Saks is the worst, I returned 3 items on September 26th and after received an email that the return was received, followed up to inquire about the returen I was told it will take a minimum of 30 days and could take longer from the date the return was recieved. So fast forward to 11/6th which according to customer service is when i was supposed to get the credit, it was not processed. I got a give merchandise credit for 1 of the 3 items and the other 2 were supposed to be credited back to my card which has not happened. I just hung up with Daburrian who said ***** will get back to me tomorrow, same story as last week. It is now 11/21. THEY DO NOT KNOW THE DEFINITION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! They are crooks! Buyer Beware order on ***************** do not shop online at ****. NEGATIVE STARS

I purchased a YSL bag from Saks.com (~$1300) and that came with a defective zipper. The first time I opened the zipper, it broke. I reached out to customer service and advised I would be returning the bag and purchasing it elsewhere. After about 6 weeks or no refund and being told my refund was pending vendor review, I was told they would not be accepting my return because the bag was damaged and refused to listen when I told them, repeatedly, that it was defective. I reached out to a store to try and return it at a store and the person told me that there was nothing she could do, the bag was my "problem" and hung up abruptly. I filed a claim through my insurance company, who'd advised they had seen a lot of claims filed for this retailer. They required me to reach out to the vendor (YSL) directly to request vendor approved locations for the repair. They asked me to send them the bag directly for inspection and upon receipt of the bag, they called to tell me no repair was necessary. It was evident the bag was brand new and they would simply swap it out and I simply closed the claim. Saks 5th Ave customer service was terrible and they lied about the vendor response. I explained to *** what had occurred and they apologized profusely on their behalf and stated that if their warehouse had really received the bag as I'd returned it to them, they would have swapped it out, no questions asked, as it was clear it was never used. Terrible customer service and lied about a vendor response for a defective product. DO NOT SHOP AT ****.

SAKS, do not hold themselves accountable for any misrepresentation. Absolute weasels trying to dodge any right of the consumer. They hold onto your money beyond their policy when it comes to refunds … just reading the testimonies here and on other sites ! Saks don't hold themselves accountable when they misrepresent items. All return shipping is on the customer even if it sucks error
So… A pair of expensive jeans I was on the hunt for were only available on SAKS, (i was wary) documented on their website as a US 8 (brand size 42 euro) . . I Receive the jeans they are at least two sizes too big, no “8”the label, per brand, only 42. So SAKS must’ve labeled it an US 8. The website only states US sizes and nothing about it being oversized in the description. I have to pay for return shipping, even though this is an inaccurate website and misrepresentation. I called, great that they’re employing people, but they could also use that to give free refunds when it’s the full of Saks, They blame it on the company (awake mode) for their interpretation of US sizes. This is now my second purchase that’s been a complete fail. I’ve sent the item back, but I am anticipating for them not to refund until past 30 days of receipt, Per their policy, which they don’t even uphold. (like they did with the last one that I had to chase) . I have a feeling this is some kind of interest/holding pattern/loaner Scam. How are they still in business? I’d only purchase something in person. Not online. For those that have damaged goods, there is a law about something being fit for purpose. As usual everything is loosey-goosey. Never again. ********* is the gold standard.

Saks is very different now - canceling an order after a week of waiting and when I called customer service - the phone was disconnected after 30 min of waiting.

Ive been a longtime customer for many years recently. I purchased a pair of Mugler jeans for $788. They were too small. I turned around and sent them back the next day that was October 6. It is now November **************************************************************************************** back my money. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company to force them to return my money. I will never shop at Saks Fifth Avenue again.

I purchased three dresses online at ****' website, for a total of about $2,000 worth of merchandise, to try on for a wedding. I ended up not trying any of them on as a dress from ****** arrived first and was perfect. I returned the packages when I received them, following their return process and using their box and their label. I received an email from **** when they received my returned package. That was on October 3rd. On October 15th I called customer service because I saw nothing reflected on my credit card about the refund. I was told by the customer service *** that they don't issue refunds for 30 days after receiving the package back. Aside from the fact that this is an atrocious way to run the return aspect of your business when you're trying to be an online Merchant, I received no further communication from them at the 30-day ***** I waited until November 8th before contacting my credit card company to do a chargeback. Within 5 hours of having filed the chargeback with my credit card company, I suddenly received an email from **** saying that my credit has been issued. The whole experience seemed quite shady and not what I would expect from this company, especially since I have ordered dresses from them years ago and had no problem either with the purchase or the return. I don't think I would have gotten my $2,000 refund if I hadn't gotten my credit card company involved. Even aside from that, the idea that you would have to wait 30 days after they receive the return to receive a refund means nobody should be ordering from this company online.

Saks misleads, attempts to deceive/scam, and fails to delivery or correct their business practices when caught. I ordered a pair of ***** ****** Purple Label Shorts (RL's premium line) and received a pair of knock off **** ***** ****** (RL's inferior line) shorts instead, with Purple Label tags attached. This was an attempt to pass off the inferior line shorts as the premium ones, though they still had the Polo tags attached and the item's tag also wasn't aligned with the item description on the website. The shorts I ordered are 51% silk/51% linen and made in ********, the knock off I received is 100% linen and made in ***********. I contacted Saks on chat and they acknowledged the issue, but immediately ended the chat and initiated a return process without asking or notifying me. I called, and they also acknowledged the issue, but demanded I return the item. As per *** guidance, I am not required to incorrect items sent to me that I did not order, they are considered a "gift". As far as I am concerned, they have not sent me the product I paid for and are not willing to send it or issue a refund for it. I am simply requesting they follow through on delivering the item I ordered and respect the *** regulations relating to the incorrect item they sent.

I purchased a dress for my daughter for her rehearsal dinner that arrived while she was traveling out of the country for work and upon return it was too large and when I requested a return only for store credit because I realized it was 6 days outside the return window I was told no and that there are no one time exceptions for customers. I only requested a store credit - Saks loses nothing! Ive made calls and was told no supervisor was available but they would email me. This never happened. Today I spoke with a reported supervisor that told me she didnt have or know the **************** address or contact number for Corporate! How are you a supervisor but you cant provide this information. Im looking for resolution as a frequent Saks customer who is very unhappy with *****************
