      I got locked out of my account. I had so much trouble depositing checks that were written for my business. I had to constantly refill out all my information as to why I was receiving the check and for what. This should be common sense for a business account. However on my final email with them I mentioned in one sentence to close my accountand they did! Alas, it was easier to close my account than to deposit a check. I would not recommend them or their services.

      My account was suspended after receiving an ach transfer, If you are reading this and you are thinking whether to deposit. THE ANSWER IS DONT!. there customer service is copy and paste and all they will tell you is "All financial service companies are required to evaluate their products, services and customers periodically. Based on our review, we may choose to discontinue certain products, services and, in some cases, customer relationships. As stated in the Deposit Account Agreement, the decision to exit your relationship is based on the overall evaluation of your Account."DONT DEPOSIT

      If I had a chance to give them 0 stars I would! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK AT ALL COSTS!!! I worked very hard for monthsssssss with ******** to start receiving payments and the second my first payment came in they automatically suspended my account and I gave them all documentation they asked for to remove the suspension off and after sending everything they respond to me saying sorry we are closing your account I reply back to them writing a nice paragraph they stopped responding to my emails, but when I was emailing them prior they were quickly responding after my paragraph they completely stopped responding to me I work with patients I work with the government ******** and HMO insurances I work with terminally ill patients and I work with vendors, ******************** that are expecting payment for their services theyve provided for my patients and now I have to reach back to ******** and start the process again thank you northone for all my cost loss and they will definitely hear from my attorney

      On Friday March 17th 2023 I was notified without any prior warning or notice that my business bank account had been suspended. My funds were frozen and I was locked out my account. I received an email from Northone stating "We have decided to suspend your account until an account review is completed." I was told I needed to submit a questionnaire, invoices explaining my business, and information on my other bank accounts in order to continue to use their services. The bank had been fully aware of my line of business for more than a year after signing up and I operated my account the same way until this day. According to them this is something "all financial services companies do". No other bank has ever attempted this that I have dealt with. It was not until I threatened them with legal action that they immediately unlocked my account.Numerous payments that I had tied to my account were missed causing me to work over the weekend to rectify the situation and use my other bank accounts that I thankfully had for my business. Judging by complaints here on BBB this has happened recently to many of their customers. I have no desire to do business with this bank especially with their services being offered through the ******************************** which is being sued by investors for similar liquidity issues that recently brought down ********************

      Horrible. I signed up for an account due to a promotion they were running and then when I inquired about the promotion, they denied me. Then they tried to charge me for closing my account the same day. I didnt even get to use the account. It was open for less than an hour. This is the worst experience Ive ever had with a bank. They arent even a bank, just a technology service connecting you to a real bank.

      Warning to all small businesses. These types of private banks are popping up everywhere, Do not use then. I am not sure of the business model, It can't be for the $10 per month fee, But I have learnt not to use these banks for the first 6 months, to allow then to close the account without warning suddenly. And right on schedule, North one did it as well. No warning, no explanation, just closed it but not before they took another $10 monthly fee ( literally days before)Awful company, Unfriendly support.

      I was quite annoyed because I cannot access my business banking account, and there wasn't an email or text explanation for any of this. Countless emails and calls to NorthOne later, I am still waiting to hear back or receive an acknowledgment that my emails were at least received. And this is a financial technology company.

      I receive wires in my account regularly and 3 times they questioned why I was receiving the wires, who sent them, and they wanted to see the contract or documentation as to why I was receiving them. The only way to communicate with the wires team is via Chat and they take hours to respond or ignore your questions completely. Then if they dont like the documentation you provide they decide to send the wire back to the sender. Massively disrupting business for the week and costing many hours both chatting with them and explaining to your customer or partners that we have to do a work around. The only way to "talk" to anyone is to schedule a call usually for the next day and by then the wired team has already decided if they think it's your money or not. Sometimes charges get denied on debit card even when there's plenty of funds in the account All you ever get from **************** is sorry we can't help you and sorry it's frustrating and we know it's frustrating I would stay away from this bank. I will be closing my account as soon as I have other arrangements made.

      NorthOne is not really a bank. It's backed by a bank, but you'll want to avoid this at all costs. The ProfitFirst features aren't worth not having a bunch of normal features and the security is terrible. They got hacked and my account was drained of funds and NorthOne would not give me money back, even after a "claim". I wish I had read reviews before using them.

      Rating zero stars! Worst bank ever!! They locked me out of my account with no explanation. I had no warning or reason as I had been actively adding and transferring money in and out for my business. I have not received my funds yet!!
