I called the company on Dec. 26,2022 to report a problem I had with a handbag. I was told it was out of warranty and nothing could be done. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He told me I would get a gift card of $20 emailed to me. On Tuesday Dec.27, I called numerous times to tell them I did not receive the gift card. They said they give no compensation in these cases. I told them what the supervisor had told me. They said they would trace the phone call I had made the previous day. They agreed I was correct and would send the gift card via email shortly. I received no email. I called and they said there was an issue in their system. I never received such customer service.Customer Answer

i bought the 4 bags for my family as a chritmas gift on dec 17,2022 ,order number ********** unfortunalety my order never arrived i contacted support in regarding of that they didnt provide me any resolution they need to understand how important that gift is for my family its really frustating for a cistomer paying for items that never arrived and when contacted no support has been given i request them please give me my money back on the items that didnt arrived . i will suggest anyone buying from there online store please dont do busines with them you will put yourself into mess support is trash no help at all.Initial Complaint

Good afternoon -On December 2017, I was issued a gift card in the amount of $135.00 for a return. I was told that the gift card had no expiration date. On November 25th, 2022, I went to the Michael Kors store at *******************, ** and was told that there was no balance on the card and to contact their customer service department. I paid the purchase with my credit card and contacted MK customer service department that following Monday. I was told that they can see that there was a balance of $135.00 and that a new gift card will be issued. Well, I have now called multiple times and have sent several emails and I still have not received the replacement gift card. Everytime I call, they say and they are "investigating". I have not received any callbacks either after asking several times for a manager to contact **** am asking for my full money back ($135.00) and compensation for all my troubles.Initial Complaint

This is about a purchase I made with Michael kors in NOVEMBER 2022. I returned the purchase in November 2022 for a full refund. Talked to customer service several time about the refund. Received 2 emails, one Received the items ( 2 pairs) shoes. Second email my money was been returned to the credit card used. I call about 4 to 5 times, customer service said "my bank declined the credit". I talked to my bank Michael kors was putting the amount in as a purchase and I didn't authorize the purchase. I take to a Supervisor he said " a check would be mailed in 5 to 7 days. As of today December 17th I have not received a payment. I'm talking to customer now while writing this complaint. I been on hold waiting for a Supervisor for 1 hour and 25 minutes. **************** rep. *** if I would take a gift card from Michael kors. I will never buy anything from Michael kors. I purchased a $400 ******* kors watch form the tangier outlets in ********* ** . The watch is no malfunctioning and fossil(who makes the watch which I didn't know upon purchasing) only to find that fossils customer service is absolutely a joke and ******* kors doesn't stand behind them at all or their customers. I have gone into both the ******* kors store and the fossil store and noone has a solution for me. The next step is a peaceful protest outside of the store.give me my money back or a new watch. I went to the Michael kors outlet store in ***************************************** they had purses that I found out where the wrong spot with a price in front of them that should have been what I paid for that purse after I purchase almost $400 worth of items I got home so that they charge me the higher price that was near the bigger purse I called there but they said that they couldn't do anything over the phone that I had to drive 45 minutes back to that store to get my adjustment of $70 I asked for the manager who told me that she would be there at that time on Saturday and she was not there they have four sister managers in a store manager it is just crazy you don't know who is who she said she adjusted it instead of 10% off she took 20% off and I would see my adjustment in 4 days on my credit card I left and when I got home and I went to look on the Michael kors website I found out that she somehow canceled off the points that I got for that transaction I called the store about it I said look even though you only did of adjustment of $70 you went in and cancel my transaction all the way so I did not get any points for spending $335 with you is she proceeded to give excuses to say oh we're due to the points with Michael kors and we can't do that there's no way we can do it and you have to be mistaken I called Michael kors corporate office and they said no it had to be the taker outlet store in ****** *****. I checked my account again today and it says that I returned everything and I lost over ***** points I want my points back I want them to fix what they did they obviously did go in and acted like I returned everything even though they didn't take it or credit me on my bank account they took it out of my points it did not put my points back in the customer service is horrible and I spent too much money online with this company and I was sick of them making excuses at this outlet Michael kors in ****** ***** and I want a manager to call me I want my pointsCustomer Answer

I am reporting that Michael Kors (1) refused to repair a product I purchased on warranty, (2) requested that I mail this item to them for inspection, but then did not return it to me when they declined to repair it, (3) never answered my emails asking for return of my item, (4) has ceased communications with me, (5) has not refunded me the cost of my item and my return postage even though they have my item in their possession.03/26/22 I ordered ****************** Leather Shoulder Bag (Order #**********) cost $373.50 09/15/22 I contacted MK customer service (Ticket #******* to report a defect in the item,with the leather braiding around the chain starting to unravel. I included pictures of the defect.09/16/22 The response is that my bag is still under warranty, and to mail it back to them for repair by a leather goods specialist (at no cost to me), but that if the defect could not be repaired, it would be returned to me.10/21/22 I ship the item to MK in *********, **, via **** for a cost of $29. Included is my completed return form, asking for the item to be returned to me if it cannot be repaired.11/03/22 I receive an email saying the defect cannot be repaired, but they can send a gift card for $374 11/06/22 I respond that I do not want a gift card, and ask again if it can be repaired?11/07/22 I receive an email restating the defect cannot be repaired, so I respond and say that I want my original item sent back to me. The response is that they will send more information when they get an update.11/16/22 I contact customer service again, asking for the item to be returned to me, and an update. The response is that it will take 3-5 more business days.11/26/22 I contact customer service again, and again request the item be returned to me. The response is that there is a high volume of inquiries and they will contact me soon.11/29/22 I contact customer service again, stating that I am getting angry that no one has responded to me, and that I would contact BBB. At this time, my complaint, ID ******** regarding Michael Kors has been resolved.My handbag was returned to me. I took it to a local shoe and leather repair shop and paid $10 for a full repair, which took less than 24 hours.
I paid $29 to ship the handbag back to MK -- it is ridiculous that MK did not honor the warranty on the product, because clearly the repair was
easy to do.
There was no letter included in the return parcel and there has been no written communication from MK since Nov 7, 2022, including no response
to my complaint through BBB. Deplorable customer service and fake warranty program.
