      When I applied for the American express I was told that I wasn't going to pay interest for an year. Now that I got my account statement I was charged interest fee. I called and a lady from the company told me that I wouldn't pay interest rate only if I spend more than 1k one thing like furniture. To me it didn't make sense. I will pay my bill and cut this card.

      Fake AE gift cards sold to me in closed packaging at ******. ****** says ** is at fault since one of their employees is clearly causing a high number of fraudulent cards to be packaged. Their customer service is investigating. No response. Ill do a lawsuit if needed.

      ************** Amex Gold engages in false advertising. I was misled by unfulfilled promises and wasted both time and money. When I applied through Deltas site, I immediately received an email to confirm additional information. I initially wanted to cancel to avoid any impact on my credit score, but an Amex representative convinced me to proceed, promising an immediate virtual card and a $500 bonus applied to my Delta ticket purchase right away. Based on this, I completed the application.Afterwards, I was informed the virtual card wasnt approved, but the physical card would arrive in 3-5 business days. That time passed, and every day I was told the card would arrive the next day. Meanwhile, my ticket price increased, and after 14 days, I lost patience. Finally, 15 days later, I received the card, bought my ticket, and found that the $500 bonus was not applied as promised. When I called Amex, they informed me it would actually take 8-14 weeks for the bonus to process, directly contradicting the first-purchase bonus they advertised.This experience has been a complete waste of money, time, and energy. I should have applied for a *********** card, which would have saved me from this stress and lack of respect, while allowing me to earn points and cash back. Amex no longer lives up to the high standards it once had, and this has been my worst experience with a credit card companyeven as a past **** customer. I absolutely do not recommend **** to anyone

      At one time they were great! **************** has become horrible as of recent times. Looking to start using other cards that are just as good or better. After over 30 years the customer care especially when you get a fraudulent charge is very lacking.

      American Express made an $180.00 unauthorized withdrawal from my checking acct in November 2023. It took me 4 months and countless hours on the phone until March 2024 for American express to acknowledge the unauthorized withdrawal. Now it is almost November 2024 and I still don't have my $180.00 back yet. Absolute stupidity or theft - who knows

      My husband and I own a business. Every month we pay it off in full and we have excellent credit. I recently had a payment due on a Sunday and due to a vacation and getting a new computer which had to have everything switched over, I was 1 day late. I made the payment on Monday then called to see if I could have the late fee dismissed. They said no. I wanted to be transferred to a manager and the manager said no too. You've got to be kidding me. Good credit... paid off every month and they won't forgive 1 day late.

      Poor communication, not willing to do what's right. I had a new bank linked to my account. I attempted to pay the card 3 times. Every time I tried it was reversed, and I was charged. I chatted with multiple reps and received different stories every time. Finally, i had a payment process and they would not remove the fees. I DO NOTHING TO JUSTIFY FEES. I cancelled my card and haven't looked back. I cut up all AMEX cards and will NEVER work with them again. THEY ARE A JOKE AND A DRAIN ON MY BUSINESS. I wish I could leave a zero star review.

      I’m receiving fraudulent bills I trying to call and speak to them and nobody’s being any help. They’re just twisting words around. I’m getting nowhere big corporate companies taking advantage of people. It’s disgusting. I don’t know what to do at this point I’m not paying a Fraudulent made up bill. I don’t know who to speak to. I need someone that could help me.
      I strongly suggest anyone to never deal with American Express. Do not get a card with them. They are disgusting

      I signed up for a Delta American Express Card and paid the high annual card fee with anticipation that I would have good customer service and experience with this credit card. I was one day late in making a monthly payment (I pay my balance in full each month) and they charged me $29 late fee and interest. I called to inquire on the interest charge and was told they had no authority to address and would escalate and to expect to hear feedback within 10 business days. I heard nothing and made my next months statement balance in full and was then charged more interest fees. I called and was told they keep charging interest fees for two billing cycles despite paying my balance in full. I was also told that they could not reconcile the interest charges yet wanted to give me delta miles if I spent $3,000 as a way to keep me as a customer. They then told me they would take away the benefits that I had received and earned if I cancelled the card. I paid $500 in erroneous interest fees for being one day late in making my payment and despite being a long standing card member they only wanted to reconcile by giving me delta miles provided I keep charging on the card. Do not recommend this card and hope someone will look into their business practices.
