      Liars, fraudsters and perpetrators of bait and switch. I applied for a freedom unlimited credit card that offered 5% cash back on groceries, 3% back on all other purchases and a cash bonus. I have excellent credit and was instantly approved. The card they sent had different benefits. The first time I called they said the offer I accepted never existed. Then they said I applied for a different offer. With Chase what you choose isn't what you get. Stay away from Chase bank!

      If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've had a credit card with chase for years. They often send offers to open a second card. I finally did and they issued the card in a name I haven't had for 6 years. I contacted customer service who directed me to their "secured messages" forum. That service has informed me I have to again prove my name change and is MAILING me the form required. Needless to say I won't be actually using said card...

      This bank will allow you to close your account online but does no verification to make sure it was you. I inquired on how I can close my account and was given instructions on how to do it. I did part one but part 2 was to call the bank. I didnt call them at all. Today I went to pay with my card and they have already put it in a pending status. With no approval nothing. They should have called the number on file to atleast get a voice confirmation because the account could have easily been hacked. When calling to resolve it the lady would only say go to the local branch

      Fraudulent bank! Had an auto loan through them and once I bought a new car and the auto loan was paid off they continued to charge me the old car payment. Went in the app to try and stop the auto payments and wasnt able to access anything to do with the account. Tried calling customer service several times before being answered and they said the money would automatically be returned even though the app showed they would continue the automatic payments on a ZERO balance. Then the customer service **** ******* hung up on me before I could confirm these things.HORRIBLE BANK. Steer clear. They will steal from you.

      To start, on 1/31/23, my wife and I had a terrible experience with using the Chase ********************** via phone. The reasons for our unhappiness with the Chase ********************** is as follows; 1. Chase representatives handling our travel booking were incompetent and extremely slow taking 2hrs and 22 minutes to book a round trip flight for 3 adults, 1 seated child, and 1 lap child. 2. Mistakes were made on multiple occasions by the Chase representatives entering our information, 3. We were switched to three different Chase representatives before the booking was completed, which required us to give the same information numerous times to the representatives, with **** minute hold times in every step of the process, 4. The first booking price agreed by us was $1,946.20, and in the negligence of the Chase representatives, the price increased by $248 to a different price of $2,194.20 before they were able to complete the transaction, 5. We filled a complaint with Chase travel, while we were still on the phone trying to complete the transaction, told that under the ticket number ******* an investigation would be done and in two business days be contacted with Chases findings. Three weeks later, I called Chase, to be told, that the ticket was closed and that they were sorry for the inconvenience and that nothing could be done to resolve our issue/complaint with Chase Travel.I have given to days for something to show up in my wifes or my Chase App or online account and nothing has been posted. This is unacceptable and extremely poor customer service. Now after 3 weeks we have no answers and no resolution to our concern.

      Now that I read some of the reviews, I understand that this is a trend with this bank. I filed a claim on some fraudulent charges, the money was put back in to my account and then taken back out stating my claim was denied. I received two letters from the bank. One stated the claim was denied because I approved those charges and the other letter letter stated referred the denial to a 60 day period. My emails to the highest level I could find have gone unanswered. If you value your money, DO NOT bank with ***************** Chase!

      I was scammed for ******* they told me last month it was being resolved. When i got my new bill it wasn't resolved. They tell me know it's too late and I can't fight the dispute. CHASE BANK IS A THIEF! THEY DONT CARE THAT PEOPLE ARE GETTING SCAMMED BECAUSE THEY SCAM PEOPLE TOO!!

      Flagrantly lie and commit acts of fraud. I paid my interest free balance and was charged interest regardless. I paid $2000 beyond my interest free balance. They Mis applied the funds and refused to correct the error. The manager I spoke with confirmed the notes on my account from the previous Chase customer service advisor were inaccurate too. Completely untrustworthy thieves !

      The representative i spoke with lied. She told me that it was not possible to link to third party apps. When I realized that I already had an account linked to a third party app, I brought it to her attention and then she told me that it "was not recommended" which is not the same as "not possible".

      On 1/14/2023 - I openend a checking and savings account with Chase bank in ********** ** . On 1/20/2023 I went back to the same branch and deposited a check for $15,000 in the savings $100 (cash) in the direct deposit checking . The check was a cashiers check from ******** bank I showed my license and other proof that it was me depositing . The money was automatically w/drawn from ******** and cashed by Chase and depositied into my account. I could see that the deposit online on 1/30/23. On 2/2/2023 it was w/drawn and my account closed. There was no longer any history online for me to see I called numerous times and was given wrong information each time. One was that the check was being sent / mailed to me. I never recieved a call, email, or letter. I finally spoke with a Supervisor in Operations Loss who was able to find my money in a holding account. It was confirmed that Chase dropped the ball. The Supervisor asked that my $15,100 be mailed to me (didn't happen) . They opened my account back up and I had to go in again to close it. It was the most horrible experience. I never received my paycheck on 2/3/2023 due to the account being closed. That took another 5 days. I have lost hours from work and aggravation. I have been a credit card holder for years and I am very dissapointed in the level of service. I opened a complaint through Corporate against the lack of communication with the branch and back office and also incompetence. The woman who reviewed my case immediately closed my case and noted information as to why they closed. She totally overlooked my complaint and request. The agent was also very rude and would not allow me to speak to a manager. Chase needs training and customer service coaching.
