applicable refund MINUS THE VALUE OF THE $5.00 CARD." (Caps mine)
      Now why would they charge us for the card when we are returning it to them? And, I believe we paid for it when we got the card to use at move in. Even though I'm not 100% sure of that. But I don't think that matters as they now have possession of my card.
      The $9.75 is only an estimate as I didn't know I had to keep track of the amount as their was no advance notice they were pulling the plug and changing things.
      And do you see on their form it says: "Anticipate receipt of your refund in 3-4 weeks"?
      I think it's a rip that for residents who have only a few dollars or less won't bother to request a refund, giving CSC a big windfall!
      I keep on getting a notice saying "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again." But to no avail. I think it's the upload. I have 3 of them. I'll try only one. Please contact me if you want the others.

      I live in an apartment complex that uses CSC Service works laundry washers. They don't always work so, they use our laundry detergent with out service. I am in an affordable housing program due to being on a low income. I can not afford to have my laundry detergent wasted. This company will reimburse us if our laundry wasn't properly washed or dried. They will not reimburse us for our wasted laundry detergent. They need to own up to all their responsibilities, not just some. Plus they do not come and repair thier equipment right away. I have called numerous times and they do not come for months.

      CSC does not refund for laundry detergent. We cannot offer a resolution, that is acceptable to you, for that specific matter. Please review the following.

      Residents can report lost funds within 1-2 business
      days of losing the funds and the refund must be associated with a service
      request for verification. We do not authorize for mass refunds over a span
      of time.

      The online form Refund Request – CSC ServiceWorks
      (********** is
      for minor refunds for one broken machine at a time. 

      If you utilize the CSC Go or CSC Pay Mobile
      applications, you need to request a refund via in mobile app (by using the
      service request feature in the app), instead of the online form, as you
      will be directed to the app.

      Large refunds requested online with no information
      about how the funds were lost are not able to be approved. 

      Any time funds are lost in one machine, you may use
      the online form within two business days, if possible.

      If two or more machines are used, please call us at ************ to report the machines and request a refund.

      The washing Machines where I live dont wash the clothes at all. Its basically like I can wash my things myself they dont come out clean.t. Its not like the machine dont work its clothes are still dirty. Which is odd to me as a resident I should not have to do deal with this I should not have to go to a laundromat to wash wash my clothes ************ washers are really terrible. CSC service works. They have a website ********. No gets on the phone they have a wait time thats day 12 min. I have yet to talk with a live person. ***** machines are janky.

      I have asked them several times, (four times via email), that they need to come and pick up their appliances. It has been over 30 days and no one has even called or emailed, to get the appliances. They are choosing to ignore me! I need this to be taken care of ASA!!

The contract doesn’t expire until 5.14.23. Due to 5.14.23 falling on a Sunday, we are going to attempt to remove the machines on 5/12/2023.

      CSC service has been unacceptable we have to wait weeks/months for them to empty the coin boxes on the washer and dryer that we rented from them. Just to get service of any kind it takes weeks. So we ended our contract with them on 11/24/22 and they were going to have someone to remove the coin machines that were rented by us.It&#**;s been 4 months and we have not gotten any calls from them. I e-mailed ******************************* the Account Manager for the service yesterday letting her know and asking for a number of someone I could speak to directly. I get response back stating she thought machines had been removed, wasn&#**;t given a number of the Install manager that would be removing machines. Again, I&#**;m put off at this point I feel that they have abandoned the machines for us to get rid of at are costs.

      Good morning,
      I would like to ask for your assistance as my numerous attempts to contact the company directly for money lost on 3 of laundry cards with CSC ServiceWorks were unsuccessful. The value of each of these 3 csc card is $5.00 dollars, $15.00 dollars were spent at different times, due to after one card cannot be read by laundry machine for unknown reason I end up buying another one, and another one, because there’s no other payment method accepted by the laundry machines in my building, had to do the laundry. I also loaded csc card with money separately to use it to get laundry done as purchased card initially dispensed empty and had to be loaded with cash only to use. The balance of my 3 cards is $16.00 dollars in addition to $15.00 dollars spent on three cards individually, total loss is $31.00 dollars. Cards become non working and display “error message” after using them for a few times when inserted into laundry machine it reads “error message” I’ve contacted CSC company since November 15,2022 until now spoke to different representatives I have their names the dates and time who I spoke with, I always get different answer, one says “they mailed you a new card” someone else says “they mailed you a check” I did not received any refunds so far, and it is 3 cards that broken. This company does not want to refund the money lost on their cards, online tool also cannot assist with issue with laundry cards at cscw.com there’s no such option available to request and/or file for a refund, you can only request money lost from the laundry machine if it charged card but didn’t wash, for the money lost from csc cards however one must call the customer service number. I have 3 non working cards and $31.00 dollars lost. Please help me to get the $31.00 dollars refund from CSC. Please see refund request numbers I have been give, but no resolution: confirmation 1. ********, 2. *********, escalation request 3. ********, BUT NO REFUND ISSUED.

      On January, 2023 our apartment complex* ****** ****** *********** in Chicago, Il. changed the method of washing and drying our clothes. The formerly used washing card had to be returned to the company CSC Service Works and any remaining money on your card would be reimbursed to us the customers. I returned my card to CSC with 4 dollars on the card on Thursday January 19, 2023. On Wednesday January 25,2023 I tried to use the new washing machines I attempted to use cash which we were told the machine would take the money and you would be allowed to wash/dry your clothes. This did NOT happen to me the machine took my cash money 2 dollars and I was not able to wash my clothes using cash. I have repeatedly called the company and has been told that my reimbursement would be coming to me in the mail. I called on Friday, February 10th, 2023 and spoke with Raphael who told me my reimbursement would be returned to me in the mail. On Tuesday February 28,2023 I spoke with Marjorie who also told me my money would be reimbursed to me, in the mail. Today is Monday March 13, 2023 and I have NOT received the money that CSC promised would be returned to me.If you could ask CSC to return my 6 dollars to me I would be appreciative. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. Thank you so much for your help.

      This is the email I sent to CSC on March 4th notifying them of the charge of $10 not being posted to my wallet. I also filled out a form on their website notifying them of the charge of $20 to my bank card but only $10 posted to my laundry account. The transaction history in my CSC account only shows $10 credit.

      No response from CSC.

      On Feb 28, I attempted to add $10, your system gave me an error message the transaction did not go through and to try again.

      I did the $10 again and it went through. Only $10 was credited to my wallet.

      Your company charged my bank account $20 for the two transactions. You owe me $10 which I would like credited back to my credit card.

      My bank notified me of a duplicate transaction.
