1 starSaks Fifth Avenue has the worse return/ refund policy. I returned my purchase the same day received as the dress did not fit (size was off). I was told by customer service that my purchase was in the hands of the return facility and that is was under inspection and should receive an email with the refund status. It is now over 31 days and I have not received my refund. **************** is not helpful as well, I spoke to the supervisor, ******* and stated that they are backed up 1 week and I should receive the notice for a refund 7 days after the 31 days which would be outside of their return policy. I'm extremely disappointed and no one is helpful when you call to check status. I will let me credit card handle the rest, since it is now a violation of Civil Code section 1723.Review fromEricca C

1 starI originally put in the wrong address for my order since it was saved address on my account. I called Saks customer service before the item was delivered and was ASSURED that the item would be held at *** ** for pickup. I was given the address of the holding center and told that I could pick the item up the next day.
Lo and behold the item was delivered to the wrong anyways. I don’t even live in the same city anymore. I called Saks back was assured that I would receive a refund and all I had to do was wait 10 business days to file a missing merchandise claim. They even told me I would receive a refund for shipping. I did as I was instructed and they DENIED MY CLAIM. The customer service agent on the phone this morning said it was my fault that the address was wrong. I am completely in shock! What kind of terrible customer service is this for a luxury brand?! Now I’m having to pay for merchandise that someone else has.Review fromLaTesha G

1 starI am so very disappointed in Saks off 5th and their customer service **** (which has been outsourced to another country).I ordered a pair of $400 pair of size 6 over the knee boots on 10/24. On 10/30 I received a package from **** (the company they use for deliveries) and the box looked way too small to be over the knee boots. When I opened the package, there were a size 8 pair of sneakers priced at $250 inside. I immediately called customer service. They asked me to send a picture of the shoe and upc code to the email the cs *** provided. I was then advised that I could return the sneaker to any store or mail the item back. The young woman kept trying to make me feel like she was doing me a favor by allowing me to return the sneaker for free. I was also advised that I would have to pay for the boots again and then wait 30 days for a refund for the incorrect item that was sent AND they could not overnight my correct boots for free, despite their error and my need for this boot bythe weekend.I asked for a mgr. I was again told that there was nothing that could be done. After much ado, I was told that I would receive a return label on the evening of 10/30 to send the shoes back by courier on 10/31. I did not receive the email. I called back on 10/31 and asked if I could go to return the shoes to the store WITHOUT HAVING AN ISSUE BECAUSE MY ORDER NUMBER WOULD NOT MATCH THE SHOES I WOULD BE RETURNING. I was again assured that would not be a problem!!! I was also then sent a return label on 10/31 with a Wisconsin add. I am in *******!I drove over an over to the ********* location. **** (store mgr) and ******* (district mgr) would not return the sneaker and were quite insensitive, not allowing me to show them my email exchanges, simply saying that it would "mess up their inventory" because the sneaker wasn't the ******* this point I have a sneaker I did not order & return label that shows a pickup at an address in ********* and I live in *******!Review fromCarolyn B

1 starSaks fifth Ave keeps you return for 30
Days . This is unacceptable. They can charge you from the start but they hold your Credit .This should be illegal. I have been waiting for my credit for over 25 days
It was sent back via Fed x. I called customer service and asked for them to expedite my claim to no avail.Review fromcaria l

It's best to avoid purchasing low-value but fragile items from ****' online store. I ordered a $65 ornament along with other products to qualify for a promotion where spending $3,000 would earn a $900 gift card. However, the ornament arrived broken, wrapped only in thin plastic without any protective box. When I reached out to customer service via text and provided a photo of the damaged item, they informed me that I could get a $65 refund, but this would cause me to lose the $300 difference in the gift card value, as my purchase total would no longer meet the $3,000 threshold, dropping it to the $2,000 level with a $600 gift card. I then called their phone support, hoping for a better resolution. The response was the same, though they offered a 10% discount on the broken item, effectively a $6.50 refund if I kept it without requesting a full refund. Weighing the potential $300 gift card loss against the $65 refund, I opted not to pursue the refund and retain the original $900 gift card. More importantly, I declined the $6.50 "compensation" from Saks, finding it to be insulting. It was a very disappointing experienceI ended up with a broken $65 ornament and spent an hour dealing with customer service for an ********************************* resolution.I searched for news about **** online and discovered that the company **** hundreds of thousands of dollars to vendors. With this new perspective, I've decided to let go of the $65 issue without further complaints. At the very least, I can say Ive been more generous than Saks, which could only offer $6.50 as compensation for a broken item.Saks Fifth Avenue

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We will ensure a full refund is issued for the broken ornament. Please allow the credit 3-5 business days to process and ************ assured your $900 promotional gift card will not be affected.Review fromRenee B

I think it is absurd that they are allowed to wait 30 days to provide a refund on returns, even when the return is shown as received and processed. And trying to get a resolution on this with the customer service team is impossible. They just tell you to wait and try to blame the credit card companies for holding onto funds. I will no longer be shopping on this website due to this return policy.Saks Fifth Avenue

**** M I am utterly shocked to find that all of these people have had the same experience that I am currently undergoing. I ordered 3 items that shipped separately and I returned all three which were confirmed received back by them 9/12, 9/16 & 9/18/2024. I have had to email numerous times inquiring as to when I could expect my refund. Their practices are unethical and should be illegal as theyre clearly looking to make interest off the float. Luxury retailer? Hardly, more like scam artists. They wont even consider escalating your concern until its been 31 days and then you get a response like this:Dear ****,Thank you for your inquiry regarding order#XXXXXXXXX.Upon reviewing the information on your concern, your return was received on September 18th. Keep in mind that whenever the return is received at our warehouse, it takes up to 30 days for the return to be processed. After this, it may take up to one billing cycle for the refund to be processed on your account, the timing of your refund may vary depending on how long it takes for your financial institution to credit your account. We wait a week for the refund to reflect on your account before escalating cases to our team. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us via chat on saks.com, SMS, or call us by phone at 1-8XX-XXX-SAKS (7257) so we can resolve the issue promptly.Thank you for being a Saks customer.Sincerely,Paloma ************* Care Specialist I AM DONE! ****************!! I was waiting on a package to be delivered. The package was held up for days, I called every day to ask them to get with the shipper to find out why the package wasn't moving, and that I need it for my daughter's birthday. I ordered the item way ahead of time. I was told, I had to wait until 10/20, and I ordered the package on 10/06 to do any claims. I would check the site every day to make sure the item was still available and begged for them to reship. I check the tracking 10/17 to show the package was delivered 10/16 at 11:30pm. The package was never delivered I have a doorbell camera and dogs that would've started barking. What shipping company delivers at 11:30pm. There were no pictures, and I spoke with a live agent on ****** the shipper, and they were unable to confirm the status/location of your package. Saks denied by refund and reorder. I had it escalated and called my bank to dispute the funds. I live in the *************, and I expect to speak with someone in the ** not from different countries that can't understand you or you not being able to understand them. You all had no problem taking my money for the order but then give mediocre service. You are too big of a company not to have a point of contact for the shipper whomever this ontrac is. I will not allow you all to steal from me which is what you did. The merchandise was not delivered. Do better it's disgusting how you treat your customers. This was a gift for my daughter, and family members pitched in to get her this bag for her birthday. I will NEVER SHOP WITH SAKS AGAIN.Saks Fifth Avenue
