1/2/24 - I filed a claim for services not rendered. Claim ID Number: ***************. Service is "the fee of $188 charged for a new patient visit which is a comprehensive evaluation of 60 minutes." This payment was never to simply hold a spot, as (1) the vendor states that isn't necessary on website, (2) the contract specifically states what the payment is for, (3) the vendor's waiting room is accessible to anyone at any time without payment or scheduling (i.e., not exclusive). My evidence was not accepted, despite me offering it.2/2/24 - $188 charge reappears on my account and agent claims Chase lost dispute because vendor submitted document and said I was a no show. A no show would forfeit my deposit per the contract, but I did show up for my appointment on 1/2. My evidence was finally accepted, showing I was at my appointment on time. I'm told to check back in ***** hours for status of claim.2/5/24 - Chase agent says claim can't be pursued because **** doesn't allow same claim twice, despite now confirming that the vendor lied to the bank. This is shift from 2/2 agent. Then, supervisor shifts again to say claim can't be pursued because vendor held spot. I didn't pay for a spot to be held; I paid $188 for a 60 minute comprehensive evaluation as per the contract. I didn't receive that service. Supervisor didn't state ID and his name was inaudible, but call started 8:34am PST and lasted 1hr:1m. He was incredibly rude with no intention to view evidence countering the new reason he gave for why claim couldn't be pursued before he abruptly ended the call.If Chase had collected all the relevant evidence prior to 2/2/24, they would not have lost my only right to claim against this vendor as the evidence would have shown that (1) I was at my appointment on time, (2) the contractual fee of $188 was for a 60 minute evaluation not just a spot, and (3) the vendor didn't fulfill any of their obligations.Business Response

I am an 18 year old girl and was excited to open up my own checking and savings account. I went to the bank, I opened both accounts, and before I even received my debit card the account was flagged for fraud. I went into the Chase bank I opened the account at and the woman there told me that the account was already closed. I believe my account was wrongfully flagged and unfairly closed. I would like someone to review this information and help me to resolve this issue.Business Response

I have been a Chase Customer for decades with multiple accounts. I wanted to open a new business account and had seen a $300 bonus for opening a new business account. I opened one in 9/28/23. I was not told about the bonus and had to tell the banker that I wanted it - he did not tell me the requirements so I thought if I opened it, with the $2K minimum and did hte 6 transactions, I would get the $300 credit. When I went back on 12/13/23, the another banker ***************** told me to call the help number and they said I needed a rolling $2K minimum which I was not told (and could have met). I called the number he gave me on 12/13 and they said I had to go to the branch and ask the manager for an exception. I emailed ***** on 12/13 to no response. I emailed him again on 1/12/24 again with no response. Then he texted me on 2/2/24 saying" Hi ******!! Sorry I wish I had better news about the coupon but I asked that same day and was told we missed the deadline. But Ill keep my eyes and ears out for another coupons you might be able to take advantage in the future. How all is well!! ??" which makes no sense that he took 2 months to get back to me. I feel like the promotion was a bait and switch and that the staff at that chase did not support me in getting all the benefits.Business Response

Chase bank received an incoming domestic wire that was suppose to be credited to my account. They marked my incoming wire as fraud. Upon doing further research, this seems to be a major reaccourance with multiple chase customers. As a chase customer, we rely on ******************** to give us access to our money when it is received by chance. Withholding funds, which are rightfully mine, seems to be fraud on Chases part.Business Response

when i opened my account with ********************** bank there was overdraft on the checks and they would give a check 3 days to clear. along the way over draft disappeared and they started bouncing checks with no notice, which is fine but when they bounce a check they remove the check from the statement as if the check never happened and there is no record of it as a bounced check. the statement should show a reversal or show the bounced check in some way. when i called the bank and asked how ovedraft works or is calculated they said there is no calculation or reasoning - it is completely up to the bank. so this month i sent someone to make my mortgage payment and then to do a deposit at chase bank, they went to make a cash payment into my account and it was refused, and he was told only the owner of the account can deposit cash - so he left bank, went and got a money order and wen back to bank and deposited money order so mortgage check would clear. i checked account and it showed "present balance" was enough money for check to clear. The following day (Today) the bank bounced the check. i believe the bank should not be bouncing all these checks with out an explanation- if not going to clear check on deposited funds then check should be held for more than 24 hrs - it used to be after 3 days check would bounce. this is a mortgage check i write every single month for the past 20 years, not a random check. The reference to this account is ending in ****Business Response

I came to the chase atm as i always do to deposit my checks into my account. I deposited ***** in cash and the atm malfunctioned and gave and error and never released the money or deposited into my account. I received a receipt and a number to call to file a claim. I filed a claim and chase offered me a temporary credit. Weeks later they removed it. I called to see what happened and they claimed only $40 was in surplus at the atm. I could not believe this was happening. I am barely able to pay my rent now and i am in fear of an eviction due to this loss. Chase bank claims told me they couldn't help me and sent me to the branch where this occurred. Then a banker told me they only said that to get me off the phone. I went tot the police to file a police report and they couldn't help because they stated no crime was committed. The bank said i was pretty much out of luck. I have been a customer of ********************** for over 10 years and i never thought this would happen. If my issues are not resolved i will be going through small claims or reaching out to the media.Customer Answer
