At the beginning of May, our washer/dryer sets had gone up .50 for each to use. Residents were furious and this was not authorized by the owners of the building. Request was made to immediately set them back to the original fees on May 8. They have not been adjusted yet so I called myself only to be a told a new excuse. They are conducting a "Pilot Program" for all machines to see if it impacts use. If it doesn't they plan to leave the prices and this increased price. I told them we had no knowledge of this , was never given an option and we have a contract, they cannot play with our prices when they feel like it. I demanded to have the prices set back on the machines (they can do this via internet/web no physical visit is needed) ASAP. This is totally unfair, our residents have to wash their clothes so usage will not change we have no other options!!!! Regrettably without input from residents, The Park Apartments managed by ***** Management hired CSC ServiceWorks to install four laundry machines. The promotional materials require you to download an app called CSCPay Mobile but there is another app, CSC GO which their phone line promotes. The app repeated bills customers without starting machines (this is my third time) and the service request option on their app does not include a refund request nor does it include any applicable issues. The phone line on the machine is not actually manned. "*****" hung up on me after I finally got through to someone because I had not called the correct department for a refund and under the guise of transferring, ended the call. He had me sit on a silent hold for multiple minutes for no reason at the beginning of the call then acted annoyed I hadn't hung up in the prolonged silence.If you go to the website to place the request, it tells you you need to use the app. If you go to the app, there is no refund request option. If you go to the help page in the app, it tells you to follow instructions that do not work for the app. The phone line has hold times of up to 20+ minutes and it's the only way you can actually file a refund request.Business Response

Following are the three requests for refund I made on the *** Web site and that were rejected by the site for unknown reasons. Same thing happened last time I requested a refund. Very annoying to spend time writing the three separate requests *** now requires for the same machine and then getting no approval. And why don't the coin-return buttons on the machines work?120-CWS Refund Request 1 of 3: I selected Warm and Delicate, inserted 4 quarters, and pushed Start. Nothing happened, and then the readout switched from "24" to "E:dL." I kept pushing Start and the wonky sequence just kept repeating. 120-CWS Refund Request 2 of 3: Following the lack of results on Delicate that I explained in Refund Request 1 of 3, the panel was unlit, so I tried pressing Normal and Warm, and inserted 4 more quarters and pressed Start. I got the same readout -- "E:dL," and the machine was lit for Wash but there was no activity. I then removed my still dry clothes and placed an Out of Order sign on the machine.120-CWS Refund Request 3 of 3: I am chemically sensitive, and because this front loader has commercial liquid detergent and the fragrance of detergent left in the drawer and sometimes in the drum itself from previous users, I run the machine through a cycle with baking soda and no clothes before I use it with my fragrance-free, chemical-free, natural soap. As the machine stopped working after that first run, per Refund Requests 1 and 2, I am out that dollar as well.Residents at this apartment building have endured malfunctioning washing machines since winter 2022, slow and incompetent repairs, unfulfilled promises of replacement machines, and the promise of a 200+ percent increase in price (for a wash cycle of 12 minutes!). This is highly irresponsible and unethical. Example: While trying to get the front loader to work for me, the top loader in use next to it was vibrating so loudly that I couldn't hear if the front loader was filling with water.Customer Answer

I been using their washers and dryer machines, but ALL of them do NOT WORK properly. I been spending a lots of money because their system says this: "NO connection" and when I see my bank account, the device that did not work, went trough and charged 2.00 on each dryer or 2.25 on those washer that don't work with enough water and clothes come out stinky and with ODOR from the machines. If people start the machines and WE ARE THE first ones, the machines (ALL of them), says that there is "not connection" but the charge still go to the bank account. Dryers that this company owns and service keeps taking extra money from account ranging from $2 to $15 at a time every time it is used. It has taken them 3+ months to respond to any sort of refund claim. My first time using machines. Took $20 dollars from me. Sent a screen shot. Said they will send a card in the mail been waiting 30 days never received it. Keep saying someone will contact me. No one never did. It should away to refund back to credit card. But they don't want to. They are just keeping people money. And lying saying it's in the mail. When washing machine 118-FWR failed to wring out my clothes on 2/24/2024, I tried to hand wring the small load of sopping wet clothing and sweaters. I was unable to successfully wring them out. If the washing machine had been operating properly it would have rung out the small load and I could have dried them in one cycle. I am requesting $1.75 for the washing machine issue and $9.00 for the three times I had to use two dryers to completely dry my clothes. I submitted a request for service to 118-FWR. I submitted this request on the company website on 2/26/2924. I called several times and most notably to Orelen on 3/12/2024 who told me a check for $11.00 was mailed to me on 2/28/2024. On 4/18/2024, I emailed ***************** On 3/19/2024 I spoke to ***** who told me that checks are not allowed for this amount and a new CSC Service Works reloadable cash card would sent to me because that is how I paid for using the washer and dryer machines. I downloaded the csc mobile app to do laundry at my apartment complex because our card machines were broken. I added money so I'd always have a balance and unfortunately I ended up having to move a few weeks later. I only used the app once on January 9 2024. I requested the refund on January 23 2024. It has yet to be reviewed let alone processed. I cannot use this app at my new residence therefore I am out the money that is rightfully mine that I didn't use. I have tried resolving this via phone where I was on hold for 25 mins then spoke to a representative explained the situation was told I was being transferred to the app department line where I was on hold again for an hour before I hung up. I then tried contacting support via chat through the help center on the app and website to no avail. I am now currently on hold again. However as much trouble getting through I'm having and other customers telling me it's impossible to get a refund. I should not lose my hard earned money (no matter how little the amount may be) because of circumstances out of my control such as the fact again I moved and no longer have access to the laundry room or anywhere that uses this particular laundry app service. CSC Service Works has refused to issue my $5 refund from their mobile app (paid via my Debit Card) since 3/7/24. I called on 3/7 and spoke with ***** and again on 3/18 with *******. According to them, refunds take 2 business days for approval and another 5-8 business days to be granted. Since it's been over 2 weeks, apparently these crooks have no intention of reimbursing me as they should.Business Response

The representative tried to contact you today, 5.7.24. On the 2nd attempt, he was able to reach you. You advised him you were not interested in talking to us, so you disconnected the call.
