The Credit Plug on ******* recommends this bank. Beware of both **************************** Credit Plug on *******. All of them are scammers! Specifically ****** at NorthOne Bank. I had the account for well over a year but the minute I set up direct deposit, they locked my account causing me not to have access. The only transaction is taking $10 out every 5 days without my permission!North One

All financial service companies are required to evaluate their products, services and customers periodically. Based on our review, we may choose to discontinue certain products, services and, in some cases, customer relationships. As stated in the Deposit Account Agreement, the decision to exit your relationship is based on the overall evaluation of your Account.
On December 18th, 2023, NorthOne adjusted the billing for our Accounts to offer two new billing options, NorthOne Standard at $0/month and NorthOne Plus at $20/month. Before this adjustment, all Accounts were charged $10/month based on their Account opening date.

1 starIf only I have read this any sooner.Like many others on here I have been robbed by North one. They are leading me to financial destruction as we speak. I work so hard to get my business up and running, and after If you cash app and venmo deposits, they suspend my account without any reason.They do not have a customer service number and will not allow me to speak to anyone.The people on the online chat have admitted to not being able to help me and keep referring me to an email thread that I have with a customer service representative that takes at least a full day to respond.Not Only do I not have access to my money to pay my bills but the only way I have to communicate with them is via email.They wanted proof of my cash app and venmo earnings of which I sent a screenshot of.They also wanted invoice from my suppliers which I send screenshots of.Only after this, they tell me that my screenshots are not acceptable, and now they need pdfs.At this point I have lost so much money. that I just need to recoup my remaining money and close my account. If anyone reading this thread can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.Review fromTravandra B

I had my account for a few months before I started placing money in my account and when I did holy ******** the fan. I couldnt transfer money or receive money from my husband who had a different bank account with another branch they told me you can only transfer money from one of your own accounts to another one of your accounts, they all have to have your name on it, then they blocked my account saying I had violated their rules. They are strictly a business account and I cant have my paychecks sent to that account or have any personal banking transactions done through that bank. Im an independent contractor so what do you think is going into the account. **************** is horrible you cant talk to anyone on the phone its only through chat and you have to make an appointment for that OMG. I thought using an online bank. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST INSTITUTION EVER STAY FAR AWAYNorth One

1 starNorthOne bank are such scammers and liars. They gave me such a hard time to do simple stuff and disregarded helping me when asked for. I got charged monthly fees for a account I never even got around to using. Was not able to set up my account properly and had issues from the get go. When I asked that NorthOne stop charging me and close out my account I was ignored and continued getting charged. Just look at all the other reviewers. It shows that no one else is happy with there service.NorthOne practically stole from me and didn't even rectify their actions after speaking to a few different representatives and trying to reach out to a supervisor. Shame on them. I hope they go out of business and never do business anywhere ever again. They really are careless suckers of life. Acting like they were trying to fix my issue or resolve anything at all only to lie and cheat me out of my money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM WHATSOEVER.Review fromlizbet r

I have been experiencing a prolonged issue with accessing my account, and despite my persistent efforts over several months, I have not been able to regain access. The company has locked me out, and it's causing significant distress as I've had my bank account with them for quite some time.I have already tried contacting their customer support numerous times, but unfortunately, my situation remains unresolved. I've diligently followed their procedures, but the lack of assistance has left me feeling helpless.I kindly request the company's immediate attention to rectify this matter and provide a viable solution to regain access to my account. My financial well-being and peace of mind are at stake, and I sincerely hope they will address my concerns promptly and professionally.I am open to any suggestions or alternative avenues to resolve this matter before considering the involvement of external parties. 1 starThis is the absolute worst bank for any small business. First of all, if you want to make any changes to the name on the account you have to close your account and apply for a new one. How inconvenient is that? Yesterday I deposited a fairly large check (less than the $15,000 daily deposit limit), and they immediately locked me out if the account and suspended it. For what? They say they reserve the right to do that, for any reason. So I had to submit a bunch of paperwork to prove that Im a legal business. Meanwhile all my autopay bill payments are being declined, for no good reason. Finally my account is up and running again, and all they say is sorry for the inconvenience. Im sorry, but how is this helping small businesses? They did nothing but put me is a very tricky financial situation that could likely happen again at any moment, if you deposit a large check. **** in customer service said they have the right to close my account for any reason they choose, its up to their discretion, and then they hold your money for 30 days. Absolute terrible service! Their chat feature is horrible and setting appointments online will get you no response. I have an LLC here in *******. Attempted to utilize this service for my ach deposits from my clients. I received a message almost 2 weeks after receiving my first deposit in the account requesting documentation on the 20th of this month, I tried to reach out to the chat and also scheduled an appointment because I wanted to send the required documents. Well, by this time, another deposit is due to come in tomorrow. They suspended my account, while in chat, sent a email notification that they would be contacting me @ 12:25 pm (CDT) today, 6/22/2023...and here its 6:54pm CST and still no response. Not even an email. Thankfully we have a service that backs ** for situations like this! I WILL SHOUT TO THE ********* THIS SO CALLED BUSINESS BANK ACCOUNT IS WORTHLESS!!!!
