I have been a Chase Customer for 5 years, On 12/12/23 I discovered Fraud on my with my ACH number , I spoke with the fraud team. They said it would be in my best interest to open a new account which I did. on 12/22/24 my account and is restricted and I can not access funds to go holiday day shopping for my children. And the powers that be at Chase who were so generous allowed me take a $100 out of $600. I called the Executive Office and I tell the person assigned to my case the situation and I quote" what's the point of this call" . Bottom line there a lot of people working in that company that have power trips by freezing peoples account and then they just say well its in the deposit recovery form. what is even more insulting is they treat and talk to like your criminal. I see why online banks are rising in customers because the old traditional banks are not loyal to their customers..

I cannot download 2023 credit card reports for tax purposes as I continually receive an error message that Chase cannot find those dates. My continued calls to Chase don't work because Chase does not care. On hold for over 30 minutes and when I speak to someone they pretend to be concerned only to put me on hold again for another 30 minutes. I know for a fact also that Chase is refusing to hire anyone clearly because they are greedy and do not care about their customers. After being a business and credit card holder of Chase for over 8 years, I will be cancelling my account and do everything in my power to encourage people NEVER to bank with Chase. By far, the worst bank in the country. Also, If you try to call an individual bank, you'll get an AI recording stating to call back later as they are busy. Just the absolute worst bank in the USA. I hate Chase and you should too. Oh and yes, I will be closing my account with them.

I have not made a purchase with this card in several years. The account is past due but now I go and check the entire balance is interest and late fees…Absolutely not. I will pay what is owed but not 2-3 years in late fees from a card I been stopped paying

I’ve never had a problem with chase bank until now. I accidentally made an incredibly large payment from my chase checking to my chase credit card. I caught this about 12 hours later and immediately called. Crying because this is about bill time, I was granted a refund. I called later to inquire about time line and was told 24-48 hours. Waited. Called 2 days later and was assured I would have the fund back in checking that night. Did not happen. Called yet again, and was told 24-48, but then was handed to a supervisor whom told me this is 5-7 business days. From the same financial institution that is excessive. They couldn’t explain why. They said you can cancel a payment anytime, but the app nor the website grant that option! And almost every FI does when making a payment. I was lied to by chases customer service repeatedly. There is no cancel payment option online or in app. No disclosures when making a payment - if needing to cancel blah blah blah. You get the run around. I understand this was my mistake, however I got no help, no empathy, no truth. This left me in a horrid mess. And at this point I don’t think I want to stay with chase. This wasn’t ethical in the least bit. MISINFORMATION causes problems. In addition this is going to screw my credit.

I recently had an exceptionally unpleasant encounter with a Chase Bank employee named ***** ******** that compelled me to share my experience. Unfortunately, the level of service I received was shockingly poor and left me deeply dissatisfied.
I visited the Chase Bank branch located at Vancouver Washington on 1/8/2024 to cash a Chase Bank Cashier's Check resulting from the sale of my vehicle. As a disabled individual recovering from recent fusion surgery due to a broken back, I approached the transaction with the hope of a smooth and considerate process. However, my experience with Ms. ******** was far from satisfactory.
Upon informing Ms. ******** about my recent surgery just two weeks prior, I was made to wait for an excruciating 30 minutes while standing, despite no other customers being present in the bank. Ms. ******** displayed a rude and brazen attitude throughout the interaction, continuously questioning my decision to cash the check at the same bank.
To my disbelief, Ms. ******** proceeded to invade my privacy by demanding personal and professional details. Despite providing my employer's name and my own name, she went as far as to insist on knowing my job title. When I hesitated, she threatened to withhold my funds and even threatened to involve law enforcement if I didn't leave the premises immediately.
This treatment is not only unprofessional but also discriminatory and deeply distressing. As a disabled individual, I expected a level of empathy and understanding that was clearly absent in this situation. It is disheartening to think that such behavior is tolerated within the Chase Bank community.
I urge Chase Bank to thoroughly investigate this incident and take appropriate corrective action to prevent the recurrence of such disgraceful treatment towards customers, especially those with disabilities. No one should be subjected to such a humiliating and degrading experience while conducting routine banking transactions.

Without warning, Chase lowered our credit limit $30k. This resulted in a 32 point credit score drop on our end. Customers should be made aware of changes to their account that will effect their credit score with advanced notice. Terrible practice and will be closing all our Chase accounts.

We obtained a British Airways Chase credit card in 2022 with the intention of capitalizing on the enticing offer of 100,000 Avios points for British Airways travel. As of January 2024, our experience has been nothing short of exasperating. We have diligently contacted both British Airways and Chase on numerous occasions in an attempt to resolve the perplexing issue of our Avios points failing to materialize in our British Airways account, despite every statement affirming their transfer.
Today, on January 6, 2024, I reached out to Chase, and a representative named ** informed me that the points were no longer being funneled into Avios due to an alleged choice to transition to a non-U.S. executive club, a decision that we unequivocally did not make. It is crucial to emphasize that our status as U.S. citizens renders any motive for such a switch completely baseless.
Subsequently, I requested our British Airways account number from **. Regrettably, I was subjected to extended periods of being placed on hold, with wait times extending up to 15 minutes, during her purported search for the requested information. After an exasperating hour of fruitless communication, I was transferred to an escalation department, where I endured an additional 45+ minutes on hold.
Upon contacting British Airways directly, I was apprised of the necessity of having an account number to access our Avios. The only member number I possess was provided, yet it shockingly revealed a complete absence of Avios points associated with it. This raises serious questions about the whereabouts of our Avios points. Who is siphoning them away? Why are we unable to procure the account number for the Avios account into which all our points are allegedly being transferred? It stands to reason that if these points are indeed being transferred, the requisite account number should be readily accessible. However, ** asserted she possessed zero access to this crucial information.
      Bait and Switch tactics!!

I went into a branch of Chase and told the bankers that I am specifically opening this account for a wire transfer as I am selling my home. They guided me through the process and opened me up an account which I was assured would work. When the money was supposed to be wired it was discovered they opened up an account that does not accept any wire transfers! Since the house was sold I needed the transfer for the purchase of my new home. throughout the day I called customer service over seven times and each time received a different response. Most of the times I was told that the money was already refunded and returned, and they can see it was even in possession of the title company. This was all a lie. The final time I was finally told it would take 3 to 5 business days to return the funds. When I told them that it's unacceptable because I will lose my $10,000 deposit on my new home and not have a home All they can say was that they were sorry. If this was something of my mistake I would have been upset at myself, but when you go to a banker for guidance they are supposed to know what they are doing and ensure what you were trying to accomplish will be possible! I don't know if it's the lack of training or just that they do not care being a national company but I would never advise anyone to use this bank! They do not have knowledge of their services and do not care when they make a mistake. Even worse when you're trying to get answers The customer service do not have knowledge of the company as well. I was told multiple times that the return was already funded and in the title's account. Other times I was told it could take 3 to 5 business days and one time I was even told it would take 7 to 10 business days! When it comes to something as important as your money choosing a bank like this would be the biggest mistake you can make! I see why they are called Chase because my only experience with them involved me having to chase my money!!!

I currently have 2 late payments on a credit card that are not accurate I had fraudulent charges on my account that I disputed and received credit only for it to be reversed I ended up paying this account and continue to pay this account. These payments were a result of the fraud that should have been cleared from my account. I

I would give Chase 0 stars if I could. I have done business with Chase for years! I have 2 bank accounts, my son has a bank account, he's in high-school. I have 2 credit cards from Chase, WELL today I had a "credit review" and they lowered my credit limit. After raising it just a few months ago. They were questioning me like they were the IRS. Asking me how I pay my bills, and things they shouldn't matter. What should matter to them is that I PAY my bills on time. Obviously, I do or they wouldn't have raised my credit limit a few months back. Not that's its their business but during Christmas my balances go up and then in March I get a bonus and I pay all of my cards down. My problem is how they can treat their customer's this way when all I have done is let them make money off of me. I can't wait until March to close ALL of my accounts with them. Horrible business and the reps are even worse.
