      8/22/2022 Chase Bank is not very consumer friendly.I opened a checking account online a few weeks ago. They were offering a $ 100 if you opened a new account with them, but you were supposed to make a certain number of transactions in a required time frame. I waited for ten days to get my debit card in the mail. I deposited two checks at an **** one for $500, and one for $300 with no problems. I tried to deposit two more checks a few days later at the **** but it would not take the checks. I tried to make a purchase with my ATM card two different times, and both were declined.I called customer service at ******************** Bank, and was told a hold was placed on my checking account.A two week hold was put on the $500 dollar check to verify the funds were good.I have not been able to pay my bills or buy gas, because of this.It seems to me it would make better sense to hold the check , and not the check and bank account.I will be withdrawing my $800 as soon as possible and closing the account.I will not do business with Chase Bank again.

      I initially had Chase around 2010ish. However, I had to cancel due to fraud. I decided to give them another chance due to my mom having awesome services with them. Under 6 months I started to develop issues. I started had random subscriptions pop under my card ( I had to call numerous times before that issue was handled), got scammed $450 , and I was also scammed $600. The Subscription issue was finally fixed and blocked after numerous calls and I was provided my $450. However, I was not provided the $600 because they have stated that it was my responsibility; even though I had all the proof that I was indeed scammed. If I would have known it was this bad just to have a so called legit bank, I would have stuck with *****. This is by far the worst ************ that I have ever done business with. Your money can simply be sitting in your bank with no human access and still manage to have funds mysteriously vanish away.

      Worst of the worst in every aspect I've experienced. Other banks would waive $10 service fee the first time your deposit drops below the threshold. They didn't. I've applied for multiple credit cards from different issuers with an excellent FICO/TU score around 760, they were the only one declined my request. The second time I got approved, but got the lowest credit limit. ******** service agent was incredibly rude. I was trying to deposit a check around $1200 and the teller asked me where I got it and some other questions. I answered and asked why she asked. She explicitly meant I might get caught like a criminal. I was so offended and this never happened to me when dealing with any customer service from any organization anywhere anytime!

      Worse bank ever. Chase bank closed my account. I was being charged for a few months by which I thought I knew who the merchant was. However I called chased to report the issue. They unfortunately closed my account and denied me any further service. I was charged over 300 yes I know its not much but still im a young man that pays big bills. So now im shorted over 300 dollars and a debt account. SMH.

      CHASE COMMITS FRAUD!!! I did a balance transfer from one card to my Chase card based on terms and conditions of the balance transfer which turned out to be a lie. I requested it be cancelled and put back on the original card after already paying some of it down on my Chase card. Chase then put TWO charges of the ORIGINAL balance transfer amount to the original card WHILE ALSO NOT REMOVING THE CHARGE FEOM MY CHASE CARD. Basically, Chase is expecting me to pay this original balance 3 times over. I was unable to dispute the charges with the original card because they arent considered charges but adjustments. I have two BBB complaints in the works because of this fraud and will most likely have to soon hire a lawyer.

      Was going through them for a mortgage gave them all the information needed about my situation they say u are conditully approved all we need now is $500 and $1000 then I have a home inspection which cost me money come to fine out one of the conditions I needed to meet I couldn't and they knew it because it was on the first application they told me it was fine then after they got my money nope can't approve u I've lost $2500 because of them I'll be banking somewhere else SCAM ARTIST

      After my husband spent 30 minutes in line he was told he had to make an appointment to open a checking account which would be 12 days out. what a crock- then they told him to do it online - Has anyone that has seen an older man with a cell phone and vision in one eye try to open an account online!!

      I recently opened a business account with Chase Bank and noticed things started taking a turn for the worst when depositing checked. The first two times I noticed that I received a weird delay and the money was said to be held for seven business days. I then call and spoke with a representative who put me on a brief hold and was able to have the funds released. But this third time I deposited a check for $5,000 and to my business account on Friday and I was told that it would take two weeks until I was able to use the funds. I then spoke to a number of Representatives who stated that they were unable to reach *** Bank with a check was received from. I was told to reach out to *** Bank and get the phone number so I chase representative could verify the check. Now two issues with this process, one Chase try to verify the check on the weekend which all banks and the ******* reserve are closed. Two, when I spoke to the first three Representatives none of them said the same thing one even told me that the funds will be available August 16th but I can call August 15th and have the money released. I then spoke to *** and the representative verified that the funds were released to Chase Bank on August 12th at 10:00 p.m. I was also giving the number by the *** representative for bank to bank verification of checks, and which the chase Representatives refused to call the number because they said it was not a personal bank teller slash branch manager line. The chase Representatives also told me that *** does not allow their employees to discuss bank account information with third parties so they knew that no bank employee would discuss my client' bank account information with a Chase Rep. **** the customer service representatives were very rude. There's no way you can rent a business but you're unable to use your business account twice a month that's what drastically cut down the amount of jobs you can do and also cut down the revenue brought into your banking account.

      This bank takes WEEEEEKS to post deposits even if the other party is a Chase member. I have had wire transfer's that with all the other banks I have used post instantly. Yes with a fee but it is still instant, here they take a fee and make you wait DAYS ON A WIRE!! They don't post cashier's checks which are considered cash for WEEEKS. I mean this is ridiculous. You cant get your money when you need it because they have delays that are literally WEEKS AND WEEKS over everyone else. I would just use * ** *. Much faster

      did not provide minimal security to my checking account and allowed large sum of money to be stolen. they took no action to help recover funds.
