On 3/11/24, I requested service for a dryer that I lease from CSC. I was told service would be performed in 1 to 3 business days. As of today, 3/25/24, no service has been done and no call received from service person. Daily calls to **************** have not been helpful. I have been told that the request has been "escalated" or that an email has been sent to the technician. Today's response was that there is "nothing else we can do". What does **************** do if not resolve consumer issues? I have 3 tenants who rely on this dryer, which I pay to lease monthly.Business Response

Upon reviewing the account, the following was determined: The dryer ZMW-732 was serviced on 3.5.24, before your Better Business Bureau submission on 3.25.24. On 3.5.24, the technician installed a new Assy Igniter Bracket and a Strike Door-Metal. The machine has yet to be reported since the technician was last on-site to make us aware the machine was still malfunctioning.
If the dryer still has an issue, please confirm, and a new service request will be submitted. Please provide the exact problem the machine is having.

Filthy, neglected and dangerous conditions of laundry equipment. I had over $2,000 worth of clothing that was damaged by their machines and they failed to fix the issue and then denied my claim for damages. They made the claim process unnecessarily difficult and complicated. I am disabled and they did not make any accommodations even after I had told multiple people I have having extreme difficulty with their forms that they emailed me. I had to submit my claim more than once because they claimed they never received my information which is simply not true. I had told multiple people for months about the abhorrent conditions of this laundry room and they failed to provide even basic maintainance and often lied about completing service requests. There were washing machines that flooded the floor multiple times where I had a slip and fall and injured my back. The tar like substance has ruined most of my clothing and bedding. They said it was cleaned more times than I can count where clearly that was another lie. They failed to provide a service in which I had to pay to use. They even made refund requests insanely difficult. They have since denied my claim for damages without any kind of explanation and are refusing to provide me with any information. I refused their first offer of $250 and their subsequent offer of $600 because both of those offers are insulting. My $2,500 estimate is on the lower end of my actual damages and expenses that their negligence has cost me.Business Response

Their response is simply not true. CSC has refused to provide any resolution to this and they have been insanely difficult to work with. The machines that they provide for my laundry room are unsafe and unsanitary and have damaged thousands of dollars worth of my clothing and bedding and they refuse to take responsibility for that. I have submitted multiple service requests for these machines to be repaired and they have failed to provide that. They are impossible to get in touch with and have refused to provide me with any contact information other than a customer service representative. I requested accommodations due to a disability and asked them to mail me a paper affidavit that they refused to do. They then said anyone can fill out this form online. I was offered $250 right off the bat, without filling out any kind of damage report, thats what I denied because why would I accept that when I have thousands of dollars in damage due to their faulty equipment that they are responsible for maintaining? Why would anyone accept $250.00 when theres 10 times the amount of damage? Would any of you accept that offer? Some of these items have no monetary value as they are sentimental items that I have spent several hours of my life picking black tar out of. My time is whats of value here. This company has been negligent, discriminatory and straight up been stealing from me. Look at their track record, its not great. I have been trying to close my account for over a month now and I cant even get them to do that because there was a $3.00 refund request from March 5th that has still not been processed ( as of April 22nd ) and that is preventing me from closing my account. I have an $18.00 balance and a $3.00 refund request that is literally being held hostage because of the absolute garbage that CSC is.

February 23, 2024 I added $10 to my CSC GO app to do laundry at my apartment complex located at ****************, **********************************************. CSC Service Works deducted $10 TWICE from ************** for a total of $20. I was only credited $10 in their app. I reach out to them on multiple occasions and they claim that a refund of $10 was issued to me. That refund was never issued and credit was never given to me. CSC changed washing machines/dryers that no longer take a laundry card so I had to mail it to them which I did nearly 1 month ago to get a refund $39.70 but I never got a refund. I called them over 1 week now, spoke to a supervisor 2 times who claimed he was going to look into & call me back that never happened. I have proof I mailed the laundry card back certified mail with the post office the tracking number is **** **** **** **** **** February 6, 2024 I sent it to the address I was told to for the refund. ***************** *************** Services *********************************************************************** Look, all I want is my refund. where the laundry card was sent? First of all the property management company of my building
were the ones who put a notice in the building for everyone and that is the address they gave
how am I to get the old laundry card back when I mailed it on February 6, 2023? Anyway,
I did check the U.S. post office website and they said it was forwarded February 12 which would
mean they still got it, it never came back to me. As I mentioned before I sent it certified mail.
So again, why haven't they sent me the refund? It's been over 1 month certainly that was enough time for them to get that in their system. That original address must have been the address what was given to the management company of my building. Anyway, again they must have the laundry card.

This is a laundry company located in a senior apartment complex in *******. Over the past 2 years we have had plenty of issues with them and we do not receive refunds. Residents can report lost funds within 1-2 business days of losing the funds, and the refund must be associated with a service request for verification. We do not authorize mass refunds over a span of time.
The online form Refund Request CSC ServiceWorks (*********) is for minor refunds for one broken machine at a time. You will get a follow-up email requesting additional information if the request does not go through. This may be the reason your previous request was never processed.
Large refunds requested online without information about how the funds were lost cannot be approved.
Any time funds are lost in one machine, you may use the online form within two business days, if possible.
If two or more machines are used, please call us at ************ to report the machines and request a refund. Our phone will refer you to the website for a faster resolution, but you can stay on the line if you wish to speak with a live agent.Machines on site are what was ordered, and likely intended to be kept for an extended period of time. If a machine is old, it is a high chance the machine will need continued servicing. CSC is unable to replace machines unless requested by management. On January 31st I spoke with a representative whom helped me with a confirmation number regarding replacement of my pillows that were destroyed in one of the washers. I wrote BBB on February 12th in regards to this as I was having issues with getting a refund. The business relplied with I was approved on February 12th for a refund and it takes ***** business days after approval for a check to be issued. However I had already waited 12 days on the 12th and now it is February 27th 2024 and I still have yet to receive any check. I call the automated system and they have no information for a refund it still keeps saying they are unable to process my refund request at this time. I am wondering if this company is in the business of lying. I am on the phone with them now at 7:20am and have been waiting for a representative for about 20minutes already and they open at 6:30am my time. This is making no sense to me. I have never experienced such delays in this process of a refund as I had one before from this company from a previous issue. It took only not even 2 weeks to get my refund. So now I have had no choice but to sleep on my couch pillows which hurt as I am on a fixed income and still waiting on my refund to replace these pillows. This business is awful. There washers are most of the time broken and repairs take forever to take place. I just spoke with a representative from CSC and all she could tell me was it was approved and I should be receiving the refund soon. Poor business ethics and if my building did not have this company in the building I would certainly boycot.
