In January of this same year, 2024, Chase unfairly closed my account due to a check I deposited in my personal Chase account. It all started because I deposited a check in the amount of $3,500 dollars, a check that was written in my father's name, so I deposited it into my personal account and they closed my bank account due to "fraud" when I showed a lot of evidence proving that the The person who originally received the check is my father with his phone number and Chase says it is fraud. I'm already tired, thousands of calls and trips to the bank with my father and still they can't give me a solution.

Chase Bank advertised promotion bonus of $900 for opening new accounts in early 2024. I retrieved the promotion e-mail link and opened both checking and savings account with ******************** according to the steps that they directed in March 2024. I opened the accounts because of the bonus offered by Chase and was willing to comply with all of their terms for such. As of late June 2024 I met all the criteria for the bonus in terms of the requirement for direct deposits, account balance, timeframe. This week when I reached Chase to inquire the status of my bonus, they simply responded multiple times that I was not enrolled in the promotion program (bonus) on their record and refused to honor their offer. I explained and submitted evidence to Chase but they repeatedly refused to honor the bonus as they originally advertised.

Hello,Thank you for looking into this!I reported chase a few months ago for charging overdraft fees even though I have overdraft protection turned off. You all were great, and able to reverse these charges.Unfortunately, the same thing is happening again, with four overdraft charges of $34 ($136 total). I also ran a search to ensure these were the only charges that were not refunded but I realized that of the total of 17 fees (not including the four above), only 12 were refunded, meaning they took an additional unauthorized $170.Please note, the attached screenshot is long, so you will need to scroll through to see all the charges and previous refunds.I would greatly appreciate your help again in getting this total refunded.Thank you again,*********

on July 11th i walked into a chase bank with a check for $59,188 from my insurance company due to a claim, the check endorsed by my adjuster, my mortgage company, my wife and I. we have made deposits like this due to this claim many times before. this morning i wake up and find my account is negative $58K, i call chase and the person i speak to even says that the signatures appear to all be there, when i spoke to a supervisor, they could not explain why it was flagged. so now chase wants to send me a copy of the check to get it re-endorsed but refuses to reverse the charge on my account while i do so. so i have to get the copy of the check, reach out to my adjuster to sign it then mail it to my mortgage company to endorse it and mail it back then go to chase and re-deposit the check, all while my account is in the negative and piling overdraft fees. this is either a scam to get overdraft fees daily, or discrimination against my name.

I was notified of my account closing in June - with no specified reason. I attempted to contact customer service an was unable to understand why my account was closed. A few times the agents simply hung up. What I am most concerned about is my ZELLE account - attempted to cancel my zelle account linked to ********************** and chase is refusing to unlock my number. I contacted ***** customer support and they said they are unable to help me since the block is in chase. I need chase to unlock my cell phone number associated with my old account so that i can take my banking needs elsewhere.

Chase bank is charging an excessive amount of overdraft fees and refuses to refund. I spoke with a customer service representative on Saturday 6/29 and cited The overdraft protection act of 2021 and asked for six of the last overdraft fees $34 eachto be refunded to my account. The representative told me it would be refunded to bring my account back to positive that day. It has not been refund Once making another call, I was told I have reached my allotted funded fees for the year, and it was not going to happen

RE: Checking Account # ********* To ********************** deposited a check and you held the funds. I need that money to buy FOOD for my family. Chase has taken the money from the checking account where the check was drawn. If you do not release those funds to my account upon receipt of this email, CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. Do NOT call me. I have already lost an entire work day calling your business over 15 times and spoken with 15 different Chase agents about this--who all told me that nothing was wrong with my account. That is not true, and now when I call I am transferred to the Fraud department--after spending the entire day on the telephone with your representatives yesterday? This is unacceptable. Release MY funds now (500 dollars) or CLOSE MY ACCOUNT and send the balance of my account to me immediately by overnight mail. WE NEED THAT MONEY TO BUY FOOD.******* ******* DO NOT CALL.

      ****** ******** ******

      ********* *******
      ****** ************ **** ****
      ****************************************************************************
      Dear BBB and ****:

Thank you so much for all of your assistance with Chase.
I have given up on Chase Bank completely and will be closing the last account I have with them, and getting confirmation that the accounts I closed many years ago -- are in fact closed because they showed up as being OPEN even though I already closed them (they are padding their account numbers for their Annual Reports for sure).
Regarding their "response"to this complaint, I have not seen one. Furthermore, they never sign their responses, with a name , and just send bizarre unsigned "anonymous"letters with many blank pages, that state the same things over and over,"Sorry for the inconvenience" Signed: NO ONE
Or to paraphrase, "We have investigated ourselves and find that we have done nothing wrong..."
I must be ***** here and tell you that Chase Bank decided to hire thousands and thousands and thousands (I do not exaggerate)of ex-convicts to work at their bank. They have even set up HR stations just to encourage former convicts to come and work at their bank. The last action they took on this resulted in the hire of just under 5 thousand ex-convicts during one hiring session. This is not normal behavior for a Financial institution who passes confidential financial information over to their employees for their customers. I have experienced extreme and alarming stalking and outside of the bank harassment by criminals who I am certain work at Chase bank.
Because I have been a customer with ******************** Bank since circa 1983, I felt that I should give them a chance to change their ways. They have gone from bad to worse, and I believe that they are now staffed almost entirely with ex-convicts. This does not imply or mean that I do not want to give everyone a second chance, that is now what this systematic hiring of people who were unable to understand the difference between Right and Wrong when it comes to the ****
In the past few years every single manager, including my personal banker, at Chase that I have worked with has left the company.
Forgive this long response but it is my hope that your offices will remember this note when you receive future Chase complaints. They are actually quite a scary company now. The harassment is so extreme I cannot even describe it here. Systematic harassment of elderly woman and widows is a trend as well at that bank.
I hope someone will file a lawsuit against them. They are out of control. I have done what I can to file complaints, and the reason I made this one was to ensure that I would have a third-party witness to their behavior. As you can see, they do not sign their responses, now will they even dare to send a response via this channel--even after I have specifically requested and approved them to do so.
Thank you so much, have a wonderful Summer 2024! Life is short, enjoy every minute of it. ******* *******
      Sincerely,
      ******* *******

I was charged by Chase twice for the same amount, the issue was due to my first card being compromised and a manager canceling it and sending out a new card, which caused them to charge me twice on my old card and new card. The merchant doesnt show the charge twice only Chase due to an error by the manager there. I called to dispute the duplicate charge and the unwillingness to get help from their customer service team was unprofessional and unacceptable! They put my account in the negatives and now I have to wait who knows how long to get my money back! I want my money back ASAP

chase is robbing poor black people by pretending that their funds are fraudulent without any proof and in ignorance of proof They then "close your account" and send you a check in 3 months after they've invested it and had their fun! I knew they were out to get me from the moment they started asking *** questions for a regular deposit with no withdrawal request
