************ is a fraud. They allowed fraudulent charges to stand on the account, even after providing proof. During conversations on the telephone, they would lie to me constantly, and showed that they never even looked into the dispute. I would recommend everyone to avoid this company. They are scam artists, and they will rip you off. I had this account for years. I have closed my account, but am sitting at near ****** USD of charges for goods I have not received. ******* I spoke to, instead, told me that they "do not care" and that "all you can do is close the account." ************ should be closed and sued for their behavior.

WOW, All of these 1 star ratings are cause to AVOID banking with Chase Bank! I had been with chase for over 30 years and have 1 mortgage with them. I only owe $108K on mortgage left. The home is worth $1.5 Mil. We were hit with hurricane *** on Sept 28 2022. We received a Check from our insurance for $115K (Damages are $140K) So after receiving the check from insurance Chase Bank was on the check! Another RED FLAG! I had to put out $49K for our roof and Lanai. Chase made ** deposit check in their bank and is currently holding our $115K! received a check for $40K which is still $9K short of what I already put out! Now our roof is $115K to replace!!! So the check amount doesn't even cover the roof!!!! The roofing company has $41K and now they need another $50K to start the roof! Chase now only releases me another $25K !!!! They want me to put out another $25k of my money to start the roof?? What a joke of a bank!!!!! I have never been treated with such disrespect from the insurance customer service!!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT GETTING A MORTGAGE WITH CHASE BANK !!!!!Do yourself a favor and get a mortgage from a reputable bank that doesn't hold YOUR INSURANCE FUNDS!!!!! NOW I KNOW WHY THEY ARE NOT BBB ACCREDITED!!!!

Working with Chase has been a nightmare. Throughout the process my husband and I have been treated as if our questions were an inconvenience and unnecessary. As a first time home buyer, I will of course have questions and want to make sure were on top of everything that is needed to move forward with our home loan. Even after the clear to close, they sent out an email the very next day sayings a glitch in there system required redisclosures that required a delay in our closing. The sellers of the property graciously agreed to the change, only for Chase to come back on the closing date requesting a CTC letter from the buyers of our current home. They claimed that item was in the disclosures they gave us, however Chase at no point emailed or verbally asked for that document when requesting the other documents needed. Theyve been throwing the blame around to the underwriters, client care specialist, loan officer and even us. At this point we have no idea exactly where the ball was dropped and the loan officer claims her manager is on vacation and that no one else can have the issue escalated on such a time sensitive issue. I cannot believe I was in tears during our closing meeting, where I imagined to be happy and excited to start the new chapter of our growing family in. I absolutely do not recommend Chase and would caution anyone from using them.

Only 1 star because I could not give less. I had a credit card with them for several years. I closed it and was paying off the balance. Called last month to get exact balance due to pay off and was given an amount which the rep assured me was the total pay off amount. As soon as I hung up the phone I immediately paid the amount he told me online. Within a couple of days my account showed a zero balance and my credit scores showed the balance was paid off. Today I get an invoice from Chase for $37.17. I called them and was told that this was interest. When I asked why this was not included in the payoff amount I was given they informed me they did not know about it at that time? Then when I asked why the rep that I spoke with did not tell me there could be add'l fees they didn't know that either but basically was told by 2 reps too bad. Just pay this. No offer to delete, reduce, nothing. Just pay it.

Beware senior and veterans and disabled customers that currently receive their SSI benefits or military pensions through direct deposit with chase bank. Their policies allow them to put holds on benefits earned through soc. sec. administration or military service without holds placed from soc. sec. themself, death certificate, or court order.. Filed a formal complaint with chase exec. **** within chase bank org. and received an apology for negligent error on their part but their policy allows them to ***** policies and rules governing soc. sec.and treasury ****. and court sysym..Of coarse their negligence upon holds on my retirement benefits to my checking acct. caused possible late fees with landlord and utility companies for late payment besides voiding card associated with my acct. for 19 days which prevented atm use and purchases from merchants of food, gas and other everyday expences incurred in everday life. My responce to them was after 8 yrs of association with them i could no longer trust them with my finances and would be closing my acct. with them once i've setup direct depisit with soc. sec.benefits with one of my other banks i have accts. with. Disapointed senior veteran from ******

This bank is horrible. I recently open a checking account with them and deposit a check from my 401k. They put my check on hold for 10 days and now they are closing my account without allowing me to access my funds. I am now 17 days late on my rent and being evicted because they can't get ahold of empower through 2 numbers that they have on file and refuse to use any other number I provide to them. I will never bank with chase bank again.

***************** Chase had a lease agreement with a vehicle for 36 months. After 36 months I had it extended another 6, and a COVID-19 policy allowed Chase to let users submit payments online in a delayed manner. Chase did not properly notify me of any account issues, and when I called Chase I was advised I can continue to make payments online. Chase claims they called me yet I never talked to a single person from Chase. 1 letter was allegedly issued, then the next was the account being closed. After several months when I was going to turn the car back in I received a repossession letter. I successfully turned in the car and leased a new model. My credit score went from 816 to 573. Does that sound right for having a perfect credit report? Disputing this seems to have only made my score even lower. This makes no sense, 1 star issued due to discarding me as a customer and not even allowing my account to submit anything. Rot.

Their reps in the check hold department are disclosing other clients account information. They told me my check from *** **** is on hold due to the *** **** account being 4 million in the red. The reps, ****** and ********* have both told me this 2 separate days apart. This is unacceptable. I have a personal and a business account and I’m afraid they will disclose my info to anyone as well.
Insurance accounts are positive pay and only get paid off in batches. The bank agrees to cover and the insurance company pays it as they go.
