      This card is a f'ing joke ! I've had this card for several years with no issues until recently. There was a unauthorized charge of $350 on my account . I immediately called and reported it. As soon as I received the fraud declaration form, it was filled out and immediately emailed right back to them. I even got the confirmation email stating that it was received. Here we are 2 weeks later and I still haven't received my provisional credit ! Everytime I call, I'm given a different BS story. 90% of the time, I'm on hold for over 2 hours and I can't even understand what they are saying when I finally get someone l. They are rude and very unprofessional.

      Absolute crooks. So many banks to choose from please don't make the mistake I did and choose this one! Truly not worth the frustration of being lied to and have your credit be wrecked by incompetent people who care about you less than their left sock.

      The cards **** I had platium gold blue hilton they ripped me off luggage fees I called they didnt handle it happened 3 times I swore at a****** they cancelled 4 cards ruined my credit there a******* love ??

      I was recently approved for the AMEX Platinum Card. I received two separate offer letters from AMEX. One had a ******* point signup bonus and the other letter offered a ******* point sign up bonus. I accidentally scanned the ** code on the lower ******* point offer when signing up. After realizing my mistake, within a few days of signing up, I contacted AMEX support to request the ******* point offer. AMEX's response was, "We understand you would like to take advantage of the higher points bonus offer, however as of this time, the account has been finalized and established. ... This means that the offer you have attached on the account could have been the best offer available at the time of your application. Promotion varies from time to time and depends upon the availability during your card application." I literally just signed up for the card less than a week before contacting customer service and the ******* point offer doesn't expire for another two months. I resolved this issue by immediately cancelling my credit card.

      They lowered my credit limit and then raised my interest rate to 29% because I was close to the limit. I was always on time with my payments. Now my credit score to a hit because of them. When I asked if they would lower the interest rate back, they refused. What a horrible, inhumane company, do not do any business with them.

      The Business Gold Card for small businesses is a racket which will likely damage your credit if youre unable to clear your balance each month, over the $12,000 threshold. You will be badgered with calls and emails to clear the balance, or else, and also be told you are ineligible for the Financial Relief Program, which helps you pay off the balance between ***** months. Then they reduce the limit on your personal credit cards to get the utilization closer to 100%, which impacts your personal credit score. You can speak to even the managers and get no resolution, just threats of a likely delinquent report to the credit agencies if you dont clear the balance. Totally useless bunch.

      **** E My wife got her statement showing a late charge of $40 and numerous interest payments adding up to $105.99.She had auto pay on her account but they're agents said it was turned off and that they could give us any credits.We spoke to at least 5 different ************* all said we had to pay the ******* wife has never paid a fee from any credit card or bank in her life & is very upset over this.We both closed out our accounts and will try to contact American Express *********** by mail to see if one of their Corporate employees will refund our payments.

      I am waiting on the line with American Express for over an hour with 2 representatives I'd number ********************** have put me on hold and are not communicating with **** highly recommend to stay away from American Express!!!. Worst company to ever do business with as someone who has billions I will never ever deal with them again.

      I purchased a $50 Gift Card for my grandaughters Christmas present. The card was activated but didn't work for purchasing anything in person or on line. Went to ******* they couldn't refund, told me to call the company card. I did that on 26 Dec 24 and filed a claim case number ******** via email and received an email that the claim was received and would take 3-30 days to be resolved. I called on 18 Jan 25 and was told that they never received the email even though I could show them the number given on 26 Dec 24 and resent the information to the same email since they couldn't resolve anything and refused to send me to someone that could. I didn't receive a confirmation email this time. I called back on 27 Jan 25 and was told the same as I had on 18 Jan 25. Tried to send the email again to same email and didn't receive a confirmation email back. I sent a letter with all of the information from both emails and the two calls on 28 Jan to the El Paso office and asked to have this resolved by 14 Feb 25. I have not received a reply via email, call, or mail. I want my $50 back for this and think they need to work on their ****************** personnel to ensure that in the future these type of complaints can be resolved faster and correctly in the future.

      It seems to me if you pay your bill off before the statement. Due american expressdate,company does not make any interest on your account. They shut you down which i think is un fair!!! Therefore, I would not recommend this credit card. It seems to me it's a one way street. If they don't make money on you, they don't want you.
