Absolutely horrible bank. I switched banks because it was convenient and my god what a mistake. They held my paycheck hostage for 14 days and it came from a gov ******* Terrible customer service who lied through their teeth about the issue. I would be embarrassed if my business treated my customers like I was. I would give zero stars if you could. Chase should close up shop.

Horrible experience after all these years with Chase. My car was broken into and my wallet was stolen, with all my cards, checks, etc. I called Chase the following day and told them about it. They were supposed to have my account flagged and they told me that I should not worry since my checks would be stopped and they canceled and reissued all of my cards. A couple weeks later, the criminal was able to go into a branch and withdrawal ALL my money in my checking account- that was not actually flagged after all! They took out over $4,500. They didn't even get my name right on the withdrawal slip. Now they are telling me that I just have to wait until my claim gets approved. Today was supposed to be the deadline, but I was just now informed over the phone that they need my police report first, then I get to start the wait process over again. I'm so finished with Chase!

I am absolutely disgusted with the way Chase handles (or rather doesnt handle at all) issues related with accounts. I have an *********** credit card. I purchased a large sum a few months ago under 18 months equal payment. I had to return an item, and even though it was returned I am still being obligated to pay interest as if I still had the item which is causing me to lose months on my plan. If thats not enough, I purchased a separate item in the last 30 days and then paid it off before the closing date. Now my interest saving balance is over 640 dollars for next month. Meaning I am being forced to lose even more months off of my 18 month financial plan! My original 18 month plan has now been forced down to 9 months. Its absurd and Chases only response is its your fault. Word of advice to everyone considering doing the financial plan with ******: DONT. Better yet, dont get this stupid card. Chase is completely unreliable and misleading. Multiple supervisors have given a different story each time. I will be getting rid of this card as soon as I can.

We filed a loan modification over 5 years ago with Chase. Not only were the loan modification terms absurd (by the time we knew them we had no option) but they have continued to report to the credit bureaus EVERY month that we have "recently changed the terms of our loan" thus killing our credit having a domino effect on all other accounts. We have contacted Chase, BBB, FICO companies, every credit bureau and the state department to no avail. We are only asking that it be correctly reported as modified on the date it was modified not as if we did a new modification EVERY month. Even at the executive level, they have said they cannot change it. A mulitmillion dollar bank should be able to report their loans correctly.

Chase stole my late stepmother's account. I was on that account, and when she passed, I requested a statement but they refused on the grounds that "she may owe something to the government. Call ** in six months". Six months later, they told me that the account was closed and that there were no funds - LIE! - and refused to provide a statement without a court order. Again, I WAS ON THAT ACCOUNT.

My parents had their account hacked by someone who worked with Chase. Someone who worked with chase took one of my parents debit card and took all the money out one day after they dispute charges and report the card stolen. When my parents called, the people at customer service kept giving them the run around, gaslighting them, and tried to not give my parents their money back. It wasnt until they talked to someone higher up that the issue was resolved. Im devastated Chase would treat such long time clients like this. Please be careful and be aware. I know scammers are everywhere but whoever did this called from a chase number. Chase, you need better security or close down all operations. How are you the largest bank in ******* and people within your company easily rip off customers like this. An employee taking money of out someones account and then gaslighting them and treating them as if theyre the ones who did it is wild. Please burn in h***

By advice from a claimed department rep we filed a claim to try and get our funds back from a purchase we made where the merchant seemed to be scamming us. We wanted refund / return however got absolutely no response from merchant so we called chase and the claims rep said yes this is why we have claims department - we will get your money back. After countless calls the first rep filed the claim wrong. Then they just added to notes making the claims dep deny the claim. We called back and re opened the claim after advice from sups in that department. Lets be clear no one in claims told ** to send any kind of email or phone proof supporting our claim until almost 2 month in on the re opened claim. After sending in the proof we are having radio silence with the merchant chase still denied our claim. I dont work for chase so when Im told one thing then another it absolutely horrible and poor customer service and poor management to uphold policys. Beware chase! Definitely recommend banking else where where they care about their customers money.

Someone pretending to be me deposited a check (stolen from another chase account holder) into my account and took out the cash I had available and deposited the rest of the check. Chase took the total amount of the check and deposited back into the check owners account. So not only was all of my money (in this account) taken out of this account it also put me negative a couple of grand and all Chase can say is "please allow up to 5 business days for the investigation".I filled out a Forgery packet for chase on Friday and when I called this morning they told me to call back in 5 days. This is not acceptable! I have had numerous accounts at chase for the past 10 years. Look at my history, no over drafts, no negative balances, etc... Of course I am made to feal like the criminal "who has access to your banking info, your social and your ID?" My wife is the only one that I know of but apparently someone else has it. They then ask "are you sure you didn't deposit this check?" Look at the signature on the check and compare it to the forgery packet signature, you don't have to be a professional to tell they are different.
