      My American Express card was maxed out. After paying the card down to a zero balance how did they repay me? They cut my credit limit in half. If anything paying the card off shows credit worthiness. They like to up the interest and cut credit limit. Customer ******************** said his supervisor would call me within 38 hours. **************** wanted to see my bank states over the past three months.

      After explaining my situation to a supposed human in the American Express chat for more than an hour, I had no satisfaction. I requested an escalation to management. Instead the chat was ended. I stayed on to request again. I refused to go thru the same conversation yet again. Bottom line: I contacted the vendor 1st to dispute charges. Their machine cancelled my account. Now because of that, I cannot dispute previous charges. Now I have late charges on services I did not want or agree to.

      Horrible. Tried to pay after I hired debt relief company. I had multiple deaths and very expensive vehicles repairs.they closed account when past due was less than 30 days. Sent to judgement attorney at 60 days tried to pay in full at 120 days late both **** and their collector refused payment stating they will get more in a judgement. Ran up fees. Charge off only when judgement was filed. They are terrible run away.

      On November 7, 2024, My American Express customer service representative went above and beyond to help me resolve an issue I had with ***** and Justanswer despite me misdirecting my emotional fit towards her. If by chance you read this review, I just want to thank you for remaining professional and being patient with me. I sincerely apologize for misdirection my emotions towards you. Below is a summary of what transpired with ***** and Justanswer.I had just purchased a new Macbook on November 7, 2024 and during the setup process, I encountered an issue during the setup process. After several attempts to complete my account setup a pop up box appeared instructing me to contact Apple tech support via the iTunes app. I went to the iTunes site thinking I was dealing with Apple tech support under the guise of Justanswer. As I continued with the process with Justanswer, I was informed that I needed to enter my credit card information and that I would be charged a dollar which is fully refundable. A tech from Justanswer began a chat session walking me through the steps to resolve my issue, which was successful. Curious, I went to my credit card app and noticed the dollar charge with an additional 55 dollal recurring monthly charge. Apparently I was subscribed to Justanswer without my knowledge and through false pretenses. I contacted my CC company's customer service and they refused my request to dispute the charges because I willing entered my CC info. Justanswer is not ethical in its business practice and for ***** to continue to forward new and current customers to this ********************** should also be held accountable.

      I have been an **** member for over a year, and I have the same payment behavior every month. On my last statement, I paid the statement balance off in its entirety before the draft date. However, even with AMEX showing a 0.00 statement balance, they charged me the old balance (close to 5k), essentially double-charging me and drafting my account without permission or a reason to do so in the first place.They are essentially making my account unusable because of a mistake they supposedly cannot correct. A Manager promised to call me by the end of yesterday but failed to do so. If this is the type of nonsense I can expect from them, I will begin the process of replacing this financial institution.

      Large ********************** that can not add nor read.They should really learn that $20, doesnt equal $160. A third grader could tell them this.They can allow me to talk to a supervisor because, they are unable to handle it and will have to give a call ******* well as transfer to dispute department and they can not answer either.

      I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from *********************************************. A fraudulent charge was made on my card through a scam, yet when I contacted them to report it, I was told they wouldnt remove the charge because the company had my credit card information. This is an outrageous stance on fraud protection, especially from a company that markets itself as customer-focused. I expected more vigilance and support in addressing unauthorized transactions. This experience has left me questioning my trust in American Express for future transactions, therefore I cancelled my card after many years of being with them.

      I got promotional axp platinum card offer for free rewards points . The condition was to spend certain amount of money in 90 days . I bought axp gift cards to fulfill the offer. *** stating that transaction does not count as valid spending for rewards. I used to have platinum card awhile back , that was not the case.I use ******* one card and use them to buy gift card during holidays for my business, I called ******* one just now and asked if I buy axp gift cards do I get rewards and the answer is yes .I lost my rewards point by using their platinum card.I just got the cards and have not opened envelope. I wish AXP cancel that transaction and let me use ******* one which I always use , so I can get rewards
