On Monday, I chose to open a checking account to subsequently open a first checking bank account (for my 10-year-old), who is going on a trip within a week. The banker at one location told me he couldn't help me, that I had to open both accounts online through the app, and gave me a folder of paperwork to go home and manage by myself. I thought customer service was odd and useless, but I attempted it. Monday, I opened both accounts from the app. However, I could not move ANY funds over to the child account from the main account as it continued to give an error message. I tried every technical suggestion, but there were no resolutions. The branch attempted as well. A "ticket was placed on Tuesday afternoon." I was told I would receive a call in 2-3 business days. Today is Friday, the end of business day 3. No callback. I was told by a new branch that I could bring my child in to deposit the money to fund it. Brought her in, and then they said, "Oh, we made a mistake. She can't deposit into her account either." I called customer service and went into the branch over 10 times collectively between the two options this week.
We closed the First Checking account and reopened one with a branch manager to have the same issue persist. It is a glitch with Chase and First Checking. However, the IT people and no one in the phone customer service department can resolve the issue. Chase opened a nonworking account for me, and there is no urgency to fix it. They tell me to wait for a phone call? I have zero desire to BEG YOU to take my money. I said, "No one can resolve a product that doesn't work? How does this lack of urgency and attention show confidence in banking my money with you?" I easily took my money to a bank next door, then opened a kids' checking account that works within 20 minutes of my time. Will also close out my Disney credit card and never bank here again. They are untrustworthy, have terrible customer service, and are unreliable with money.

CHASE IS DEFINITELY A CORRUPTED BANK AND THE PEOPLE THAT WORK AT THEIR OFFICE. YOU ARE ABLE TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT ONLINE YOU GET APPROVE AND THEN 24 TO 48 HOURS LATER AFTER YOU MAKE A DEPOSIT THEY CLOSE THE ACCOUNT. THEN IT TAKES HALF OF THE MONTH TO RETURN YOUR MONEY TO YOU, WHY IS THAT. THEY ARE CORRUPT. I HOPE SOMEONE WOULD FILE A LAWSUITS AGAINST YOU WHERE YOU LOSE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR THE NASTY WORK YOU DO.

You can set up a payment plan but they somehow turn it off for a couple of months so I missed a couple of scheduled payments...how I'm not sure since the payment plan was supposed to end in November 2026 so why was it turned March and April of 2025. I did not trunk off the scheduled payment plan but when I went to check in the website sure enough it was off...and they are quick to report.it so your credit rating goes down...I will never open a credit card with them again.

Chase decides to just close bank accounts without any reason. I have called then when I got the email and they couldn't give me a reason or even had a reason. I have done nothing to cause this. I loved the bank because they offered the chase ****** card. Im so mad. DO NOT OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT THERE. THEY WILL CLOSE IT WITHOUT REASON OR WARNING.

We’ve been banking with Chase for 15 years and my pension goes in from the state of *******, but then they hold my check for 10 days business days because they said it could be a bad check. They’ve been doing this now for 3 1/2 years when we asked to have it released, they refused to release it. I don’t believe after so many years with the bank And thousands and thousands of dollars in transactions that they can’t even accommodate their customers. Then when you go to customer service, it’s one lousy excuse after the other. I needed my funds released immediately that I transferred from my state account because I had major surgery and they basically said oh well too bad there’s nothing we can do about it. well there is something I can do about it number one. I’m gonna go ahead and close all three of my accounts with Chase And then I’ll be done with the rude nasty people that all they care about is greed and money with this multi billion dollar company. They could care less whatsoever about their customers. It’s all about them and specific rules that any role can be changed. I’m just blown away no matter how long you’ve been with a company. You’re nothing to them and they just prove that today with the way they treated me! I’m closing my checking, pension account, and my major credit card with them and I’ll go to someone that actually cares maybe a small time bank or credit union. I’m done cow tailing down to these huge corporate corporations when all they care about is greed and money.

Chase bank employees care about the money not the customers. Worst bank I've ever dealt with.

Here We Go, Ladies and Gentlemen…
Well, here we go. The reality of the “quick approval.”
They’ll approve you in minutes—boom, $10,000 in credit. Use it the same day, no problem, right?
      Wrong.
You want to actually access your card? Your account? Your info?
Get ready to tell three different people your:
      • Social Security
      • Full name
      • Phone number
      • Birthdate
Everything needed to steal your identity—multiple times—in one hour.
And guess what I found out after all that?
I still can’t access my card. I can’t even see the **** number.
      Why?
      “Security reasons.”
      You serious?
To top it off, I’m in a rough spot—my name’s not even on the mailbox right now.
So let’s all take a guess what that means…
Yeah. Card might never show up.
      ?
And just when I thought it couldn’t get worse…
It started to become a nightmare I couldn’t even imagine.
I’m just trying to update my information to make sure it’s correct—
and now I have to call them again… for the FOURTH TIME… in the same hour.
I’m literally trying to set up my account and access my details like a normal person—
but Chase has me calling back to back like I’m begging to use a card they gave me.
I’m not this desperate for $10,000 in credit.
I can get that somewhere else—easily.
I’m here trying to build a relationship, not juggle around like a clown.
Chase handles billions of dollars, and this is the process they give you for trusting them?
We’re all just trying to build credit, build trust, and use the system the right way.
But if every single log-in means another phone call, another code, another block—this isn’t gonna work for me.
I might have to cancel this card before I even use it.

These are awful things at this bank? The lie and they ***** the little guy so the rich guys get their ***** kissed. I had a dirtbag give me BAD INFO to pay a bill. This jerk caused me 73 points on my credit score. Not even an apology. The froze my checking a few years back when they didn't recognize a charge. They did this, not bothering to let me know. I had a doctor appointment. Took a cab. Could not pay. I called the jerks. They acted like it was my fault. They only had to call, text me. But these lazy jerks only care about wealthy. THEN a SCAM company called **********.COM that I needed a question answered. As soon as you go to them, a window pops up saying for $5 you can speak to an attorney. Then before you know it. you are WAITING. And WAITING. Noboy shows up so I cut out. I am sick, disabled. Alone. Living on $800 a month. State of ******* steals $300 a month from me. Only Republicans get help here. So I have trouble walking. Run out of food every month. Food Stamps only covers so much. So after about 6 months I look to see how much money I had in my account when I noticed ********** was stealing $55 a month from me. I knew nothing about`. Nothing was on any page I saw on their site. They steal MILLIONS like this. I contacted Chase. At first I received it back. $330. Then I saw it go down. The ROTTEN ****** at Chase let them keep $220. Let them keep scamming people. I figured out **********.com must keep their money at Chase. Thats why they PROTECTED THEM. The scum at Chase belong in prison.

      Worst relationship banking experience
They only make sure they are not liable for transactions so they make sure they record all calls to make sure you admit your personal liabilities so you can not go back anytime and submit any claims .
