I have been with Chase for years and need help with a mandatory download Chase is requiring. Unfortunately the new terminal we had to purchase since they said our other one we have will no longer work will not give us an admin icon to start the download process. I have called several time at all hours of the days holding a minimum of 2 hours and still have not been connected. As a retail business, I will be open tomorrow and because I can't get any service I will not be able to accept credit cards. Chase has really gone down hill and I will be looking for another bank for my business. Sad... but true.

This bank is very authoritarian. They closed private checking account with no good reason. Caused many problems with my direct deposits. The local branch is very unprofessional. There a guy who thinks he's the branch manager and is not. I left a message for local manager to call me. So far I haven't heard from her.

I was customer for 20 years. I deposited close to a million dollars or more. This branch doesn't give a good name to the bank.

My elderly mother has three accounts with Chase - checking, savings, CD. Chase rep helped her setting up all her accounts. A few months later, she was being charged $25 fee each month. After inquiry, Chase told her that they did not link her new CD account with her two other accounts when her CD was setup at the branch office, and that’s why the bank system was charging $25 each month for her combined balance going below $15000, even though her actual total balance always has been far exceeding $15000. Chase fixed their mistake and reimbursed only one month fee of $25. They refused returning the fees they have been charging other months, because it was bank’s policy. Even after this issue was escalated to the management, they still refused and told her that they will no longer respond to her anymore on this issue. Apparently, this is their standard policy that reimbursement is given only once and that the same policy is enforced with all other Chase customers. So they make mistake and charge customer with fees until it is discovered, and then they only return partial fees they had charged to customers. This is a crime!

I have banked with chase for more than 30 years and I’m about done. They won’t increase my atm withdrawal in accounts with over 100k in them for one thing. Very difficult when traveling. But today was my last straw. The last. My husband of 37 years died at Christmas. For decades he has personally complained about a phantom safety deposit box we have not had since the bank we had it in was torn down in the 1990s!!!! In a different town we haven’t lived in for 20 years!!! Just before he died he went up there in person because phone calls go unanswered and were lied too, and he was told no more bills. He wa stole an investigation would be done for refunds of prior monies removed but honestly he became extremely ill and died with in 2 months and a safety deposit box was the last thing in my mind. Today I get a bill. Why it has the wrong city. And just his name in it I have no idea. I call the number which never gets answered. I’m told by a recording to call an 800 number. A woman says go to a different branch since this one won’t help me. She can’t see we have any safe deposit box.nurse I’m aware I don’t have one. I give her the size. The box number in the bill and ask her where this is even supposed to be since the bank that we had one we emptied and they tore it down and we never opened another one. Ever. I not only want an apology for stressing me out, I want a refund of every penny you have stolen from me over the last 20 plus years. I remember it was 75$ for a while now the phantom box is 130$. Nope. I’m a single woman raising grandchildren because my daughter also died and this is how you treat me after decades. I’m not wealthy but have close to 500k in that bank. I also have accounts at ***** ***** and I’m about ready to let them have it. Do something now and quit giving me a run around!!! I’d venture to say over the years you easily owe me 2,500$ and that’s being conservative!

I filed a dispute that Chase is clearly in the wrong about. I have evidence the merchant cancelled and said would refund but never refunded and they refuse to refund this transaction as fraud. They don’t do the right thing. They make arbitrary decisions, call at 9 pm to request documents and then decide against you the next day while their website doesn’t even work, all agents are overseas with zero morals, and generally disgusting service.

Horrible! After 25+ years; I finally stopped using my Chase credit card (25k), and switched to another large bank that values its customers.

Just trying to login to pay a bill involved trying to get someone at Chase (by phone) to authorize my login. That took 20+ minutes, after trying to explain why I called, to an offshore rep who had no idea what to do: Asked for a stateside rep....NOPE...asked for a supervisor...NOPE. This occurred 6 times in 6 months, which is totally unacceptable, and I always wound up mailing in my payments instead of doing it the easy and modern way via the net (Geez, since I don't use the mails anymore, I had to go to the PO to buy a stamp.)

      Adios Chase, and good riddance.

Chase Bank / Chase **** and ****** use unscrupulous business dealings. Shady, Sketchy and unethical. I had an ****** account I never used until August 8 2024. I had an ****** Credit card ending in **** but cancelled it in 2021 and ripped it up. August 2024 I purchased some items from ****** and was offered a free one month trial of ****** ***** Video and I would receive free shipping. I signed up for it. ****** charged my ***** pay account $8.99 when it was supposed to be free and then set it up to have recurring monthly charges. I never gave them my ***** pay account information as I never use it. I gave them my ******* *** **** Card ending in ****. The purchases were supposed to go on my ******* *** **** but they went on the ****** Chase **** account ending **** w/o my authorization. ******* *** **** was set up as my default payment on ****** acct. Later I purchased more products and they had changed my default payment credit card to ****** Chase **** w/o my knowledge so those purchases went on that card. When I did not see the charges on my Capital One, I called Chase **** and was told that the card ending in **** was active. I told them to cancel it and not send me another card. They sent me another card ending in **** claiming my card was stolen. I called back and told them to cancel that card and not send me any cards and they sent another card ending in ****. In addition to ****** charging my ***** Pay account $8.99 to recur each month, they charged my ******* *** **** $147.31 after offering me an annual membership of $139.00. They also charged the ****** Chase **** card $15.89 for 1 month. They disabled my ability to see the ****** Chase **** account information online today 9/14/24. When I was on the phone with one of several reps - they shut it down so I could not have access.
Chase **** disabled my ability to review the accounts online. I am a senior that feels helpless over these unscrupulous business practices and shenanigans.

If I could leave a negative star for a review, then Chase Bank would receive it! They are the absolute worse. I received some money that was from my Grandparent. It was a decent amount in size and the money came from my Grandparent's stock account. The stock account was *** ****** and they do business through ************* who is responsible for selling the shares and disbursing the funds. Upon my receipt of the check, I went to the bank (Chase Bank) where I had opened up an account prior to deposit the check. A two week hold was placed on the check. The bank gave me date of 9/2/24 on which the hold would be released. On that date, the bank did not release the funds stating that the funds were not verified. The bank proceeded to give me the run around and informed me that I had to wait. To further insult me, the bank informed me that they had to make sure that the check wasn't a scam. The local branch requested my documents to prove that the check was from a stock account from my grandparent. I provided Chase bank with everything they needed. They restricted my checking account and wasn't able to provide me with their reason for the restriction. The bank instructed me to call and verify the funds, which was why the check was on hold. They were supposed to be the ones verifying the funds. I called them daily for answers and a resolution and nothing happened. Chase decided to close my bank account and informed me that they were issuing a check to me. ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS CAME FROM CHASE BANK'S BACK OFFICE! The question and problem that I have is this: How are they issuing any funds to me if they claim that the funds were not verified? Why did they close my account? Why have they not given me my money? Their actions were discriminatory. Chase bank kept my money because I still haven't received it. They have caused me a financial hardship and because of their negligence, I had some missed opportunities that Chase should be made to compensate me for.
