      If I could give no stars I would. This card is horrible. They hold your money and then say that it's the merchant. It's not the merchant it's the card company holding funds for 30 days. Pls beware when using this card. I can not get my money back and custome service does not help. I have already emailed the corporate office. THIS CARD IS A SCAM BEWARE!!!!!

      I have or had 5 Amex cards. Platinum, Gold, Cash, Prefered and ***** Amex. Amex canceled my cards without an explanation and forfeited 160k points. They called me to pay off my gold card which had **** dollar balance. My platinum 0 balance and the others 0 balance to maybe **** dollars. Ive had them for years. Used them through COVID and Paid them.. No excuses. No COVID excuse I paid them. I have other cards that actually called during COVID and asked if I wanted to defer and basically let me know they understand the situation. I said thank you but Im good. Ill use and pay like I always do. Amex not at all. I never heard a recording or received a call. Thats fine with me because I didnt need it but it was nice when discover and the others atleast asked do you need anything. I called Amex when I went in my app and my cards said cancelled. There representative in another country put his supervisor on the phone and his supervisor only wanted one thing. He wanted full payment. He wouldnt answer any of my questions like why did they cancel and why should I pay **** when I pay a membership of 650 and 400 for the gold and platinum. What happened to my points? Nothing. Cool guess what you dont care, so neither do I. I told Amex many times give me a credit of something and Ill consider paying you off because you already saved your bank **** by cancelling all the points I had and atleast 400 from the membership fee I paid in December. Paid over a thousand and it was July so give me back the difference or credit it. NOPE. He says in your member agreement. Stop. I have my own agreement with myself that says when I get ripped off your agreement is meaningless. I dont care I told them send my account to collections!!! They still call me 25 times a week and I still say credit my account half only half for the money you stole which is way more than half and Ill pay you off right now! NOPE. Cool send it to collections. I refuse to pay a fraud company. Amex is garbage.

      Okay where should I start?I Applied for. Business Blue Card in August 3rd. They have been telling me Your Application Is Still Pending.I have Another Card with American Express Business for $20K limit but yet they are still reviewing my Application.They asked for my (**** * Form) I submitted in PDF and Its still has been under Review.Once again like I said I already have 20K limit with them.I have a perfect Credit.Perfect Income.I am thinking of closing out my other 20K limit with them!Poor Customer Service.Cant really do their jobs right!I hope *************** THIS I kept calling and getting a supervisor to try to see what I can do to get this done faster but apparently they cant reach out to the Supervisor. Thats Ridiculous LOL unprofessional and disgusting.

      I think American express is a scam I have good credit and get lots of offers from them saying pre qualified and everytime applied denied and causes my credit to drop don't fall for it plenty of better cards out there

      I bought a prepaid American Express card for $250. on August 11, 2022. Right away there was a pending transaction for $249. at a restaurant in ********, ********. I live in ******* ********* and bought the **** card in *******, *********! I immediately called **** and the representative named **** told me they cant stop a pending transaction; they have to wait for it to go through and to call back! When I called back, this rep said there was nothing they could do! This is not fair! I was out $250. Just not fair! They shouldnt be allowed to sell prepaid cards! Ive heard how people scan in the store, but I dont understand how they do that and then they stand by for the card to be activated? It was a card that you could buy up to $500. and I told the cashier that I wanted it for $250.

      Have been with AMEX since ****. 5 different accounts, always paid in full and on time. One card I dont use had a knife annual fee charge, I wasnt aware of and did t get paid. They posted a 30 day delinquent on my credit and refuse to remove it. Thats the service and loyalty you receive with American Express. Switching everything over to a different card after they showed me their true colors and loyalty issues.

      I originally signed up the the **** platinum card in February 2021 to help with some of my moving expenses and redeem some of the offers/benefits of the card. My card never arrived. I then tried to get a replacement card sent to me in April 2021. Again, my card never arrived. I canceled and closed my account in June ********************************************************************************* ******* of 22 I had a change of heart and decided to sign up again. This time, my card arrived and Ive been using it ever since. I attempted to redeem the ******* membership points after spending over $6,000 in the first six (6) months. But since I had already been a member this offer was no longer offered to me. What a complete waste of time and energy. I never had the opportunity to activate and use a card because I never received it, on two separate occasions in 2021. I will be deactivating my account again. Never sign up with this company as I have wasted several hours at this point on the phone with less than helpful people and end ** in the same position.

      In March, I signed up for Amex Gold Skymiles under what now seems to be a false promise of a $200 statement credit and ***** points. When I called the hotline I was notified that I was not eligible for the Welcome bonus after my credit check. I asked for the exact reason for this decision as my credit cards have always been in good standing and my credit is over 800. Because of what looks and smells like fraud and misleading tactics to entice customers to join, I am now out several hundred dollars, factoring that I booked with the more expensive ***** airlines, enticed by the falsely advertised credit and points.

      Bluebird mailed 3 different debit cards to my address with strange names of people I do not know. Tried RETURN to sender. All 3 came back to me. Found an address on internet in **************, **, to send a letter request to stop sending cards to my address. Letter returned to me - vacant address. Found another address in ***** **. Sent my request letter there. Hoping this company honors my request!
