      I applied for a Delta rewards over the phone in hopes of having the offer advertised. After spending the minimum to obtain my miles, I called to inquire why the miles hadn't been added to my account and was told it would take another 15 days. I followed up a month later only to be told I wasn't eligible for the intro offer as an existing Amex cardholder. This information was not disclosed during the initial application process nor when I followed up after hitting the minimum. This is the most predatory tactic I've ever encountered particularly since I asked about the offer upon application and nothing was disclosed by the customer service agent.

      I was looking for a credit card that would earn miles for flying. After a lot of research I looked at the Delta Express Card and applied and feel they bait and switched me. The promo that was advertised said I would receive a $400.00 on my estatement if approved so I was very excited. I wanted to travel to my daughters baby shower which is 1800 miles. I was approved and accepted the credit card. After I booked my trip I was told by an American Express representative that there is a promotion with a $400.00 credit as a promo but sometimes people dont receive it. She wasnt sure if you had to have a certain credit score but was aware of the promo. I feel like this promo is a bait and switch. I want my $400.00 credit!

      American express has scammed me out of 3000 Dollars!! My bill was over 6000 for a trip to ******, 1st month i sent them 3000 dollars, i am a 70 year old widow on a set income, they informed me they didnt recieve the payment. I started a dispute sent them proof of payment from my bank bill pay account, my account number, they closed the case. Reopened it had my bank call them and they admitted they got the money from my bank never got credited to my account. They closed it again said i never paid. Will try uploading all my documents again including rounting number etc... Last try I give up, They won, will close my account when I completely pay it off. Shame on you american express, have tried countless times to call, indian call center they know nothing, did chat line they thank me every time for being a good customer but can not help.I give up

      I think its absolutely ridiculous, that this company sends me "Pre Approved" Cards and Letters in the Mail, as well as execessively send me mail inviting me to apply, and then deny me and negatively impact my credit score as a result. I am a business owner with over $250k Revenue and I think it is just cruel to send someone an invitation with what appears to be, no intention of approving the person/business. As I grow in Business, and in life and progress, I will always remember their successful efforts in baiting me to ultimately hurt me.

      If I could give zero stars I would. Not only has AMEX had false charges that were never dealt with but my replacement card is lost in the mail and they won't do anything about it so now I'm without a card and they don't care. The customer service is so ignorant that is painful to interact with them, absolute insanity. Where is my card and why does no one at AMEX care if their customer's card is lost by ***** or will do anything about it? The most horrible service I've ever experienced, absolutely terrible.

      American Express is DISCRIMINATORY. I'm a female, Hispanic business owner. American Express approved me for a Business Platinum Credit Card for my business. After I started making charges on it, they SUSPENDED all of my Amex cards out of no where. DURING THE 4th of July holiday weekend. I pay all of my CC bills in full and on time, never once in my life carried a balance. I have excellent credit. They did this because they're discriminatory and were worried I wouldn't pay my bill, even though my account history reflects perfect credit. They did this because they WANT people to default on their credit cards and carry high interest. In order to unsuspend my accounts, they demanded pay stubs, tax returns, business documents, etc. Like What the ***** Amex is NOT the **** What a waste of my time. They are unprofessional, incompetent, and inefficient. Save your time, save your money, save yourself some stress and bank with a different institution like Chase.

      The absolute worst service ever. Account was hacked and money was moved person to person multiple times while hacked. **************** was no help and I was lied to multiple times being told a new card was sent, a check was sent and then I was asked to send a letter to verify that it is me, to only be told they need more time to investigate. It has been 47 days and my balance is now less than after the fraud took place, when my account was supposed to be locked.DO NOT ever use this company!!!! They are getting a 1 star rating because it wont let me choose less

      American Express Travel bookings.This is a service that misleads it's customers. They say they honor a lower price guarantee on bookings but doesn't stand behind it when they need to. I booked a stay at a hotel months in advance, which has a lower price guarantee I rechecked the pricing on their own site closer to the time of the stay and found the price had dropped significantly. I called their customer service to get the price match because the online link wouldn't work. I spoke with a lady who looked at the comparison and understood I was looking at their own site. I was then told to take a screenshot of the pricing and submit it after my stay to their email link of lowestrateguaranteed at amextravel.com, to which I did. However, they just argue and deny any legitimacy to my claim, stating they can't match their own pricing and that I should submit a lower price from a competitor site only, which now that it's after the stay, I can't do that because I can't go back in time to look at other sites. They refuse to address my inquiries multiple times and just ignore me. Absolute garbage of customer service and a lie about price matching. I'll never book with them again and will advise anyone to book with a more legitimate service.
