Never received my $400.00 reward debit card. Realized it when I was going over old paperwork that was pending. I tried multiple times to contact NECO and no answer or response. How do I get them to issue a new $400.00 reward card?Business Response

As the customer had not received her card, we worked with our card vendor to have the customers card reissued. We had provided the customer several updates throughout the process, and once delivered even confirmed receipt of her card with the customer. Customer confirmed and thanked us for the resolution. I purchased 3 Frigidaire appliances that offered a $300 rebate available through NECO Alliance. I submitted the proper documentation and received a Mastercard Reward debit card. I had no knowledge that the card had an expiration date, let alone an expiration date of approximately 6 months. Given the *************** of the past several years, it is unconscionable a company would deliberately favor themselves vs. the consumer who supports them. I had not used any of the $300 on the card and noticed when I did go to use it, there was a sticker on the front stating THIS CARD IS ACTIVE AND READY FOR USE. The card arrived with the clock ticking and available for anyone to use without any security verification. I have been unable to reach anyone at NECO Alliance and the email address is not functional. Very, very poor customer service. At this time, I have been contacted directly by NECO Alliance LLC regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Card provider was unable to locate my card information. Emailed me June 3, 2024 asking if I could provide card information. In response, I sent copies of the front and back of the card (attached to this email) June 3, 2024. Awaiting response.

I received a Debit card issued by NECO Alliance for $125 as a rebate for a dishwasher that I purchased. I tried using the card at one of the participating merchants listed on prepaid center.com listed on the back of the card and it was not accepted by the merchant. I submitted my rebate claim after going out of my way to purchase Cafe products to get the rebate - my claim number is ************ and it was declined with no reason and no way to dispute or even get a reason as to why!The claim was submitted, with serial numbers on Feb 20, 2024, and I totally forgot about it. Now, i went to check on the status, and see that it was denied - no email, no info, just denied.The only information provided was "The claim information you have entered has been declined for not meeting the requirements of the program". This is untrue, I rechecked the requirements for receiving a rebate in the program and I meet every requirement. I received a rebate card from this company. I attempted to use it, but it said the card was expired. I had called to make sure the card could be used THROUGH 4/24, not BEFORE 4/24. After investigating the issue with our card vendor, they advised that they needed to verify some information with the customer before they could reissue any funds. We had tried reaching out to the customer on 05/03, 05/07, 05/23, 05/29, and 06/03 to confirm the requested information, but to no avail we have been unable to reach the customer. Our card vendor had also made several attempts to reach out to the customer and had advised that they were unable to reach them either. I bought a stackable washer and dryer and was offered a rebate upon submission of additional information - which I provided. The rebate company has had numerous complaints filed with the BBB. I ordered the product online and had to wait for delivery before I could obtain the necessary information. Once the product was delivered on November 30, 2023, it submitted the requisite information and received countless requests for additional information. Now I am told that because the electronic invoice did not have the company logo on the page, I still needed to submit that. I tried calling the company, but with no success. I found out today that the company, Appliances Connection filed for bankruptcy last month. I received an email this morning from NECO that I have until 3/18/24 to submit the letterhead with logo - during a phone call today, I was told I would be given until 4/17/24 - 5 days from now. I would like to have my rebate of $100 sent without further delay. I would also like to have the manufacturer alerted to this company's practices.Business Response

The customer’s claim was processed and marked paid in our system on 04/19/2024. We had tried following up with the customer to inform her the claim was processed and ensure she had received her redemption email, however, we did not receive a response back from her. Additionally, our card vendor has confirmed that the card was redeemed as a virtual card by the customer’s email address, so we are confident she has received her rebate, we’ve just been unable to confirm with her directly.Initial Complaint

I purchased appliances for our home back in October 2023. At the time, a $400 rebate was available through NECO Alliance which I submitted and was given on a reward card. When I went to use the remaining balance on the card on 4/2/24, I noticed the card had expired on 3/31/24. Why would a reward card have an expiration date on it at all? It should be valid until its used up just like a gift card but if an expiration date is required, then give people at least a year - it's our money. I have tried to reach NECO Alliance to have the remaining balance of $80.54 reissued to me but have called multiple places (all service centers) with no success. I feel it is unfair to be unable to reach the issuing company and speak to them regarding my situation. Very poor customer service with no support for the service center folks to be able to amend a bad situation for the affected customer. I'd also like to know who gets all this "left behind" money - seems like customers are being taken advantage of.Customer Answer

I submitted a claim for the "Bosch Buy More Save More" rebate (Program Code *********) for my Bosch Appliance package purchased November 27, 2023 through Baron's Major Brand Appliances in **************. The claim was submitted, with serial numbers, on February 22, 2024, Claim # *********Z. I only realized that my claim was rejected when checking the status on the Neco Alliance Consumer Rebates website, they did not send me an email. The only information provided was "The claim information you have entered has been declined for not meeting the requirements of the program". This is untrue, I rechecked the requirements for receiving a rebate in the program and I meet ever requirement. Received a card from NECO Alliance that has expired but still has a balance and can not get a hold of anyone at the company to resolve the issue. Phone number not working for the company and no response back by email. I filed all the paperwork for appliance a rebate back in August 2022. It was approved on their website (claim #**********) but I never received my $400. I have called multiple times and never gotten thru. Today I reached ****** who told me that the email with payment instructions was sent in Nov 2022; it was not though. I never received the $400 or an email on how to recover my rebate. He gave me another number to call today to resolve my rebate.
