We have wasted weeks going back and forth with the people at the auto loan department. A simple move to a different state and a marriage name change are apparently too difficult for these goobers to handle. The county tax office asked for the name on the title to be changed, given that my wife has had her license and other documents changed after our wedding. They needed the lienholder to authorize the name change before issuing the new title. No big deal right? Well, Chase insisted they need a form that doesn't exist to be sent from the county. We went in circles over this for weeks. The county had no idea what they were talking about. Someone at Chase promised to do "due diligence" and resolve the issue. Nothing ever happened. Finally, we asked the county to make up a fake form on county letterhead, and Chase finally took their hands out of their pockets. Why does Chase think it knows more about the procedure in this state than the officials working in that states government offices? Just absolute obstinance, beyond all reason.

I am a 72-yr old real estate broker. I own two 1-acre commercial parcels of land in the state of ****. One parcel is vacant. The other was purchased in May, 2024. It has a 12-yr old JPMorgan Chase fully operational bank which covers the entire pad. We followed the JPMC requirements at closing to transfer future rent payments to our local bank and have not received any rent over the last 3 months. JPMC owes at least $27,692.49 not including late fees and attorney fees today and the debt is increasing.
I am a small business owner and would like to retire soon. My family and I can not afford to continue on this road without monthly rent payments AND an explanation from JPMC as to why the payments have not been made. We are concerned about the legal fees expended thus far (and in the future). We feel helpless dealing with the largest bank in the US. We hope this information will be of value to anyone considering acquiring a JPMC property.

This bank told me that they would not do business with me when I tried to get a hold lifted from my mobile deposit. The foreign speaking representative placed me on hold to verify the check. He comes back to the phone and states that Chase can no longer do business with me due to the check being invalid. I am a school teacher and this check was issued from my school district so the check was good. I asked what has happened for me to receive this information. He proceeds to say you will receive a letter. I took the check to the bank that issued the check and they cashed it and I opened up an account with that bank. Please do not bank with this bank they are rude and they have outsourced their customer service department to a foreign country ! Worst bank ever !

Despite being a part owner of *****, they have been giving my son and myself a complete runaround. 3 days after funds were deposited they pulled them back out. They SAY that the originating request came from my son's bank. However, his bank shows no such request and funds HAVE NOT been returned to his bank. Chase says they can't check it, ***** says Chase has to check it. Basically we're out $50. Nobody will follow through.

Spoke with a gentleman who's name I'll shorten to R today, August 10th at around 2:38pm CST. He calls, asks for the full card number, last 4 digits, last 3 digits on back of card, asks to hang up and call me back back to confirm the phone number I'm literally calling from is MY number, then asks for my mother's maiden name. This is all AFTER I already input my card number, 4 digits, and 3 digit code during the beginning of the call for the robot security system at the start of the call. 3-4 security steps would make sense, 8 is ridiculous. I got frustrated and told him to be swift because I'm trying to place an important order that my card is detecting for fraud in my OWN city. He got emotionally upset, and hung up. I then called back, got transferred 3 times to J who was slow, but eventually fixed it.

BEWARE! I have been with Chase for 25 years and because of a few chargebacks (I thought they had my back), They canceled my credit card without notice until 48 hours later. My check was deposited I paid my credit card and then they closed it and froze my checking. My credit score is in the 800's I have never missed a payment on anything and now they have put a lock on me getting another account or credit card. What the actual.... I am intelligent and blessed to have found another bank to help me. Shame on you CHASE!! I'd never suggest banking with them or having anything to do with Chase JP Morgan Stanley the whole lot is scary. I think because I'm an old lady now and live on SS they didn't want me at their bank any more prejudice and ageism at its finest

Made the mistake of sending my online payment to a chase credit card that has not been valid for several years. Usually in such a case if payment is sent in , it would be returned to rhe bank I sent in from (Truist in this case). Despite the fact that Chase acknowledges they received the payment, and I have no active credit card there is a process of 30 business days followed by 10 additional business days to get the money back. I understand if a complex, confusing investigation is in order, but will have to wait almost 2 months for them to rectify something simple. The customer service reps were not helpful, unsympathetic, and dismissive. Will never do business with them again.

My experience with Chase up to now had been great. Never had any issues until a few weeks ago, probably a month ago now when I started to the process to change my name after getting married. I've been doing this one account/provider at a time. I called and the representative I spoke to said that they just needed to mail me this form that I would then be able to send them via secure message. Once I received the form and try to send it via secure message I found that there is no name change option when sending a secure message. So I selected a generic option that said account change. Once I sent a copy of the form and one of the three (the form said I could choose one of three) requested documents to prove my name change I thought that would be it. They messaged me back saying that they would also need a signature card that they would have to physically send to me, I would have to sign, and then I'd have to physically send back. When I finally got the signature card, they requested that I also send my marriage certificate after the first form made it clear that any one of the three would be enough. One of the three was a copy of my ID, which is what I choose because I thought it would be the easiest. I understand wanting a copy of the marriage certificate as that is what everyone asks for. What I don't understand is why say it's optional on the first form and then say it's mandatory in the second. MAKE UP YOUR MIND Chase. Which is it?
I haven't even completed the name change processes because I refuse to mail my marriage certificate to anyone other than passport processing because they're the only ones I trust to send it back. I've heard too many horror stories. This entire process is antiquated. One of my other banks changed my name over the phone in 10 minutes. I only had to answered security questions to prove it was me. I live in an area where the closest Chase branch is more than 2hrs away so I thought that would be easier to do it online. Boy how wrong I was.
