I have had a recent experience with JP Morgan Chase Bank's fraud department that is unlike previous service. I am a 40 year client and I have never had this happen before now. I filed a claim for fraud after several charges appeared on my bank account that were not charges that I made or authorized. I was sent a new card, but never received the credit to my account. I called the Fraud department three times and was asked different questions each time. The fraudulent charges overdrew my account. I was first told that a temporary credit would appear and if I needed to make a withdrawal I could do so at a branch, however, the credit was never applied. I was later told that the fraudulent charges had to post first before I could be credited back. I then received overdraft notices. As a long time customer it's disappointing to be treated this way when I am not at fault. I implore Chase to review their Fraud Departments policies and would suggest that they establish a better way to communicate with customers who have been wronged by a criminal.

I was a regular chase user. I have always paid off my cards that I frequently use on time. I currently have 0 debt with chase. My credit score is 803. I applied for a credit card and was declined. So now that hard inquiry is going to hurt my score for literally no reason. I have called several times to speak with a supervisor because no one on the phone can provide me with a reasonable outcome. At this point, I’m going to probably cancel all of my cards with Chase because there is no reason for my application getting declined when I have literally 0 debt, no delinquent payments, and a 803 credit score according to trans union (which is the company they use for credit checks).

I visited the downtown Casa Grande, Az. branch to order a new ATM card, mine is damaged, and get some info on a past email offer. First, the gentleman in front of me (elderly, not comfortable in the surrounding) was wanting to talk to his advisor, he told them he had called several times to the branch and did not ever get a call back, then a teller told him, "yeah, that happens" and grinned... THAT SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN AND NEVER BE THE ANSWER, which he was told switched roles, then they were very unhelpful and ending by telling him he would have to go online to get his info... very poor customer service. Then when I asked about an email offer, I received, but lost, was told it was kind of nothing that could happen now, I believe the teller sensed my total displeasure after witnessing this whole encounter got me to a banker, which pretty much told, go home and look online too, very poor, very sad that people put in places to help and provide customer service, don't/won't help.

They change the terms of the contract. They breach their contract. They arbitrarily go back and reduce credit limits when they feel they have concern, even though there’s no reason to be concerned. It should’ve illegal.

The charge on my account was authorized by me and done illegally. I contacted the Chase customer service and put the transaction in dispute, and changed the card at the same time. The dispute was rejected based on the fact that I had a business with the compony before. Its totally illigal.

The Chase Bank reopened the dispute again because the Chase Bank reached a decision without first reviewing the facts that a Chase CSR told me to acquire. I called ******** Travel on 8/4/2023 at 4:50 PM–5:17 PM
with a Chase person on the phone ********, and we confirmed on the phone that you have 24 hours to cancel any cruise, exactly as they canceled prior cruises for me, which I have proof of. Al was just interested in receiving payment for the booking; therefore, he chose not to cancel the cruise with ***** ********* Cruise. I disagree with the Chase investigation See Chase notes "You disputed the charges because you believed the merchant didn't provide the services you purchased. Based on the information available, we found that you either received the service of the merchant or made them available for your use. We can't confirm your due credit because the services you purchased were received or available to use."
On June 3, 2023, I called ******** Travel to arrange a ******** ****** Line cruise and was scammed out of the cruise of my choice. Al informed me that the pricing he provided me for roughly $3454.00 was for two people, not three. I was able to book a cruise for three people with ********, proving that AL at ******** was cheating me.
I called ***** ********* and spoke with **** ***** and ****** from there, neither of whom returned my call or email. I'm not sure how they booked the sail date on June 3, because we booked on June 4th, which was a Sunday for me to sail from Vancouver. It appears they changed the date to June 3rd. As a result, they may be compensated. ***** ********* had a difficult time finding the sailing dates.

I have two Chase credit cards (****** ***** and ********) with rental car protection. I happened to book with one, and picked up/paid deposit using the other. Had someone read end us while in the car. Chase is attempting to deny the claim because the charges are on two separate cards, even though they are on the same account, same bank, same rental car protection.
I have been a Chase member for years and carry a substantial balance. While I have always spoken highly of the organization, I will be cancelling and transferring all accounts, credit cards, and investments. Very poor customer service.

I had been with them for 20 years with no problems. Recently I fell for a scam thinking I got a job but it turns out the paycheck I tried to deposit was bad. Chase rejected the check which I understand but I didn't try to get any money from it till it was cleared. After they rejected the check they just closed my accounts and told me I could start up new one. Fine I did that then the next day they closed that one too. Had been a loyal customer and they instantly dumped me because I have been in a vulnerable position of needing a job and got scammed once.

Chase was already sued for excessively charging OD fees and it seems they're at it again. Twice last year I had an autopay hit when I had nothing else pending and it was returned yet the other day when I had several small items pending from 2 days prior Chase decided to immediately clear the autopay and leave everything else to bounce. When I questioned their motivation CS claimed it was due to it being autopay but had no explanation why two times prior it was returned when there was no motivation for them to pay. This was an obvious blatant attempt to scam me out of nearly $200 in OD fees. After a decade with Chase I'm closing my 3 accounts and reporting this everywhere I can think of hopefully to help others avoid this dishonest bank. Another lawsuit will be coming soon I'm sure if this has become another widespread issue with them.
