Currently still dealing with an issue with a Credit card and have been for 3 months. I have talked to over 10 different people and submitted the documents they need 5 separate times. Every time I was told to wait 30 days for a response.
After the first 3 attempts and after 3 hours of being in the phone with them I wad finally told all the documents were submitted correctly and I’ll hear back in 30 days so guess what almost 30 days later I get a letter it’s not right again, I had a branch manager help me out every singe time we submitted them.
I was told it is impossible to talk to the department that handles the CC issue and the best they can do is submit them again and wait 30 days. So attempt number 4 failed again and attempt number 5 failed as well every time having a branch manager help us send them in. Even being so freaking clueless as to send the documents to the fax number that JPM gave us and having JPM reply 2-3 weeks later with oh we don’t know what number that is.

ITS THE NUMBER YOU GAVE US ON THE DOCUMENT YOU SENT TO FILL OUT.
We have been discriminated against and been told they can’t do anything because we sent it to the wrong number. Which is the number they gave us.
No management could help us and as a small woman owned business we have been profiled and discriminated against because we’re not some big business.
We even had an escalation person who handles complaints reach out and she was totally useless telling us the same thing we have been told before. Wait 30 days if (key word if) the documents were submitted we will have a response. She couldn’t even confirm that the documents were received in the first place because nobody can talk to that department. What kind of company cant help their customers and blocks them from communicating with departments.
It’s caused us to lose out on over $10,000 with of revenue and the stress and chaos this has caused in our lives and business is really disappointing.

DONT BANK OR USE CC WITH CHASE.

They cancelled the WePay product without a replacement ready before the product is not longer going to work. Terrible.

Had my identity stolen, someone opened an account illegally in my name. They have no way of letting me contact their fraud department because I do not know the account number.

I am writing this review to warn people about opening retirement accounts at JP Morgan. My mother recently died and had under $100,000 in Ira accounts. It has been extremely time consuming and impossible to open beneficiary Ira accounts and get her money out of JP Morgan, I finally got them to admit that it is because of the amount of money being under $100,000.

I am fortunate enough that I have money and I’m able to go in to open up $100,000 account so that I can get help to receive money that I inherited from my deceased mother

I think it is so disgusting that the bank has unwillingness to deal with smaller depositors and their heirs. It seems criminal. People who don’t have the means to spend hours on the telephone and even take trips to chase bank to discuss the closure and rolling over of a deceased Ira account. What do they do?

I have spoken with other financial institutions and they cannot believe the unwillingness of JP Morgan to deal with a smaller account holder and open a beneficiary Ira account for them.

JPMC closed my accounts without warning despite having a perfect payment history. The company provided an ambiguous reason for the closure and life-time ban, essentially citing suspicious activity, without permitting me to appeal. Chase locked me out of my account, & after being on hold with the bank's fraud department, my call was automatically disconnected after ~3 hours, so I was unable to recover my financial records online. Historically, the 3rd Reich used the predecessor of JPMC. Not to mention Chase's extensive history of fraud, and more recently the organization being ordered to pay 75 million towards the US Virgin Islands for aiding Epstein. Despite being one of the most profitable banking organizations in the world, JPMC prosecutes account holders for debt, rather than transferring affairs to a debt collection agency (according to reports). I'd recommend a boycott, rather than supporting this corrupt monster.

Like many others had reported in their reviews, my complaint was also about their safe deposit box service. I’ve been a Chase customer for 10 years and received free safe deposit box service for majority of those years. Earlier this year in July, there was a charge posted on my account for safe deposit box which I thought it’d be reimbursed later by Chase but soon found out from customer service that Chase no longer waives the fee. When I called Chase customer service center, they advised me to cancel the box in person and ask for a refund at the branch, which I did on the same day. However, at the branch, after I canceled the box that I was charged a year in advance, the teller and branch manager refused to issue a refund. Then I called customer service again which they attempted twice to issue the refund but was not successful due to “declined by system” error. They had no choice but to send me back to the branch. I escalated the complaint to the highest official at the branch, still no refund, nor partial credit - I was advised by your customer service dept to cancel the box which I had already been charged service fee for an entire year! Had I known the branch would flip the script and refuse to credit me back, I wouldn’t had canceled the box which I had 11 months and 2 weeks left of service I paid for!

For a banking system that has stood the test of time and been leading the industry, Chase branch safe deposit service has brought shame to the name and the banking franchise. Losing valued customers over small change like this, Chase pulled off some “smart” moves! Completely disgusted by how they handled the situation.

Chase has got to be the worse. I opened a business account; decided to utilize one of the services.. they held the money for 7 days then proceeded to say it may take an additional 3-5 days! How can any small business operate like this. No one had any answers and I just proceeded to
Get the run around. I have now closed this account I’m convinced Chase doesn’t want to see minorities succeed and they can go kick rocks for all I care. **** YOU Chase bank

Dealing with chase estate department related to passing of my father. I have had nothing but hassle and runaround. They have lost sensitive documents twice and no one can ever give me a direct answer. Worse company I have ever dealt with I will never open anything with them ever.
