    All the numerous complaints echo my own experiences with Gemini abruptly freezing my account and not answering inquiries in a timely manner. They are dealing with people's hard-earned money and seem to act carelessly and possibly fraudulently.In reference to my ticket "Ticket ID: *******":My account was frozen due to a password issue to which I resolved approx. 7 days later by following Gemini's steps to recover my account. When I logged into my account I found that my Solana position had been sold on a date that I am always at work and then rebought with USDC into an Ethereum position. I immediately contacted Gemini as this is highly unlikely an outsider who had hacked my account as it was FROZEN in the weeks leading up to this. This leads me to believe that Gemini itself is the culprit, either mistakenly or intentional. Regardless, they have sent one email in 3 days and I'm getting no responses to my questions and concerns. So, I am now having to escalate this matter in light of the mounting evidence that Gemini is negligent and careless with CUSTOMERS MONEY!My ETH (***) position is still sitting in my account frozen. I want my account unlocked so I can transfer MY CRYPTO out of GEMINI. I do not TRUST this company.

    I put a few hundred dollars into Gemini a few years back and made some small purchases using their exchange and then let it sit dormant for a long time having forgotten about it and when I finally remembered it wouldn't you know it I couldn't remember my password and I think what happened was in me trying to recover I forgotten password locked my account and it was impossible to get into for me. When I tried to contact Gemini about it at first they responded fast and when I gave all the information they requested for verification of my ID they did not respond after that for a very long time and I had sent them many requests asking for updates or if they were anything else they needed but I stayed persistent and did not lose my cool and talk down to them or anything and lo and behold they did get back to me and unlocked my account! I had completely lost any trust I had for them in just a short few weeks of waiting but as I said they fixed everything and I had access to my stuff again.!!! I think what might be happening is that they are becoming very busy more than they may be able to handle in any respectable amount of time. As such many people lose their cool very fast when it comes to their money not being accessible so perhaps the people who are belligerent when contacting them are put on the back burner can't blame them for that. And you can't blame people for being frustrated when their money is not accessible. All I can say is I will use Gemini some more and overall I am satisfied with their app and would recommend it to anybody who has patience when dealing with a company starting up

    My 2 bitcoin and 2 bitcoin cash was stolen from me and Gemini took no accountability or provided little to no help in process of recovering funds. Terrible! Would not recommend, please look for safer ways to keep your bitcoin. Do not trust Gemini.

    I did not even begin to invest when I read a Propublica article about **************, and felt that I was falling into this scam. So I tried to get my money back. No help from Gemini after numerous attempts. I called my credit union to retract my wire transfer. They went to ********** where the wire transfer was deposited for Gemini. ***** sent three requests (so far) to Gemini for a debit authorization, and ***** has not received any response. I thought this was legitimate because the app is available in ****** Play Store. No one should trust Gemini.

    The company should be closed. Fortunately, I had already withdrawn my money, but I need my **** Form for the 2022 taxes. My account was frozen, what I did not know. In the chat room, the only way to talk to them, they told me somebody will call me. Somebody called me. But after this call Dollar 998 has been withdrawn from the account I had used to wire money from my bank to Gemini in previous years. After 100 emails there is no solution. They do not care or try to make out for the theft of their employees. I am at a loss now.

    I had a fruad transaction in my card and they flagged it as legitimate transaction. everytime I call, I get a call center from *********** and I don't get a chance to talk to the dispute resolution. I leave my name and number for a call back and I never get one. As such they've reported missed payment when the transaction was born out of fraud. Never do business here and especially get a credit card. The twinklevosses are as crooked as they come.

    This is an absolute SCAM of an exchange. They arbitrarily withhold funds, and even after providing ALL requested information and after being assured my funds were now available, I get a completely different error message. I can only presume they will now drag me through the same intensive process simply to delay my withdrawal.I have no choice but to assume Gemini has systems in place to systematically make the withdrawal process difficult in a method through which they can prevent "bank runs" on their exchange. That is NOT free market behavior and should be considered illegal for any firm operating with U.S. territory.Ticket ID: ****** for anyone who would like to reference the embarrassing display of "customer service" I work for the largest **************** Firm in the world and I can tell you if our service resembled anything close to what Gemini has shown, we would lose 90% of our client renewals. This is a complete scam exchange and all potential customers MUST be made aware of these practices that seem more and more to be systematic when looking at other customer complaints. This will NOT be the last you hear from me or some other colleagues I know of.

    I am very disappointed in Gemini. I am having the same issues as the others that have written a review. Right now i cannot access 10K. How is this legal. They are asking for a lot of personal information stating they will not take the hold off my account without the information. What is this all about? I have given them everything that they have asked for. I have had no issues with this company up to now. Why all of a sudden? Of course, you cannot speak to a live person, either.Please help!

    Im still waiting on my withdrawals and I had opened multiple tickets but no one is able to assist. This company keeps sending me back scripted email. No escalation to managers. I need this withdrawal process today!!!

    I opened my Gemini account at the end of last year, and I wish I'd gone elsewhere to get into crypto. My first attempt at withdrawing from Gemini went OK, just as a test on procedure. The next attempt at withdrawal a couple weeks later, Gemini wouldn't even convert my **** into BTC well beyond the 72 hours after purchase, but the ticket submitted was addressed & resolved in a couple days. I was still leery, but stayed with Gemini, much to my chagrin.My latest withdrawal transaction was placed immediately in a security hold. A week or so later, I get an email asking me to answer 8 questions, upping a pic of me holding my DL, and a pic of a code, like in ******* A's review - which I promptly did.That was pretty much the last I heard from support. I didn't want to start sending emails on a daily/weekly basis, cause I knew they'd get tuned out. I submitted a new ticket monthly with the previous ticket number that were unaddressed, though I did get quite snarky & sarcastic with them as time went on.Finally, last week, I decided to call the only phone number listed (it's on the right). I knew it wouldn't get answered, but it actually generated another ticket, and this time, there seemed to be an actual person behind the email. He said he was going to close in a few more days if I didn't respond - I responded with all the other tickets I had explaining the security hold, etc.The very next day, the hold was lifted, and I completed my 3 1/2 month-long transaction!So I guess the ****** learned is - call the (866) number when tickets go unanswered.
