1 starI've been waiting 4 1/2 months for a replacement part. They have ordered the part twice and I still haven't received it. The customer service outsourced and it's horrendous and inadequate. 1 starReceived a tread, direct purchase from peloton. I noticed a wobble, though balanced. A little inspection revealed a missing bolt to the side rail. I am 3 weeks into trying to get a bolt replaced- probably close to 6 hours on the phone, on hold, waiting. Ive been shipped an incorrect part and now have been told it needs to be approved which takes an additional week. I am returning promptly as its under the 30 days to return. I am so sad, because I love the tread, love the Peloton classes- but if this company can not invest in correcting poor customer service, I can not support the business. Known firmware update ruined my peloton tread. Quoted thousands of dollars to repair on machine that is less than 2 years old. Machine has had thousands of dollars in warranty work due to faulty parts.Peloton

I have been in communication (and attempted communication) with Peloton for several weeks now. The screen on my Bike+ has been malfunctioning, with an inconsistent response to touch. This issue doesn't allow me to reboot the screen either (which may or may not help). After contacting tech support, rep. ** B. indicated that it was a software issue and that my screen would be replaced. A few days later, I received an email that I would need to pay $650 for a replacement screen. Further attempts for assistance and clarification were ignored. I was denied the ability to speak to a supervisor, and email and social media communications that I sent afterward were ignored.What I am trying to understand is why I have to pay to replace the screen because of a software issue. Aren't software updates and bugs the responsibility of Peloton? Also, why can't software problems be fixed - like virtually any other electronic device. The idea that I am responsible for a $650 replacement for an issue that I didn't cause on a bike that I didn't damage is such a hardship, as I am still paying for the bike that I can't use. This is a rip off.I am more disappointed than anything in a company that I have been raving about for years, but will never endorse again.Peloton

Response to recalled bikes has been abysmal. I've been waiting for almost 4 months for the part needed to ensure I can use my bike safely. Customer service would not provide a refund for the months waiting, and the estimated date of delivery for the part to make my bike safe keeps being moved out.I'm disappointed by what Peloton has become. It used to be a vibrant and supportive community, and now they can't even understand that their product is useless to me if I can't trust it is safe to use.Peloton

When I received by tread (the one recalled that I chose to keep because I love the tread and don't have small children or pets), I was told by the employees assembling the tread to call if I ever move. I moved from WA to NV, called Peloton and was told that the $175+ tax fee would cover disassembling and boxing to protect the tread. When the 3rd party company arrived to disassemble, I asked why they didn't box it up as promised and was told since it was a discontinued tread, they are not given boxes and that my mover would have to box it. I was also told the mover needs to be extra careful with all the exposed wires or they could cause issues when the tread is reassembled. When calling their customer service, asking why I was lied to, I was told they spoke to their 3rd party and verified they didn't have boxes on hand and would simply disassemble and set it aside. Peloton should have known this prior to promising something they couldn't fulfill. I now have to pay the $175+ tax to have them reassemble the tread and if anything is damaged they will take care of it. If I had known the 3rd party company didn't have boxes and wouldn't pack it up, I would have ensured I had boxes. If my tread got damaged in the move, who's to say they will have the parts since it's discontinued? I will recommend to anyone to steer clear of a company with no integrity.Peloton

Would not purchase any Peleton products. Our Peleton Tread stopped running after 13 months of use. *******'s said it was past their 12 month warranty so I would be responsible for the repairs. I was quoted by ******* $587.50 ("discounted price") prior to taxes, shipping, assembly to replace the base of the tread. Very poor customer service. Also cancelled my Peleton membership. Not a reputable company. Be aware before purchasing any Peleton products.Peloton

Somebody needs to hear how absolutely inept the customer service is at ********************. I bought a brand new Bike+ from Peloton, when delivered, it was broken. So, I spent over two hours on hold on the phone in a single day waiting to speak with somebody. The first time was nearly an hour and a half, which I was hung up on immediately when the call was answered without speaking to anybody. The second time was an hour wait time, and the person said they would speak to their supervisor about the situation and they would call me back the same day. Nobody called.I also sent a couple emails, all of which have gotten a response relating to my membership, and nothing about fixing the brand new bike I was delivered broken.I also spent over 5 hours waiting to speak to somebody on the "Chat Support" on the website. The first person did nothing to help me, and eventually just dropped the chat. The next several people said they would transfer me to somebody else, which left me waiting for an hour to get no response again.So, I feel there is no option but to dispute the charge on my credit card. Maybe that will get somebody's attention and they will actually try to help me. Or, maybe not.Peloton

I received my tread December 2022. It has had several small issues since it arrived and completely stopped working August 2023. I was told over a week ago by Peloton support that someone would contact me to make an appointment for a technician to come in and help with this. No one has called. I have spent at least 8 hours these past few days on call via chat and phone only to have their team hang up or leave the conversation before addressing the issue. A truly disappointing experience from a company I was once so fond of.I now have a $2500 tread sitting in my home that doesnt work and theres nothing that can be done about it.Peloton
