      I purchase multiple AMEX gift cards on the website for my company. In the past year, 3 of those large amount gift cards were hacked. I filed a dispute with AMEX and sent them all the information they requested. After receiving a case number, i was told the refund was on it's way within 30 days. 4 MONTS LATER, numerous calls to them, being put on hold for over 40 minutes each time, and still nothing is resolved. AMEX is a global business, that should be ashamed of itself for scamming their customers by giving them the run around. My company has spent so much money using AMEX. After reading many other reviews, this seems to be their normal practice when it comes to replacing a gift card. They do not even deserve one star. Buyer beware when considering getting an AMEX gift card for someone. I don't understand how the BBB could still allow them to have a A+ rating.

      I have been scammed by *************. They have charged me $360 for a purchase of *****. Unable to see their "************** on the web. They did not send invoice, nor showing it anywhere Not included with Packing slip either. There is no web page for *************, and the original advertisement is no longer there. Called their number, as showed on Retail transaction, does not excist. Sent email, no reply Many other people had been scammed by this company I have already spoke to an American Express representative and told me to send all the information gathered. I have sent three times this information and the three times it was declined. The ******** service agent told me it was my problem.In fact, they made no effort to check the authenticity and legality of this company.I have returned their card after 20 years of having been a loyal customer.I only hope that clients are aware of American Express "Not doing anything for their customers" Service

      I have an American Express Serve card and my card was fraudulent used and I put a dispute in and they denied it because they said they had proof and if i wanted to see it to send a letter in requesting that information and when I sent in the information they emailed me back and said that they didn't have no proof they just decided I was lying so they not gonna refund me my ******

      Misleading advertising for their rewards program and useless customer support.They enticed me for $250 annual charge card with good promo offer.But they rejected promo offer on some pretext.Fraud company

      I am a victim of fraud.. I disputed it and merchant send a fake government id with forged documents l and Amex took their side. I have real documents and they just closed my case and stuck me with the bill

      Applied for a Delta Skymiles card for what seemed to be a great promo. A $400 statement credit. My online application was approved, and then when I tried to use the card for purchase of airline ticket it didnt go through. They touted security issues. So I had to use another card and not get the $400 credit but I was assured I would get the credit for a future purchase. I didnt get the physical card until sometime in middle of 6/2022. Finally I had a need for another delta flight. Booked it in 9/2022. Confirmed online with AMEX rep that my $400 credit would show in **** weeks. I have records of the chat and so do they. Fast forward to more than 12 weeks and now they are saying my purchase was ineligible and my 3 month promo period for this credit ended in August. Note, I wasnt able to use the card until I received a physical card in June. Now they need 30 days to research my issue and see if theyll do anything about it. Im going to cancel being an AMEX member after this issue is resolved or unresolved. Sad. Ive been a member for around 15years. Their customer service is terrible and Id be surprised if any of the reps are stateside.

      I was an authorized user on my father's account for 14 months without ever missing a payment. As soon as he passed away they cancelled his account, leaving me with no credit card in order to run the house he left me. Despite my inheritance, they treated me like a stepchild, so I would never consider them in the future,

      AMEX gift card customer service stinks. They do not care about someone being frauded. Was frauded and someone took all money off the card. They said which merchant fraud was with and to contact the merchant. Merchant does not exist. **************** said they do not care about keeping information of where fraud went through. Maybe if they did people would not keep being frauded. Will never buy another AMEX gift card again.

      AMEX travel is a massive pain. I would expect significantly better CX from a company like AMEX. I am a Platinum cardholder and have 3 accounts with AMEX. First, booking a trip took me HOURS, because the site was not working. All of the agents I spoke to could only tell me to clear my cache, but it wasn't my issue, it was theirs. I finally booked the next day. They don't price match on flights. They make it appear that 24 hour cancellation is easy, with a button on the website, but you still have to go around in circles with their terrible agents. 5x the points is enticing, the entire experience is excruciating. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

      I have currently have a blue American Express delta skymiles card. I previously applied for a higher level card in order to earn ****** bonus points. I used the card almost exclusively and spent thousands of dollars each month paying on time throughout the year. At the end of the year I called American Express and specifically asked the agent, if I downgraded the card would I lose my points. The agent said no. The telephone call was recorded on their end. Thereafter I received an email that I would lose the bonus points. I contacted American express and explained that I relied on the representations of their agent, which they could listen to on their own recording, stating that I would not lose my points and had she told me otherwise I would have kept the card and not downgraded. They took it under review. American Express then told me that they took the bonus points because I had previously downgraded a card in 2019! Fast forward, I now notice that my Delta skymiles account has not been reflecting any points since May of 2022,even though my American Express statements shows me with ****** - an amount confirmed by American Express last week. Notwithstanding same, I just got off the phone with an American Express agent who told me I have a negative balance in my skymiles rewards because of the bonus miles that they took back. So here I am thinking I am earning points by using this card, the statements show I am earning points, and according to American Express I am in the negative. I will not be spending one more dime with this company.
